Although most of the cooking was being done over at the Leo Outpost, likely because of the massive dining rooms (which she hadn't yet gone to investigate) apparently it didn't mean that Leo was the Zodiac Mess Hall... since apparently even Chronos had a kitchen, located on the first floor.

Tired, stiff, and hungry from helping move rocks with Chronos and a collection of others, Holi had, instead of heading for a cot and collapsing, as tempting as it was, decided to stoke the inner fires with a little food, and make sure it was ready for anyone else who happened to need a bowl. If you could call opening and heating Spaghetti-O's food anyway. It was something at least. Mostly it was quick, hot, and palatable, and that was about all she cared about right at this particular moment, food wise.

She left what she wasn't going to be able to eat simmering on just enough heat to stay warm, once she sorted out how, and leaned on wall to eat without ceremony.

"Here's to not being digested by a space whale." She added, to no one in particular.

"You know. I'm not sure i'd call that much better." She'd come to get something to smack on for her and her friends when she'd noticed someone else was in the kitchen. So much for sneaking off without getting caught.

The girl looked familer though. She must have been one of the ones stuck with the cat near the Aquarius outpost. Jocelin thought she might have remembered wanting to deck the girl for smarting off to the cat.

" .... you haven't seen anything else have you? Or is microwave sudo-food all we've got?"

"I see a lot of canned goods and stuff, but I guess that's kinda to be expected... or something. I guess I should have looked for rice or something, but I'm too damn tired to be fussy." She sighed, with a half smile. "Which is mostly my fault. We were moving rocks and I probably did too many... but it was nice to DO something, you know? I mean normally it's not my thing, but it was..."

She debated her next words, prodding the dish she was eating out of with her fork.

"It was nice to do something that didn't involve trying to rationalize all this crazy stuff."

She admitted. Although she didn't know how close she'd come to being punched out while stressed, bleeding, broken and dislocated, she'd been as surprised as anyone when Zue had actually backed down and even shown a bit more respect for everyone when she'd handed him his attitude right back. Some people were just like that. Go figure a guy who was part cat would be one of them. In it's own weird way it did make sense... if you sidestepped the fact that there was a guy who was part cat. Which also, in the grand scheme of all this stuff, was one of the more minor things to wrap your head around.

"Anyway dinner courses aren't my forte. Hand me some candy making supplies and I'll have everyone thinking we're at the Ritz, but hand me a steak? ....Pray for the steak."

"Bleh..." She really didn't want canned food at all. She wanted -real- food. After all the crap everyone had gone though they deserved a twelve course meal served by half naked pretty-boys. "Is it too much to ask that if all these magic aliens can keep us alive in ******** -space- that they could get us some real food?"

Slumping slightly she walked over to poke around in the cans. "I don't even know where to begin with all this ..." She waved a hand behind her in the general direction of 'outside'. "It's ... it shouldn't be possible and yet here we are. I still half think i'm going to wake up back home and find out i knocked over a can of paint stripper and got completely high off the stuff."

At least that made more sense than being attacked and eaten by a giant space whale and walking around on a rainbow in outer space

Holi raised an eyebrow slightly at the comment, and took another bite of her Spaghetti-o's. "Could be worse, I think there's some soup and stuff in there too if you really can't stand smushy pasta. At least it's normal I guess. Not 'magical space ambrosia' or whatever the hell."

The whole assortment of food kind of reminded her of some kind of chaotic potluck version of people doing a food drive. For magic aliens that too was... strangely... human. Like the familiarity of the Spaghetti-o's, the whole feel of it had become strangely reassuring.

"At least you can blame the paint thinner." She pointed out. "'I've never heard of someone getting high and passing out over chocolate fumes... and our stove is electric."

Getting high off chocolate fumes... man that would be some strange trip. Maybe even stranger than this.

"Could be electrocution then. I'd bet that could cause issues in your brain." Not that being electrocuted was any better than this. "But .... would beg to wonder how we're both having the same hallicination."

Shaking her head she poked around and finally pulled out a box of crackers and some peanutbutter shed' found. "What i wouldn't kill for a pizza right about now."

She flopped down and cracked open the crackers and peanut butter before dipping one in the other and taking a bite. She would probably regret it once she couldn't talk cause her tongue was welded somewhere but whatever, it was better than soup.

"I'd kill for an internet hook up, I could see if you can hallucinate while electrocuted." Holi sighed, though she thought the whole idea was, at this point, a bit of a desperate stretch. She'd never had a dream where she'd broken bones, or dislocated things. In dreams she always seemed to sort of vaguely bounce, if something dire happened, the idea of injury sort of fuzzily hand waved by the brain.

"Anyway we could go on for days arguing who was and wasn't a dream."

Mm. Peanut butter didn't look half bad, but she'd have gone for a sandwich herself. Maybe once she finished the Sphagetti-o's, which she'd concluded she needed to finish before moving along. At a certain point you got to play your own 'tough parent' in life and argue yourself out of eating ice cream for dinner, no matter how tempting it was.

Peanut butter sandwich and a big glass of cold milk... *sigh*

"Pizza might be good... unless my uncle ordered it. I think it would take a year or two of eating space food before I had any cravings for an Anchovy, onion and Feta Pizza."
