Noah was not a happy camper. Not one bit. Yes, he had an important meeting about expanding his business coming up and it probably wasn't the best idea to show up in a t-shirt and work boots, but damn it, he was comfortable this way.

His fashionista and businesswoman sister would not stand for this bullshit, though, and was dragging him through the downtown parking lot until they found themselves both staring at the storefront of Phina Fiona's.

"I've heard awesome things about this place," Zia gushed.

Noah just stood there, defiantly unshaven and in his concrete dusted construction clothes from working on his diner's damaged outer building. He crossed his arms with a childish little 'hrmph', but he couldn't brood for long.

Zia had grabbed his arm and pulled him in the boutique, but he pulled back and complained. "Look, I'll just go find a suit or something..."

"From where?"

"From the... um... the suit... place."

"You don't even know where they sell appropriate suits!" Zia seemed inordinately appalled as she threw her hands in the air and then started pulling him around again. "Look, you have to be presentable if you want anyone to have any respect for you. Excuse me!" That last bit was called out, hoping an employee was around. "Can we get some help here?" She was not dragging a pouty Noah up and down the display racks but in her experience, there was usually someone to make suggestions and give helpful critique in these nicer places.

Phina heard the call for assistance and came out from behind the counter giving instruction to one of her worker to run the register, making sure they logged themselves on first before walking off.

"I'll be right there," she called as she navigated her way past the women's jewelry, which was currently being reworked, and headed toward the front of the store. Of course what she saw stopped her dead in her tracks. Her expression read a little less than pleased, but she pushed it away and headed over to the pair, one of which who was a little less presentable than she really cared for, even if he had a nice face.

Phina, pushed that thought away to, be professional she told herself, no eyeing the customers. "Hello," she started a friend welcome a smile coming upon her face as she held her hand out to Zia, "Welcome to Phina Fiona's. I'm Seraphina, the owner." She looked to Noah, "what may I help you with today."

Her look said very clearly that he wouldn't be leaving her store in what her currently wore if she had anything to say about it. Earlier thought be damned she planned to charm him out of 'that' and into anything else.

Zia took Seraphina's hand and gave it a dainty shake of a gesture before dropping it and taking a step away from her brother, almost to Phina's 'side' so to speak. "He has a business meeting with his investors," She explained. "He needs... to inspire confidence."

Noah wasn't especially fond of the pair of eyes staring him down, but he tried to look nonchalant rather than like he was getting the feeling they'd rip him limb from limb. He casually scratched at his unshaven face and dropped his hand to his side, making a dust cloud of concrete and wood dust fly out into the air from his shredded jeans.

"I was just at work," He said, clearing his throat. He did feel self conscious, which wasn't a welcome change from his usual 'this is how I am and I don't give a ********' demeanor he had in his natural habitat. But he felt out of place here, like his kind wasn't welcome, and the fact he was being stared down by two stylish women who considered him a 'project' didn't help.

Seraphina quickly tried school her slightly horrified expression at the dust cloud that came off the jeans. She blinked once and tried not to shake her head at the man. "Don't worry," she told the young lady. "I can fix him up. Its not often I am unable to come up with a new look."

She gave him the once over, but found herself wishing he hadn't just come from work as he just stated. She wasn't to fond of the idea that he would try on anything when he was currently wearing dust covered clothing. The dust was bond to be elsewhere.

She turned to the man and took on a determined expression. "In order to help you there a just a few things I need to know. Clothing wise, loose or fitting? How do you feel about buttons? Snaps? Zippers? Do you own a tie? Colors, yes? Any favorites?"

It was a bit much probably, but mostly yes or no answers would suffice.

Noah's mouth opened and struggled to find words. Or air. After a few stammering syllables cut short he cringed and strained to answer at least one thing. "I... Eyah... don't have a tie?"

Zia remained unfazed. "Buttons would look most professional, hidden zippers if you have them. Neutral and earthy tones. Fitted. He has to at least look like he's enough of a good businessman to know a good tailor."

"I like t-shirts," Noah said, mostly just to be a sarcastic snot as the two women went over the possible anatomy of his new outfit. Zia shot him a look, but just got a dorkish grin instead of any kind of retaliation. Noah wasn't exactly the retaliation or cowarding sort, which frustrated the bossy girl to no end.

"I'm thinking a suit. The full formal works. And maybe something less dressy but still distinguished. Like a vest ensemble!" Shopping was one of Zia's few joys in life.

Seraphine gave a small soft laugh and a light smirk at the answer giving to her and even more so at the girl stepping forward to take control of the situation. The girl was someone Seraphina could definitely appreciate. She nodded at the girl and try not to laugh at the silly interactions between the two.

"Well," she started, " we don't exactly carry full suits often, but we definitely have things that will meet your needs quite nicely. Nice button downs, ties, slacks, belts, and vest to be put together nicely."

She started over the section of her boutique that held the clothes they would be needing motioning for the pair to follow her, "everything is right over here."

She turned and looked to Noah whom along with the girl sported a purple colored hair. Destiny City and its hair, she'd seen all the colors of the rainbow on several girls and boys.

"Neutral and earthy tones, was what you wanting," she said looking back to Zia.

Turning she headed for a few shirt stopping and eyeing Noah up to judge appropriate sizing before shifting through a few medium violet shirts though she doubted the guy would know the difference between violet grey and plain grey it was very subtle.

"And a sport jacket," Zia mused as Phina went over the combination, and tried to resist turning her nose up at the fact this establishment didn't care a proper suit, not Italian, not any sort. But she resisted reacting, needing to remind herself that Noah, estranged from their father the family bank, considered this place splurging, much less the sort of place you picked a suit and spoke with a tailor.

"Oh, yes!" She jumped a bit and clasped her hands under her chin when Phina produced a grayish color and scuttled about to change her angle so she was looking at it from roughly the same position Phina was.

Noah was trying to be none-reactive but it was embarrassing! Not that he particularly cared about embarrassing, but he was in the presence of a hot woman in his age group and that made the objectification a bit harder to tolerate or ignore.

Eventually entire outfits were pieced together and Zia judged them with expert critique before she finally grabbed a set and tossed them at Noah. "Go go go try them on!" Why wasn't he doing this on his own?!

Because he didn't get off on make sure everyone was paying attention to him like his sister did. And so he grudgingly obliged, but needing plenty of shoving.

"It's too tight!" He complained from the dressing room. But his emergence showed it fit just right. Then again, living your life in baggy jeans and t-shirts, fitting dress clothes could be a bit of a constricting change. Zia squealed and grabbed a random fedora hat from a display to plop on his head, mostly just to indulge in her need to finish up her dress up ensemble.

"I look like the Lorax," He complained, entirely deadpan.

"I think that's the Once-Ler. And he wears a bowler hat. And doesn't have nearly the color depth," Zia huffed, adjusting the collar on the shirt as she gushed about the gray going with his lilac hair.

Phina laughed and quite enjoyed the time spent picking out clothing for the man that waited, doing, well nothing. Which was often the case when a man was being shopped for.

All to soon they came to Phina's favorite part, but she properly contained her excitement as was expected of someone of her age and stature. Still she allowed herself a small grin, ignoring completely the concrete dust, she swore came in contact with her boutiques clothing.

When Noah stepped out all dress up, Phina gave him an appreciate twice over and with the addition of the hat she gave a short, light, applause.

"Bravo," she said coming forward, "you looking simply splendid. You clean up very well. I am sure your business meeting will go very well and dare I say you may want to watch out. You will have the ladies falling all over themselves to look at you."

She looked to Zia and gave a small smile before looking back to Noah. "I do believe, however, that you have more outfits to try."

Zia didn't catch the 'ladies' part, or if she did, she subconsciously blew it off as a hollow saying from a saleswoman. Noah, however, gave a bit of a crooked grin and eyebrow raise and was about to ask her something suggestive when Zia deposited a pile of more clothes into his arms.

"Go! Go go go go!" She said, excitedly pushing him back into the dressing room before stepping back, bouncing on her toes in excitement and totally oblivious. "Oh this is working wonderfully~" She gushed to Phina while Noah grumbled from behind the closed dressing room door.

Phina had been paying more attention to Noah than Zia now, so she caught the crooked smile and they look as though Noah was about to respond only to be interrupted by Zia which irritated Phina slightly.

She had to say even though she was irritated by the girl at the moment for messy her not so subtle flirting, she had to admit she liked her. She wished she had someone like her in the shop, but at the same time, she didn't think that would be the best thing either. She could see a bit of clashing if something like that we're to happen.

She looked to Zia when she had spoken and nodded with a pleasant smile. Noah had looked nice, Phina had definitely meant it when she said what she said. She looked to Zia, "I be right back I just need to grab something. If you need me, just wave me over, otherwise I will be back in a moment."

Phina moved away over into the men's clothing looking for a few pieces she had seen earlier but had been left on the rack. She pulled those things now forming a outfit she thought would look splendid on Noah and headed up the register. She handed them to the cashier, writing something on a business card, before telling her she knew what to do, "wrapped and bagged" and headed back over to Zia and Noah.

Noah gritted his teeth and trudge through the fashion show until he-- or at least his sister--- was certain they had tested and tried every possible combination of clothes. A few shirts were thrown back for being too tight around this section or too this or that. But in the end, they had accumulated quite the hall.

"Hokay," Noah said wit ha heaving, exhausted sigh, almost too overwhelmed and tired of the place to be perceptive enough to be charming. Not that he was being charming before, but his excuse then was he was irritated, not tired.

"I guess we're checking out...?"

"Yes!" Zia had flounced up to produce a credit card to pick up the tab, not expecting her 'common' brother to be able to afford the extravagance of a new wardrobe.

"Go out to the car, Zee," He half snarled. She shrugged and left the card to go pop the trunk to make room, but once she was gone, Noah slid the card away and pulled out his wallet to count out cash. "How much?" Now he sounded irritated again. He was a business owner, damn it. Just because he was in the 99% didn't mean he couldn't afford his own clothes.

Phina had been amused as she watched all the outfit arrangements that Noah ended up sporting and very happy with all the combinations that worked out. It made her day better to know she'd helped someone obtain a wardrobe worth wearing. Not only that she got to watch between helping customers and she had enjoyed the show.

She laughed at the dynamic of the duo when they made there way to the register and almost laughed at Noah's obvious irritation, but kept her amusement at bay. Noah asked for the total, and the cashier gave it, proceeded with the transaction and heading off to chat with another employee.

Phina smiled at Noah, "before you leave," she started grabbing a bag from behind the counter, "I picked this for you, on me. Its comfortable, but will make you look good enough to eat just the same."

Inside the bag was a boxed and wrapped package with card stuck to the top of it in Phina's neat handwriting. It said, Handsome clothes to match a handsome face, Phina. Her number was written out neatly beneath it.

Someone called her name and she hurried off to tend to another customer, not really worried about a reply from Noah.
