I've seen lots of females putting "I'm # weeks gone and craving *insert a food*" What's that all about?! I have a feeling it's a cancer awareness thing again but I don't have a clue, anyone know? =/

Its supposed to raise awareness about something, but whenever I see it I'm just like, "Lots of people becoming preggers"

I know this might sound mean, but those "raise awareness" things do nothing.
Don't get me wrong, I volunteer at a Cancer research center/hospital, but posting things on FB does absolutely nothing for the cause. If you feel so strongly, acts not "status updates" are what make the difference.

I never re-post the crap on FB, it's just chain mail but people do it more because it's for a good cause and not because their afraid that their soul mate won't find them in 3 days rolleyes

I totally agree that it won't help though, sure it causes people to become aware of it, but it's not going to help that much unless they get off their a** and do something.
