Things were getting stressful.
Riyo had asked herself whether there was ever a point where they hadn't bee, and while the answer was still 'no', it was still.. A bit overwhelming. So much work. So much school. So many people bothering the hell out of her!
Moreover, the FEAR thing bothered her, and professor Malcom's final words for the class had reinforced the inadequate feeling. Jericho had been in that class, right? It seemed like he was in all her classes, so all the 'Hey Jericho's sorta blurred together. Either way, he was second year. Maybe he would be able to help her out with that problem, at least. She didn't expect he could do too much about the stress thing, and why should he have to? The dragon already did more than his fair share of things for her. It made her feel bad every time she approached him with something...
Trotting up to the door the feline had become familiar with, she twiddled her fingers before balling up a fist to knock. Momentarily, the ghoul hesitated just a centimeter above the wood. Was she relying on him too much? Would he get sick of seeing her?
Well, she'd come all this way for a reason. Might as well not stand there like an idiot while passer's-by wondered what she was doing. Finally, the ghoul managed to rap on the door loud enough to be heard, patiently waiting for Jericho to respond.

That last class put a little bit of a bitter taste in the dragon's mouth but he did his best to not dwell on it. Malcom had a very valid point in what he said but that didn't stop him from feeling a little dejected about the results and whatnot. So he did one of the things that usually helped him settle down, which was to game hard.
He almost didn't hear the knocking at his door thanks to how focused he was on trying to beat the level he was playing.
Blinking, he turned towards the door and made his way over, wondering who could be stopping by today.
"Oh hey Riyo, what's up?" he greeted once he saw the feline demon standing there.

"Hey." She immediately replied as her hands retreated to her pockets. "Uh. I hope I'm not bothering anything. I just... Wanted to talk to you about something." She became more and more unsure of herself the longer they stood there, so might as well hurry up and speak her mind.
"But I could always come back another time if you're busy." It wasn't like she'd called him beforehand or made arrangements for this, so it couldn't be helped if the boil was preoccupied.

Stepping back to let her in, Jericho nodded, casting a brief glance to his console. Beating that level could wait for now, especially since this sounded like Riyo had something serious in mind.
"Yeah, sure thing. I'm just playing some games right no so no big deal," he said.

"Games? Oh, yeah." That happened last time she'd knocked on his door, hadn't it? He had been playing some weird game with guns...
Taking a few steps in, Riyo glanced around the dragon's dorm room before opening her mouth to speak again. "See, I saw you in the minipet class and I wanted to ask you about-"
The ghoul paused as she noticed an odd device on the floor. "W-what's that?" Riyo asked as she pointed to one of his controllers. What an odd looking little machine.

Blinking at Riyo as she got distracted from his question, Jericho turned to see what she was confused about. Oh. She was looking at his controller it looked like.
"Er... that's the controller for the ps3," he blinked.
Did she not know what the consoles looked like?

... A controller?
... What was a controller? Moreover, "What's a PS3?" The look of blank on her face reenforced the idea that she wasn't kidding around. Now she was curious. Is that what he played his 'games' on?

Jericho stared at Riyo for a few moments. With Levi, he could understand since she was from the countryside without a whole lot of tech. But... Riyo wasn't as far as he knew. She worked in a business and fancy stuff like that. Surely she was kidding.. right?
That blank look suggested that she wasn't.
"It's one of the gaming systems," He said, a little befuddled by her apparent ignorance on the subject, "Have.. you not seen or heard of them before?"

Ears falling back at the look Jericho gave her, she suddenly felt embarrassed for her questions. "Well... I..." she started, nervously reaching up for a stray strand of blonde hair to fiddle with. "I've never had time for those kinds of things.. And I don't watch SkeeV, so..." ... So she was out of the loop to the point where it was almost painful, but it wasn't just videogames. Riyo was out of the loop on most recreational activities her classmates might've enjoyed. She didn't go to concerts, or movies, and only went to the maul when she needed something. The ghoul was a shut-in in every sense of the word!
"S-sorry..." Oh boy. And here came the awkward.

Hm. It was one thing to chose not to indulge into these sorts of things but it was another if she outright couldn't. Frowning at that thought, Jericho looked over towards his skeeV and consoles.
"No, don't apologize," he started, thinking things over, "Though, since things are a bit different now, would you want to play if given the chance?"

As Jericho glanced towards his SkeeV, Riyo's red eyes followed his. This being a teenager s**t... Wasn't very easy for her, surprisingly.
"Eh... Would I?" The feline repeated, raising an eyebrow. Well, honestly she had better things to do than play silly virtual games and loaf around, plus- "... Yes."
Wait, what?
"I think that would be nice..." She mumbled and glanced at the ground. It was an impulsive decision. Something that took her a moment to fully process, because honestly she didn't understand why it had come out of her mouth that fast. The feline had things to do. She had only journeyed over here to talk to Jericho about FEAR, and yet...
She would've beaten herself up on the inside for missing one of the few opportunities to feel like a child again without feeling stupid. "Would that be alright?" Finally looking back up at the dragon, Riyo looked like a big-eyed kitty who was denied a bowl of food. It felt like she was intruding, but at the same time some pointless activity was probably what she needed most right now.

Grinning at that answer, Jericho made his way towards where his SkeeV was stationed and motioned towards the girl.
"Alright. Now... do you think you'd like to play a racing game? Or maybe a fighter?" he asked, while thinking of a couple different multiplayer games they could play. Scario Kart might not be too bad for a beginner to games. And some fighters were fairly forgiving.

"Racing? Fighter?" Uhhh... UHHHH... Well, it sounded simple enough. Riyo didn't know what they'd be racing, but fighter sounded more fun anyways. "Do you punch things in fighters?" Ever since that night they had gone out to eat, the thought of punching someone again excited Riyo. It felt so gratifying when some douchebag fell at your hand. She wanted to do that again.
"If so I like that idea better."

"well.. Yes. Punching. Kicking. A couple other things," Jericho nodded before picking up his controller to exit out of the current game. Thinking about it for a moment, he decided to swap out the consoles, switching to his Eii so he could pop in Brawl.
Once that was set up, he offered Riyo one of the controllers then set up the game. As he did so, he gave her a rundown on how to play, hoping that he had made things pretty easy to understand.

Ah, well then this may very well be fun!
Gently taking the controller from Jericho's hand, Riyo immediately went about examining it. She seemed fascinated with how many different buttons it had, the different shapes, textures, labels, and overall composition. "This is so weird... In a good way." Riyo mumbled as she stared at the screen, adding the last part so she didn't sound rude.
The feline nodded slowly as Jericho explained the game, her red eyes widening at the character select screen. Look at all the different little people! "So I can choose any of these to fight with?" Riyo asked as her cursor seemed to float towards the oddly colored rabbit cat thing. It was... Adorable.
