 Dawn 5 years female Kitsune She is very sweet and hates to be alone with her father. He beats her and she has a weak immune system because of it so she gets sick easily. She is the only girl in the family for 9 generations and hates that she doesn't have any other girls that are not her aunts. She has bruises all over her and hopes that her big brother can catch their father in the act of beating her so that they can get rid of him.

 Cody 18 years Male Kitsune Cody is a loving older brother, he loves his sister dearly and has found the bruises that were on her body. He hates that she also gets sick easily but recently, he just couldn't take it so that dropped out of college to help take care of his little sister.

heart Akiza heart Akiza was in her room crying and hugging her stufed horse that she'd had since she was born. She then hears the motor of Cody's car and was too scared to come out of her room even though their father was asleep after being drunk all day. Ever since their mom died he had been beating her. As it was she had a weak immune system and was sick as it was. She then coughs and hugs her horse as she lays down and lays her head on it not feeling well again.

Cody walked inside of the house after having parked the car and sighed quietly seeing their drunken father passed out again. He walked back into Akiza's room, seeing that she was sick and crying, this sight saddened him deeply but then he went and walked over, gently sitting on her bed, "Hey sis... how are you feeling?" He asked gently petting her head as he usually did to help calm her down.

"I don't feel good Cody." She said looking at him and holds his hand not wanting him to worry. She wished that their dad was as nice as he used to be. When their mother was alive before she was caught in the cross fire of a bank robbery. Akiza was so much like their mother. She was sweet and shy like her. The only difference was their mother was human and their father was a kitsune.

Cody nodded when she said that, "Alright Sis... but I promise that you will feel better." He said kindly, he gently kissed her forehead but then left to the kitchen, getting her some medicine that she help her feel better and brought it back to her.

Akiza takes the medicine and lays with Cody for a few minutes before falling asleep. The medicine made her sleepy. They had been to the doctor's office about her sicknesses quite a few times but eventually found out she had a weak immune system. She knew it was from her father beating her. She looked so cute as she slept and it was almost like she was a baby all over again.

Cody smiled seeing her fall asleep but he continued to watch her sleep as he was glad that she was getting some sleep. He hated that their father beat her, it pained him to see her bruised but he was ready to bust their father, whenever he was home, he had his camera phone ready to catch him doing this so he could save Akiza from him.

Akiza then hugs Cody in her sleep and snuggles close to him. She was smiling as she did and didn't want him to leave her.

Cody looked at her when she snuggled close to him, he gently smiled holding her in his arms happily.

Akiza wakes up a bit later and sees she was in Cody's arms. She then giggles and tickles him trying to wake him up and play with him for a bit like they used to.

Cody had fallen asleep with her but gently began laughing before he got up but then he gently began tickling her back playfully.

Akiza giggles and hugs Cody saying "I love you big brother. Your the best." She then smiles and stays in his arms happily. She was glad he still cared for her. After her mother died, it was tough for Akiza since she was a mommy's girl most of her life. When she was killed Akiza was heartbroken and still was. She cried every night up until now praying that her mother would stop their father from beating her.

Cody smiled as he hugged her back, "And I love you too sis, your the cutest little sister ever." He said happily but then he held her in his arms, he felt like he wanted to have it so that she wouldn't be heartbroken anymore.

Akiza giggles and hugs him back. "Do you think mommy is okay where she is big brother?" She asked missing their mother. She then grips Cody's shirt and stays close as she prayed that their mother was happy and wasn't suffering like she was in the hospital.
