[...or are you just happy to see me 8D ]

Sarias wasn't one for gushing over...well... over anything really, but it was happening and happening right now. The last time she showed emotion other than anger and rage her bedroom was destroyed....even if anger and rage played a huge part in its destruction. She reminded herself to be calm. It had taken a lot of explaining to the teachers why her room was the state it was in and bribing a gnome or two with taking the fall wasn't easy...well it was but it was getting harder to find places to hide the bodies and she had no time to enjoy herself right now. She was increasing low on supplies and after her run in with Archane she hadn't been able to collect all her ingredients for her potions...or poisons as some people called them. She would have Seiji begging for forgiveness at the end of the day. She would make certain of that.

But oh this emotion! It wasn't expected, not right now, not over this..this wonderful, amazing scene before her eyes! Sarias fell to her knees as if in prayer, her eyes gazing over with warmth and affection at what the good goddess had sought to provide for her. She pushed a hand down, almost gingerly as if to touch it would spoil the image before her, making it vanish forever. Her teeth chewed the blue lips slowly as she let loose little squeaks of joy until finally she had placed a hand on what she found. Her laugh was joyous, infections even. It was disturbing.

From anyone watching Sarias though it would only lead to confusion. For what it looked like from a distance was her cooing over the dead animal carcass of a Batling. It shrunken body decaying and withered in the limited sun light, stunk to high heaven. Nothing that a ghost couldn't ignore of course. Yet closer inspection revealed a plant, flowers even, slowly twisting their way out of the eye sockets of the beast. Sarias was ecstatic.

Mot was on another stroll through the woods. This was a tempt at Fate of course. His last few jaunts had led him to fall into a few traps and holes meant for mini pets or larger creatures. Why he feel victim to them so often, he had no idea. Still, he didn't want little snags in the road to keep him from a good stroll.

This time around, something steered his attention from the beaten path; The delightful giggling of a ghoul. Though, delightful it may be, it was almost scary and foreboding. While Mot did enjoy the company of ghouls, he always was a little bit weary of the ghosts, and a ghost was what he was sensing nearby. He wasn't sure what it was, perhaps it was his parents dislike of the race that tainted his own opinion. He did like to give them the benefit of the doubt, though.

Rather than stand around and ponder, the reaper made his way to the source of the noise. From what he could make of the ghoul, she seemed lovely, though her choice in what she fawned over was questionable. Was it just him, or did that look like a rotting vermin?

"What, pray tell, is a little lady such as yourself doing out in this neck of the woods?" He asked with a light smirk.

At the sudden voice Sarias almost crushed the flower under her hand as she cupped it softly, her eyes still gathering in the little details of every vein and fleck it had to offer. Her hand snapped shut into her own palm, crushing the nails into the ectoplasmic skin allowing her to tear into it slightly, the cuts leaking clear fluid as she breathed out slowly.

It took a minute to stem the immense anger she felt blubbering into her head. This herb, her herb, rare and beautiful as it was. Was nearly destroyed by this BOIL! Her eyes allowed no hint of rage to escape as she looked over at him, her mouth no longer turned in smile, but twisted in hate and contempt. And the day had started so well...

"Boil...I will give you only one piece of advice." It was a strange answer to his question but one in which she followed with a push up from her kneeling stance. Her wisps of smoke gathering length as they snapped in front of her, suddenly seeking out the boil as he stood meters away. She was making her way to him and she did so with such speed it was unnatural.

"If you ever, EVER, make me nearly crush a bleeding heart herb again, I WILL crush you. Do you understand me boil?" It wasn't an empty threat, her tone more than allowed for that to be seen as she sneered up at him, her words like ice upon his ears. If the boil didn't like ghosts before Sarias wasn't making the best impression right now. Yet the ghoul had no choice in the matter, the herb was fine and although she enjoyed nothing better than ripping out the vocal cords of the pathetic the boil hadn't really done anything wrong. A technicality but one that she had to respect.

"To answer your question reaper I am collecting supplies. Herbs and insects, animals and flowers, everything for my potions." She said the word reaper as if she had her own special hatred towards them but still qwelled her anger enough to pull out the long knife from her satchel. It was dirty and bloody from ungod-knows what and she traced a finger slowly down its metal.

"You will forgive me am sure if I can't tell you what exactly it for?" She suddenly turned and went back to the herb, cutting the stem with a swift thrust and pulling the unharmed flower heads towards her. "I am sure you wouldn't understand anyway." She said this with such authority it was almost as if she knew him which was absurd. The ghoul had never laid eyes on him before. Yet curiosity was always a weakness.

"The same question to you boil. What are you doing out here?"

Oh dear.

Somehow, he had startled the ghoul. Not just startled, he sensed an icy, horrid aura radiate from her, a feeling so chilling he knew he was doomed before he could utter a word of apology.

Mot's heart nearly jumped out of his throat as the ghoul seemed to appear in front of him quicker than he could blink. His mouth formed a thin line as he leaned away from the banshee as if her mere presence could suck out his soul. "Ah, understood." He said with a nervous grin, his hands lifting up defensively.
Every word that dripped from her mouth was nerve wrecking. Her words were as deadly as weapons, and Mot couldn't help but feel intimidated even without her lashing out.

Potions? Well, that actually intrigued him. Perhaps if he could latch onto that interest he could make up some common ground. While he did not know a whole lot about it, he'd read a few books in his day to get the general gist of it. Mot swallowed hard, attempting to gather the will to speak again, so long as he could find his balls, which he was fairly sure the banshee had managed to squish like grapes with her venom like attitude.

"Ah, taking a walk. Without much purpose other than to see if I can survive one. Clearly my time is a lot less valuable than yours." This he said with more snark than he intended. Perhaps rather than shrink into himself as defense he was simply baring his pathetic excuse for fangs. "Do forgive me for startling you. I sometimes forget how adorably timid a ghoul can be."

He was digging himself a hole. A grave. His own. Clearly.

Lady luck was with the boil this morning. As his simple words reached Sarias ears she instead took them as submission, a realisation of his failing as a living being. This pleased her. There was so many reason why she hated so many people, and not knowing where one stood on the food chain was a big one. At least, to her mind, this boil was accepting his place. Beneath her.

"Your right, it is less valuable. I am glad we can agree on something at least." she uttered as she brought out a glass jar, carefully pulling out the cork stopper and dropping the herb inside. She smiled deeply at her little prize, temporarily forgetting her guest as she stared admiringly at it. It was all it took to calm her icy temperature.

"Do not let my searching for herbs mistaken you into thinking I am timid boil." she stated as she dropped the jar back into her bag. More luck it would seem? Mot would do well to just go along with what Sarias had mistaken him to say, ignoring the adorable side. It would do him a world of good.

"I can do so much with this one herb it is almost worth being stuck in this... place." She said it with such hatred it was hard to compare her previous emotion to Mot as anger. This was true loathing. As if a cloud of disgust had been lifted from Mot the ghoul looked back at the Reaper with an air of interest as she waved for him to join her. Her back already turned away as she started to walk deeper into the woods.

"How long have you been here boil? How do you find this quaint establishment?" Her words were laced with ice, as if the wrong answer would make her turn on him in a second. Sadly for the boil there was no way of knowing what the right answer may be.

"And unless you want me to give you a per name I suggest you tell me you given one." She added with a smirk before letting her own be known. "Sarias, Sarias Blacksling. Please refrain from saying it too much though, you will only tarnish it with that voice of yours."

Woah, she was falling for that? Mot blinked, not quite believing this at all for a moment. It could have been a ruse but, Sarias seemed to take his sarcasm as fact.

Well, rather than irritate the ghoul, why not play along? Even if she was a ghost, a ghoul is a ghoul!

Mot smiled to himself, happily joining the banshee on her walk when invited. Despite her obvious issues with anger management, Mot felt this encounter might be amusing. Or perhaps he was a sucker for punishment. "Quaint." He answered with a grin. "A good place to meet others." From the banshee's tone it seemed as if she didn't like it; that didn't mean he was going to lie about his own opinion. "My guess is your thoughts on it differ?"

Oh, he was given the privilege of her name? Charming~. "Mot O'Boyle. It's a pleasure... Sarias." He said with great amusement. Hey, that was just once! He only tarnished it once so far~.

"Mot" she mumbled as if she was almost making sure she heard correctly. Which of course she did. Throwing a smirk over her shoulder she continued into the trees as she raised an eyebrow in question.

"Your parents give up halfway through that name did they, Mot? I can see why when you turned out to be half the reaper they wanted." She added with a sneer looking him up and down with a sorrowful expression, one of pity. But she waved a hand as if that would change the subject completely and instead stood over a small herd of Foxgloves, their dainty but numerous heads waving in the wind.

"Yes Mot, I do have some difference when it comes to this school. I find it...taxing to say the least. I, if your small mind has figured it out, am a Banshee of the highest degree. I am a member of the esteemed Weeping Scarlet's Coven and to be reduced to...to this! Why the disgrace is sickening."
She spat on the flowers as if a bad taste had entered her mouth, her features screwed into a picture of hatred.

"But the laws and rules of this stupid government have deemed it that I, Sarias, a Scarlet Maid, should be subjected to these studies and exams not under my own people...this whole ordeal is - is just...MADDENING!" Her red eyes flashed murder as she kicked the now-spat-on flowers in a state of fury, her whole body tending, shuddering under the weight of her emotion. It was a few moments before the ghoul became aware of herself and saw the crazed ranting spell she had fallen into to. Patting her hair down she turned to the boil and smiled, her breathing returning to normal as she judged him.

"It is a- a subject I am most passionate about, unless you wish to spend all eve her to discuss such matters I advise you entertain me with other such trivial matters." She stopped and gave a harder more forced look over him and content with what she saw continued. "That shouldn't be too hard for you."
PostPosted: Tue Sep 13, 2011 10:43 am

Ouch. This one had many harsh words to dish out. His lips twisted a bit, the comment about his parents and his name cutting a little deeply. Still, this ghoul didn't know him. She only just met him. He wasn't about to let a ghoul get the better of him... well, again.
"Well, you'd all be wrong then." Mot replied haughtily. He was plenty reaper! He was going to be the best of the all! Better than his stuck up mother ad recluse father.
Oh yes, he would turn his nose up at them all.

Ah, another temper tantrum on the rise. He was finding out quickly Sarias was quick to switch moods; from mean to nasty to worse.

Mot stood patiently, a small, smug smile creeping on his lips and waiting out her fits of anger. Oh, he could sympathize if he wanted to. He really could, and perhaps some of his mind was feeling badly for the ghoul with an inferiority complex. He was not at liberty, however, to grant her the pleasure of showing it.

There; yet another jab at his worth. His matters, or anyone's, were trivial in comparison to her own. Oh bother. Somehow Mot's wall was standing firm with the blows the little lady was throwing at him. For now.

"Are you sure you're not giving me too much credit?" Mot asked with a cheeky grin. "I could very well be incredibly boring, living day to day tending to a jar of dirt as a hobby." Mot gasped, raising his hands in exclamation. "Did you want to hear the names I came up with for each grain of sand?" If his snarky grin could get any snarkier, it just did.

She grinned at his reaction to her play on his name. It was almost an addictive high to see the emotions change beneath the eyes of her...victims. Her wisps hungrily ate up the tension as they twisted and flayed like live beast, their silky ice cold tails running over Mot's shoes as she folded her arms across her chest thinking over the hobby he just mentioned. Sadly for Mot...or maybe sadly for Sarias she didn't catch the sarcasm, nor the ridiculous of it all. She was after all convinced he was a low life and who was she to determine what low life's did in their spare time other than get in the way?

"Fraid not, Mot. Although am sure you worked very, very hard on those names. I bet mummy and daddy were so proud of their big smart boil!" Sarias tapped the side of his arm in a warm gesture, yet there was nothing warm about it. She looked almost disgusted with herself for touching him and quickly wiped her hand on her bodice as she started to move away again.

"Other than your...dirt. What else do you do? What classes have you taken? I am soon to be taken my exams something that you...well, you will never see. But don't worry about that. They have special places for beings like you who will fail, full of bright colours and cuddly toys. Now, doesn't that sound nice?"
She spat mockingly as she tasted a nearby tree for sap, her blade digging into the bark with a snap her wrist pushing deep into the solid truck carving out the liquid inside. She looked like she was having way too much fun doing that.

Lucky for Mot, he didn't realized his emotions were being farmed by the wicked banshee he was with. The experience of it, however, was starting to effect his mood.

The reaper sneered at the finger poking his arm, pulling it away from her touch with a huff. Like her, he almost felt dirty from the act.

Even more condescending and belittling words poured from Sarias's lips. If it hadn't been obvious to Mot before, it was now; she was picking on him. Bullying him. The feeling wasn't new, but it had been a long while.

Mot was getting to be rather irritable.

"What is it to you, anyway?" Mot snapped back, his hidden gaze leering down. His voice, normally gentle yet raspy, was now laced with ice and disdain. "I don't give a rats a** if you pass or fail. Upperclassmen or peer, you'll always be garbage to me." He refused to share his interests to one who would simply turn it against him. He'd tried giving her the benefit of the doubt, but Mot's kindness was reserved for those who deserved it.

She was waiting for the gooey liquid to drip out of the bark, her blade sheathed again as she grabbed a glass jar from her bag, her foot tapping impatiently as she waited for it to ooze into the containment. Her other hand though was free to do with as she please and she chose to wave it over her shoulder as the boil vented his frustration at her.

"Tut tut Mot, I dare say your letting your emotions get the better of you!" She added with a small laugh, she was obviously enjoying herself immensely in the presence of the reaper. Anything to get one pissed off was a win in her book.

"I guess I can't expect civilised conversation from one such as yourself. Am surprised you can actually form words let alone grunts and sounds. You reapers never fail to amaze me." She added when capping the jar and staring longingly at its contents. "Tree sap" she mumbled "Can make anything taste normal you know, if used correctly." It was hard to see if the ghoul was talking to Mot or confirming her actions to herself but either way she quickly placed the jar into the confines of her bag and started to move onto the next place.

"Have you finished having your tantrum yet? Or do you feel the need to bore me more?" her words were laced with ice and humour. There was very little that could be done to upset her when she was gathering her...ingredients.
PostPosted: Tue Sep 27, 2011 10:34 am

Sarias was comparing him to something brutish or mindless. Insulting not just him, but his entire race. The reaper's knuckles were white. He was ready to just explode..

But then..

Tanturm..?

Tantrum....

She was... acting.. like... his fury was.... that of a child..

Mot was nearly stunned silent. There were no words. Only rage. But his rage seemed to amuse her greatly. If there was one thing Mot despised, it was falling into someone's trap. Literal or otherwise.
The reaper let out a breath. Sure, it made it more obvious he had been upset, but there was no hiding that fact anyway. She knew it. He wouldn't dance around it.

"Oh, boring?" Mot hummed thoughtfully, picking some dirt from his nails. "That's funny, because when something bores me I simply leave it be or avoid it at all costs. The fact that you haven't tried to get rid of me suggests I'm delightfully entertaining." Or maybe her horrid attitude meant she didn't want him around.
Oops.

Sarias, however, was just plain infuriating. Wait, why was he taking this crap anyway? Was Mot so bored that he would allow himself to be her play ******** this s**t!

"Ah, never mind. I'm obviously a bother to you. I'd best take my leave."

The banshee ghoul had obviously made her mark, that's what she did. That was what she wanted, sought and fought for. And if she had done it, well...there was no reason to keep up this charade any longer. Her body stopped short of a large bush, black leaves and crimson berry's looking ripe and plump as she picked one up with her nails, the red juice trailing down her fingers as she squished them so happily. It would be no wonder she was thinking of the heads of others.

"Thats the first intelligent thing you've said all mornin- actually probably your entire life. Yes Mot, simple-celled Mot, I do want you to leave. Now. You have failed in every aspect to give me a stimulating topic to discuss with you even though i gave you the choice to inform me of the trivial things that happen in your life. Instead due to your Neanderthal brain you took offence at my...honesty and instead made yourself cry. Oh Mot, someone needs to grow some balls."

She walked up to him with the berries still in her hands, some popped and staining her fake flesh others still retaining their shape. She appeared up close to her, almost touching as she lifted her hand, as if offering the fruit seeds to him and without another word, smeared her palm across his jacket.

"Mutated Goji berries, meant to help with intelligence, make sure you lick them all up like a good little boil and come find me when you've grown a pair and a personality, ciao Mot"
Her voice rang clear and meaning as she turned on her heels and made to walk away from him and this dark forest. She had done good today. She was very, very pleased.
PostPosted: Thu Oct 06, 2011 2:50 pm

Sarias had earned her place in Mot's most hated list. She was the only person on that list.
In fact, the list was made just for her.

Honesty? Is that what they call having a piss poor attitude these days? Mentally, Mot was huffing a million and two curses for the ghoul. He was furious. Grow a pair? A personality? Every fiber in his being wanted to tear this ghoul's smug face apart.
For Mot, that was something he never thought he'd feel as far as ghouls go. Even ghost ghouls.

And then she took it a step further, smearing that berry slime over his jacket. It took a lot of resilience not to choke a b***h right then and there. Mot was seething.

The boil wordlessly turned, heading out of the wooded area. He walked calmly, with even steps all the way back to the Reaper dorms.

When he arrived? He screamed his lungs out. Every curse in the dictionary was shot from his mouth in a short amount of time. He kicked in the door to the dorms, stomped his way to his bedroom, slammed the door, and began kicking every heavy object in his room for a good hour.
