Rasler sighed as he continued to pad down the street slowly. He was soooo not looking forward to tonights events. His parents had him up on a date with some girl he was to marry.

His armor clanked against itself as he walked. Armor. Can you believe that? Who sends their kid on a date in armor of all things. That was his mother for ya though. She was always on some trip about looking like a proper prince. Rasler rolled his eyes, shaking his head to stop is mothers voice from ringing in his ears.

As he rounded the corner he saw that she was already at their destined meeting point. His mother would kill him if she saw this. Slowly, almost reluctantly he padded over. " .... Hello." His eyes flicker towards the attention that was starting to gather around them. "....Perhaps we should retreat inside?"

Stupid Armor. Stupid Armor. He chanted over and over in his head. She probably thinks Im an idiot in this. I dont blame her though. I think Im an idiot in this!! Rasler was grateful when they were seated.

"Ive heard that as well.." He answered, sinking in his seat slightly. The armor creaked and clanked again, Rasler visibly cringed. "Uhm... Sorry.. about the armor. I swear I had something less flashy picked out. Put my mother..." He trailed off, thinking of the gleeful tizzy his mother was in. "....She means well?"

He could tell she was trying her best to be polite and not scowl. That was the princes' first clue that she didnt want to be here anymore then she did. .... Though he did have to admit. She had pretty eyes.

.... Whoa. Where'd that come from?

He shifted awkwardly, which earned him a quiet creek. "So... uh.. I guess we should get to know eachother? .....What are your parents like? Yourself?" Dispite all the planning that had been put into this union. Rasler had actually never met the King and Queen. Whenever he asked about it his father huffed and said that he didnt have to bother with attending.

"O-oh." He said nervously. Though he actually felt slightly better when she giggled.

This awkward silence was driving him nuts though. And making him more uncomfortable then he already was. He jumped slightly when she talked. "....Was there? Do you want me to remove it and take it outside?" He said moving to stand and walk around the table. This caused him to... unceremoniously collide with the waiter, causing food and drink to go flying all over them,.

Rasler blinked, first looking down at himself, then the waiter then at Ashe. Where he froze. Oh god he was gonna die now. He was sure of it. "Uh... Sorry." "Sorry? Sorry?! Thats the only thing you can think of?" He mentally scolded. "Uhm.... Let me help with that.." Rasler didnt look up at her, as he was sure she'd be scowling and glaring down at him.

Rasler blinked a few times when she started laughing. That wasnt the reaction he was expecting. He probably looked awful now, with armor on and soup all over it. ... Now that he thought about it. Hed probably laugh to if he were in her spot.

He rubbed the side of his arm nervously. ".... Thats true.. Are you sure your okay" He looked at the poor waiter. "... I think thats a good idea." He said, leaving money to cover everything on the table.

"...Some date so far huh?" He said sheepishly. "What would you like to do now? I know where theres a park near by. Its got a little river running by it. Its really nice."

He blushed when she giggled at his squeaking armor. Rasler led her towards the park. As they padded around the park Rasler noticed that there were a few couples walking around. Looking out of the corner of his eye he watched Ashe. She was definitely pretty.. He felt bad for spilling their dinner all over her. The male was dragged from his thoughts as a young gladier with a flower basket ran up to them. "Flower for your girlfriend?" It asked. The blush came rushing back to his face full force. "Uh... Sure." The young gladier handed him the flower then scampered off after Rasler paid for it. ".... Here." He said, holding the flower out, still blushing madly. "For you."

Soon after that they found themselves sitting on the bank to the river in silence again. Rasler felt nervous.. and he couldnt quiet figure out why. He didnt feel nervous about the date per say... It was something else. The sun was starting to set so things where starting to get cooler. A gust of wind blew past them. Without thinking, or even asking, Rasler unclasped the cape from around his neck and placed it around her shoulders gently. "...Incase you feel cold..."

"It does, though some times I wish it didn't." He said, tugging at the collar.

The sun was starting to set. It sent vibrant hues or reds, oranges, and purples across the sky. It looked absolutely stunning against the water. They sat and watched until it was over and the stars were out. Rasler felt much more at easy then he did when they first arrived at the park.

This was the time of day Rasler liked best. Everything looked different around dusk. Fireflies blinking about and crickets where starting to play their msuic. "Well...The days over. I should get you home huh?"
