********* usually didn't get to spend this much time in this form. On Earth, it was a hazard to be walking about as a cat-earred girl, due to the ever constant presence of the Negaverse. To any powered individuals in the Surrounding, they'd be able to feel her energy pretty easily.
To the nearly 60 individuals who had inexplicably arrived out in space, they probably did not sense a thing.
Deciding to use this time wisely, she couldn't help but do a few things she had been itching to do for the longest time. A feline's body could only do so many things, though it could be handy from time to time as well. There were advantages to both forms, but sometimes she wished that the opposable thumbs came in cat-form.
To the unsuspecting, it might have seemed as if the guardian was merely a girl, since she had no tail and she wore a hat which obscured her feline ears a bit. Yet, as of now, ********* had decided to ease her way into doing the splits. She was about 3/4 the way down, her legs spread wide upon the ground as she drew closer and closer to having her rump sitting right on down. Her legs felt as if they were burning a bit, probably a sign that she should have stretched before attempting this. Oh well, it wasn't something she was going to dwell on at the moment.

Kestrel had been feeling so much like herself recently she had started to help out around the outpost. Part of her thought of moving to another one but the idea of always being healthy seemed to ride quite well with her. She was on her way to find something to do when she saw a girl doing the splits.
"That looks painful!" Then again the girl was in what looked to be a circus outfit.
"Were you like in the circus before we were all zapped here?" She was curious, after all Kes worked in the public eye, just flying birds and not really performing herself. When one was outdone by a bird no matter what they did... it was just easier to sit back and let the raptors fly!
"I haven't seen you about, I am Kestrel but call me Kes by all means!" She never had anyone call her Kestrel not unless they were pretty close to her in some way.

Her ears perked up slightly taller, though it was still quite difficult to tell with how the hat lay upon her head. Never being the sort who was afraid of a conversation, the silvery-haired girl turned to face the other girl. She was no doubt one of the many civilians that had been brought out to the Surrounding. "This really isn't too bad. I've done this before... though I should have probably done a bit of stretching." She wiggled her toes a bit, as if checking something. "Yup... if I had stretched, my toes wouldn't be nearly so stiff right now..."
With that, she continued to make her descent until she had managed to touch the ground. Once she was down, she leaned forward, resting her head upon her hands. "I do not believe I was at a circus prior to this... I do believe I was at a fountain. Though, the circus is quite a fun little place from what I've seen! It would have been more fun to be at the circus. Alas... no, I was just with one of my girls by a fountain."
Her toes wiggled again, experimentally. "Nope... still stiff... oh well." There was a pause and then soon enough a friendly smile was being shown in Kestrel's direction. "Kestrel is a lovely name. Do you prefer Kes or Kestrel, because I can go either way on that. My name is *********>

She hadn't been at a circus but at a fountain? Okay... she dressed like that all the time then? She just smiled and nodded at that. Each person likes their own thing after all...
"Oh okay... maybe you should stretch when you get back up?" After all you are suppose to stretch before and after! Though she was still a little confused as to how someone who was so flexible and dressed in a circus outfit wasn't in the outfit. It didn't really make much sense.
"Oh erm, call me Kes. It's nice to meet you *********." Interesting name. *********, she hadn't heard that before!
"So what do you normally do then when not taken to space against our will?" She had to continue the conversation somehow right?

"Then Kes it shall be!" She pushed her upper body back into sitting, and almost like a pair of scissors that had been opened too wide, she quickly seemed to snap her legs back shut into normal scissors position. As if she was taking this girl's advice seriously, she then leaned forward again, arms outstretched. For supposedly being stiff, she was able to reach beyond her toes.
"Let's see... what do I do when I am not in space...hmmmm..." It wasn't as if ********* had been taken against her will, so she left that trivial part out of her statement.
"I tend to wander around when I am back on Earth...try to help out where I can. Nothing too special I suppose. And what about you Kes? Perhaps you have a job or a hobby that occupies your time?"
Seeming satisfied with her stretching, she then leaned back into sitting upright, then moved to stand up. What to do next...?

Kes just raised her eyebrows a little while watching *********. What a strange girl! Also she seemed a little too relaxed with well everything. Sure most people had started to relax now what with being in space a while and what not but she seemed too relaxed. Maybe she hadn't been at the talk where that senshi was going on about sacrificing people.
"Do you not have a job?" This girl just wandered about? Well she was sounding odder by the moment.
"I don't have a job as such... I fly raptors though." Which was a job but she never saw it as one as she enjoyed it so much. "I go to college most of the time though." She wasn't sure why though she didn't want to do anything but fly the birds and she was doing that already.

"I do not have an occupation that I get paid for... but I do my life's work from day to day... which I suspect is more rewarding." The way this silvery haired girl responded almost seemed as if she was dodging the question.
Quite suddenly, she leaned forward, planting her hands on the ground. She kept her head upright so she could double check behind her if anybody was coming, and when the coast was most definitely clear, she lifted up one leg, then the other. Her skirt drooped down slightly to reveal that she had a pair of white booty shorts clinging to her body underneath the skirt.
"There we go!" Apparently ********* was now standing on her hands, keeping her head for the moment upright. Glancing to Kes once more, she had to ask "...I am quite certain this will seem like a silly question, but raptors... like the dinosaurs? Or what other sorts of raptors are there?"

Kestrel was finding this answer dodging a little annoying, so the girl was secretive, she couldn't blame her. For all they knew there were mass murderers up here with them.
She watched the girl do a handstand and just smiled and shook her head. It seemed she was relaxed to be up here even if she did dodge the questions.
"Dinosaurs? Really?" She couldn't help but laugh but then hey anything could be possible when you are in space.
"Birds! Like owls, hawks, eagles, vultures... those raptors." She thought that was common sense but then maybe not.
"I take them out hunting, the hawks mostly but the others we fly and exercise." She shrugged, it was a normal thing for her, it kept her out of trouble being with the raptors.

"Oh... those are raptors?" the silvery haired girl asked in a genuinely curious manner. "I always called those bird of prey... well I'll be! Learn something new everyday, right?" She chuckled a bit, wondering why those birds got called raptors when certain dinosaurs were called that as well. All she knew is there weren't exactly too many owls, hawks, eagles, or vultures looming about in the city, but if there were, those would be birds to avoid. A small round animal like a manx cat probably looked like a tasty treat to such birds.
"...speaking of exercise... I need some... so please bear with me!" With a small laugh, she then allow her head to drift to a more traditional upside down position as she began to walk on her hands. Nothing seemed wrong about it until her hat fell off with a loud hollow PLUNK against the ground. Now that the hat was no longer on her head, her two pale cat-like ears were no longer being obscured from view. Though it was probably something brand new for Kestrel, the guardian continued to walk forward, one hand at a time.

Kestrel had thought that to be obvious but apparently not. Still she let the girl seem surprised without saying anything and then watched as her hat fell off.
She stepped back a little and just stared at the girl who seemed to have eats coming out of her head.
"Why do you wear cat ears headband underneath your hat?" Seemed a bit stupid to Kestrel but it wasn't as stupid as a cat-human existing and so she just went with it. Seemed safer to go with it then to just let her mind wander. Cat ears headbands... whatever next? She was sure everyone in space was going insane.

The ears, as if trying to prove the accusation wrong, turned slightly as the other girl's voice spoke up. Once they seemed to hear what they needed to, they went back to facing their proper direction.
"I assure you I don't wear such a thing under my hat. However, you are the second one to think such in all honesty... there was the girl in the infirmary who seemed to think such as well... but she wasn't fully there due to the injury she had to tend to."
Since the accusation had been made, the upside-down girl was now rounding an invisible corner so she could turn back to facing towards Kes. She began to make her way back towards the starting point again, but before she was able to reach the girl, she commented "If you want, you can touch them... I just request you don't try to pull them off.... it really hurts when people do that."
