So, I'm scheduled to go teach English in Korea next year and I need a bit of help with learning Korean. If anyone knows the language and would be willing to help me, OMG I WOULD LOVE YOU FOREVER.

I'm moving to Korea next year too but I'm in the military so I'll be stationed there. I'm super excited but I need to learn Korean. I only speak Japanese and English ><

Uwa! So many people going there! I'm actually going there next year to study at either Yonsei or Seoul Uni through the KLI program. What I've been doing to prepare is looking up phrases that I most definitely would need, like "Hello my name is..." or "Do you speak English?" etc. I've also taken to watching Eatyourkimchi's videos. It's really a cultural lesson, and help me prepare for what to expect as a white person going to an Asian country.
