She'd left Amy and Regina to sit and babble for a while so she could get some piece and let her arm heal. She was pretty sure this is exactly what having children was like. Constantly worrying and trying to keep track of everyone while still looking after yourself, yea never again. At least for the moment they were both safe and could entertain themselves.
Flopping down on a bench near the pool and looked down at the water. Thanks to staying here her lip had stopped bleeding and didn't tear open anymore every time she spoke. Her arm still hurt like hell though. She would probably have to come back for a few more days to just chill for a while if she wanted it fixed.
"... god what i wouldn't give for my art supplies." Even if she probably couldn't' use half of them with a bum arm.

Fritz was wandering again.
(He was finding that he did this quite a lot, lately.)
Outside of Virgo's outpost there were glistening, crystal clear pools of water that seemed to beckon people towards them, beg for someone to just stick a toe in, or even leap in completely and splash the glittering droplets of water across the damp green grass and rocks surrounding them.
After two days of being at this place already, Fritz was starting to wonder why he had never before done any of those things.
Ambling around outside, barefoot as he always was (since he still had not managed to find a decent pair of shoes - the regret of having pelted them at the giant space whale thing was definitely beginning to rise), Fritz slipped his hands into his pockets and meandered towards the nearest pool, whistling softly to himself.
He wasn't alone, however - there was someone seated on a white marble bench just beside the pool, a young woman that he had not seen before. She seemed to be completely lost in thought, and Fritz was about to tiptoe away when he heard her speak.
"... god what i wouldn't give for my art supplies."
...art supplies?
He made a beeline towards her.
"Hi," said Fritz cheerfully as he stepped over to the girl, lifting a hand in greeting. "Mind if I join you?"

She looked up when she heard someone talking to her and raised a brow. "No, i guess not." She didn't want to admit that she felt lonely but with Amy and Regina off somewhere else she did feel a bit alone. Not to mention the nervousness that the two of them would get themselves hurt again.
"So let me guess ... you were going about your day and them bam, space whale?" He didn't look like one of the weirdly dressed aliens so odds were he was one of the normal people stuck here like her.

Any person that mentioned art supplies was a friend of Fritz's. He accepted her answer graciously and sat down beside the girl, swinging his legs back and forth beneath the bench.
"That's about right, yes," he answered with a small laugh, shaking his head. "I was in the middle of getting dressed, if I'm to be completely honest. Still had my shirt over my head and then wham, suddenly I'm in outer space and getting attacked by a giant man eating whale that could rival Godzilla."
As always, when he remembered how he had gotten here, Fritz's thoughts drifted to his brother. Tolliver was the one person he relied on more than anyone; the rock to his uneven, unchartable waves. He supposed it was a little pathetic, having such a brother complex, especially seeing as how he got along just fine with his parents. However, when everything else with the world was confusing, a giant mess, his twin was the one thing that remained the same.
And now he had no idea of knowing what had happened. Fritz gave a small sigh, but then he turned to look at the girl beside him.
"What about you?" he asked her. "What were you doing before you arrived here?"

She leaned back on her hands, glad that her arm felt better and she wasn't going to be stuck horribly injured the whole time, and thought about what he was saying.
"I was working on a ring ... i work with metal for a hobby and i was trying to carve a design when. Well i guess i passed out and now i'm here." She sighed and looked over at Fritz. "I keep wanting to tell myself that i got high on paint stripper fumes or something but it's kinda hard with so many other people here too.
Reaching up she ran a hand though her hair. "My parents are probably going insane. Who knows how long we've actually been here. What if time where ever this is passes differently than at home? I mean the planets spin at different times." That was something else she needed to never mention to Regina. Time Travle.

"A ring?"
Fritz's eyebrows rose with interest. Metalwork was always something that he had an appreciation for, but he had never seemed to be able to master the art of it. Something about the metal and the machinery, plus Fritz, had never quite worked well, so he had a deep respect for those who could pull it off.
"That's really cool; what do you do with the rings once you finished?" he asked curiously, but then his face relaxed into a sympathetic smile, a small, quiet laugh escaping.
"Yeah, I tried to convince myself that the sushi I ate last night was responsible for my 'hallucinations' of being here," he said, shaking his head ruefully. "Needless to say I wasn't quite accurate in my assumptions."
The idea that time might pass differently on earth than here, in the Surrounding, nearly made Fritz's heart stop. He had not even considered that idea, had never once thought that something like that could happen, but...was it possible? What if it had been years back on earth?
No. He was not going to go there. Fritz forced his thoughts back to reality, determinedly keeping his mind free from such a matter. Time is the same everywhere. It's universal.
"So what other types of things do you do with metalwork?" he asked the girl instead, hoping to change the subject. "I mean, I heard you mention something about art supplies..."

"Oh ... i usually make them for family and friends. Some times i give them to the kids i volunteer with." She smiled slightly. "I'm not really that good yet so i haven't really bothered to do much else."
She knew that's what she wanted to do though. She wanted to follow in her grandfathers footsteps but there just wasn't really a demand for blacksmiths anymore so she'd have to find the next best thing which seemed to be art.
"My grandfather was a blacksmith ... i spent a lot of time in his forge so i sorta got to like it. I do some sculpture stuff too. It's really stress relieving." And given her temper it was useful. "I'd just. I want to get back to it. I don't like it out here and the zodiacs or watever they are need to send us home"

"That is quite interesting," Fritz said, fascinated by the very concept of bending metal to make things like jewelry. "I've always wished I were handy with tools, but alas, I'm afraid I'm quite ill-adept when it comes to anything other than paper and pencil, plain and simple."
His eyebrows rose slightly, Fritz's appreciation for the girl rising with each word she spoke. "A blacksmith? That's not something you hear much about these days. A family tradition, then? It sounds as if that is where you wish your path to go."
Fritz's idea of "stress relieving" was to scribble with a black Sharpie on an enormous sheet of paper. Something about the simplicity and freedom it allowed him made him relax, let go of the tension building up.
"I want to go back to," he replied, after a long moment of silence, and for the first time in a very long time, Fritz's voice was serious. "It's too...too much out here. I don't really like it."
He gave her a rueful smile. "But there's not much we can do about it, it seems."
