Oh man, I hate seeing this DDD8 I love hearing that my noodles look nice or that I have an interesting idea for a plot, but it’s kinda meaningless without an offer. So please do offer?
I’d like to offer for [blank], but I’ll bet you have a lot of offers.
Another really common one. I’ll put this in red to make it clear: Your biggest rival for any one of the noodles in this plot journal is probably one of the other noodles in this journal. If a noodle can’t find a mate, I may simply give in to the temptation to mate them with one of my own.
Also, most of my prettiest noodles have never, ever had an offer precisely because of this attitude. So please, please, PLEASE offer? D8
I’d like to offer, but I don’t have anyone that fits the requirement.
I’m trying to n** this one in the bud by changing the format. Basically, anything under “absolutes” is an absolute. Anything under “would be nice” is just something I would kinda like to see, but am willing to forgo if the perfect noodle doesn’t have that trait.
I don’t have anyone of the opposite gender to offer to [blank].
All noodles are bi unless specifically stated otherwise.
Hey! I thought our noodles were mated—what gives?
It may not be official yet in my mind. So if our noodles seemed to be hitting it off well, that does not necessarily mean that they are mated. I don’t consider a couple official until they’ve shown affection and/or are on the official lifemates list.
What do the various categories mean?
The various categories refer to the noodle’s status and what they’re looking for.
1: Noodles who have been offered mates and are currently in plots (or about to be), but are not official yet.
2: Noodles up only for ONS.
3: Noodles with official lifemates that are open for general RP. Just because a noodle is not on this list does not mean they are not open for RP. These are just a few that I think could get the most mileage, or, alternatively, need more RP.
4: Noodles who used to have lifemates but whose lifemates have disappeared or otherwise not here. Consider them to be the “divorcee” noodles. They require more RP to encourage them to give up their old attachments in favor of new ones.
5: Noodles for whom I have specific plots in mind.
6: Bowls and kits, here for future reference.
7: Noodles who simply need romance, usually lifemates.
Why is the noodle I offered to in Category 7 and not Category 1? Or in Category 1 and not Category 3?
Ummmmmmmmmm…that has to do with my definition of official again? Generally speaking, a noodle moves to category 1 if we have a set plan in mind. So “I think these two would work well together” would not move to this category, but “my noodle is going to have an ONS, then after that, maybe our two noodles could meet at a party and slowly fall in love” would get them moved. For the other one, see an earlier question.

You mean friend RPs instead of mate RPs? Sure! If you have a specific complicated plot in mind that could be fulfilled by my noodle, um…you can ask, but that doesn’t guarantee that I’ll accept?

That is, Macaw is hoping that if he has a female mate, he can "regain" his heterosexuality and no one will be the wiser. This one will be a female. He should be able to get along with her--after all, he's hoping that if he stays with her long enough, he'll fall in love with her (won't happen). He'll pretend to love her and do all sorts of things for her, but he won't actually be in love. 2. A "vice." That's what he'll tell himself. A male whom he falls in love with (and loves him back) that he thinks he can't be with because damnit, Macaw's not the homosexual in the family! He'll be having an affair with this male behind the female's back (and he'll probably be open about the fact that he has a "mate" to the male). 3. The Reveal: After a breeding with the female noodle, Macaw's secret is revealed. Insert exactly as much drama as the female's personality demands. End result is that Macaw ends up lifemated with the male, quite possibly with a permanent enemy in the form of the female (though that's up to you, not me).
