Today was finally the day.
All the planning and talking they had done for the past week added up to just one date - one single date - between Mitsu and Shun. It was a date that was planned for both of them to hopefully have that chance to confess their feelings for each other; of course, Lizzy had kept it a secret that their feelings for each other was mutual - Shun thought that Mitsu would never fall for a guy like him while Mitsu was nervous about how Shun felt about her...
It was tough, but she kept her lips sealed tight.
Crouched behind a rather tall roll of bushes right by the school gate, she peered through the foliage at the not-a-couple, a wide grin on her face; she was even dressed in black for the stalking occasion! Black dress with her hair pinned back and braided with black hair ties together with dark stockings and black boots... She felt so sneaky after following all of Levi's tips!
She quickly checked the time on her eyephone and looked around; it was almost time for them to leave the school in order to reach the cinema in time! Hopefully, her fellow Love Squad members were already on their way in their black outfits...

Junko was running, fearing she would be late. Why would she be late? Well, Lizzy had told them they were following Mitsu and Shun to a movie; movie theaters got dark, and Junko's eyes glowed now. It would be so obvious she was staring at them. She couldn't just...not watch though. But she didn't want to give them away. The three of them being caught following Mitsu and Shun could potentially ruin everything. But she didn't own moonglasses. Did anyone she know own them? Seiji. Seiji owned moonglasses. She had to convince him to let her borrow them which had led to explaining the point of the Love Squad and why they were doing this and why it mattered and really it had all been really drawn out. She wondered if it was just because she insisted on cuddling him while doing this and he didn't want her to move.
...Tricky boil.
Thankfully it wasn't too late by the time she reached where Lizzy had said to meet, but she didn't..see Lizzy. But who had she seen? Mitsu and Shun. She gasped and looked around for a place to hide, the first thing she saw was a large bush beside her. She dove into it, crashing into none other than Lizzy who had been hiding on the other side. Junko covered her mouth so she wouldn't make too much noise, pursing her lips and wincing. Owwwwwww. "SorryLizzy." She mumbled behind her hands as she climbed off her friend to sit beside her on the ground, giving her a once over. Good! She'd dressed appropriately. Junko had paid extra special care to her hair, braiding it as tightly as she could manage and piling it all on her head only to cover with a thick scarf she'd wrapped around her head like a sort of ninja mask. Only her eyes showed now but she had the moonglasses for when she needed to hide them. Good! She wasn't late! She was worried about that.

Xiu had gone for a trip to the maul just for this day, stocking up on the necessary black clothing that the Love Squad would need for this mission. The store's cashier had stared at her strangely when she went up to pay for her new dress, shoes, leggings, gloves, and paperboy hat. All in black, of course.
When the time came for her to get ready, she tossed on all of these articles of clothing, tied the back of her hair up in a ponytail, and tucked it out of sight beneath her new hat. There, now she wouldn't have to worry about Shun or Mitsu spotting her pale-colored hair! With everything on, Xiu kind of resembled a secret agent of some kind...or so she thought, at least. To others, perhaps the only thing she really looked like was "suspicious".
No matter. Making her way outside to their meeting point, the Baku ended up doing exactly what Junko had done: upon spotting Shun and Mitsu, she panicked, glanced around, and then dived into the large bush. "...!" At once, she knew that she wasn't alone. There were PEOPLE in here! She wasn't the only one hiding in this bush! But who else--
"Oh! Hi Junko, Hi Lizzy!" She was careful to keep her voice in a very low whisper, grinning sheepishly as she straightened her crooked hat and waved to the two, "Are...are you guys ready?" Oh boy, this was so exciting!

When something came crashing through the bush and at her, she had to stop herself from yelling out in surprise or pain... It would be bad if Mitsu and Shun heard her... Wouldn't want their little plan to follow the pair get ruined so early during the date, after all.
"Hi Junko!" She whispered, smiling and giving the ghoul an affectionate hug when she realized that it was her friend who had dove into the bush and not some stranger whom she might have to knock out, tie up and gag so as to not ruin the Love Squad's first ever 'stake out'...
... Probably.
When Xiu joined them, she would receive a Lizzy hug too before she gave both ghouls a thumbs up; now that everyone was here, it was time to carry out their plan.
Jerking her thumb in the direction of the couple, she then peered through the bush to observe them. When they started to move out of school grounds, she dove out of the bush, rolled on the ground once and then stood up and gestured for her friends to follow.

The hug was returned as Junko settled down beside Lizzy, squeaking when Xiu suddenly appeared much the same way she just had. Ohcrap! She put a hand over her own mouth to remind herself not to make much noise. "Hi guys!" She whispered, peeking through the bush to make sure neither Mitsu nor Shun had noticed them. Mitsu had those ears...surely she could hear better than Shun. Oh dear. This would prove difficult. But Junko was going to trust in all of them! They could do this!
As Lizzy gave silent directions Junko nodded, pretending to know what she was 'talking' about. Nodding just seemed like the right thing to do. She gasped as Lizzy jumped out of the bushes. It was time. The moonglasses were put on and Junko gave Xiu a thumb's up. Her entire head was now covered. Heck yes. She was ready for spying. Junko dove out of the bush the same way Lizzy had, though instead of rolling she just...hit the ground.
Ow...
Junko was quick to recover. She scrambled to her feet beside Lizzy and grinned behind her makeshift mask, giving her a thumb's up and looking toward the bush to make sure Xiu came out alright.

After returning the hug, Xiu gave a little nod to show that she understood what their next move was. She poked her head out of the bush to watch as Lizzy dove and rolled out of the bush, eyes wide with excitement. Ooh, was she supposed to do that to? Though it seemed kind of difficult. When Junko dove out without doing a roll, the Baku was given the impression that they could do...well, whatever the hell they wanted, so she flopped down on her stomach and crawled out of the bush, her gaze darting back and forth in a suspicious manner.
She felt so sneaky!
Once she was satisfied that no one else had spotted them, she pushed herself up to her feet and directed a thumbs up at both Lizzy and Junko. Let's do this! She mouthed, giving her gloves a little tug.
...Heehee, she had always wanted to do that tug-on-gloves thing that she saw in the movies! It just seemed like a cool move, okay?

Nodding, she then silently trailed after Shun and Mitsu, pausing for a moment at the gate to peer out from behind it; in her mind's eye, there were sparkles around the couple and everyone else were tuned out. Ignoring all the odd glances some of the passersby were throwing at them, she followed behind, making sure to keep a safe distance; they were on a mission! Such small things did not bother her much.
"I got us movie tickets too," She whispered, holding up three tickets to the same showing of the show she had picked for Shun and Mitsu, "We're sitting in the same roll, but at the side and away from them... So we can see what they're doing in the theater!" She couldn't resist grinning, giggling softly.
How sneaky!

Junko diving out of the bush hadn't really been her intention; she had meant to do a roll like Lizzy but failed miserably. At least no one seemed to notice! That was a good thing. She brushed herself off and followed alongside Lizzy and Xiu, checking her scarf every now and then to make sure it was secure. Couldn't make a sound, couldn't make a sound...Shun and Mitsu couldn't know they were following them! She looked up as they approached the theater, taking a moment to check her borrowed moonglasses. "Are they okay? You can't see any of the glow, right?" Her eyes glowed a brighter color than Seiji's so she could never be sure. She'd never worn glasses of any kind before either. It was...weird.
She looked down at the tickets after and held her hand out for her own ticket and Xiu's to pass it on to the ghoul, holding it at a normal distance until she realized it was hard to see with her eyes reflecting off the dark black lenses; it hadn't been something she'd noticed until it came time to read something. She turned the ticket this way and that before finally just pulling the glasses down enough to peer over the frames and look down at the ticket. Friday the Thirteenth? She'd seen this movie! It...was kind of a scareling's movie. Oh well. It would be fun either way. Junko looked up to find the pair had already disappeared into the theater and she gasped, pushing the moonglasses into proper position again. "Gah! Guys they went in already come ooooon we're gonna lose 'em!" Junko quickened her pace to get to the theater as quickly as she could without losing them, peering through the windows first before she opened one of the doors and slipped in, looking back out and gesturing for her cohorts to follow quickly.
...Oh...those candy corn bags looked really, really good. Oh dear. This was bad. She swallowed hard and forced herself to look away from the nearby consessions and ignore them.
It was very hard...

Xiu shook her head at Junko's question, flashing her a reassuring smile. "Nope, can't see the glow," She whispered, before turning her attention to Lizzy and the tickets that were handed over. Like Junko, she quickly read over it to see what it was that Shun and Mitsu were watching (and therefore what they would also have to watch). To be honest, Xiu couldn't say if she was excited or disappointed to see that they would be watching Friday the Thirteenth. It wasn't really romantic, but it was an awfully fun movie anyways!
Xiu kept herself low to the ground, miraculously ignoring--or just not noticing--all the looks they were getting from other moviegoers. Her attention was focused on their targets, and only them. "Yes! We have to hurry, before--Junko?" The Baku cut herself off, looking towards the Futakuchi-onna as she realized that her gaze had fallen elsewhere. The...candy corn?
..."...M-maybe we could sneak out in a bit and grab some bags?" She suggested, turning to look at Lizzy with a small tilt of her head. It wouldn't hurt, right? Especially since the movie was longer than an hour, anyways. They could only stare at Shun and Mitsu's profiles for so long before they got hungry.
Hey, being sneaky was very hard work!

"Looks fine to me!" She looked at Junko, giving the ghoul a grin as she hurried after the couple, determined to observe them all the way; the two stopped by the get some snacks, and she had to wonder if they would... Well, accidentally touch each other's hands as they both reach for the popcorn being held in a single container- Oh wait. They're just getting a drink, and were not even sharing!
DAMNIT SHUN.
When she realized that her companions were being left behind, however, she stopped and tiptoed backwards (while ignoring all the odd glances being shot in their direction), stopping beside the Baku. She followed her gaze to the concession stand and...
... Candy corn?
"Well, our seats won't run away," She giggled softly, giving a nod, "We might miss the commercials at the start, but that's no big deal~" They have the whole movie to observe Shun and Mitsu, after all! She was sure that being a few minutes late wouldn't hurt!
Quickly, she went to the concession stand, grabbing a Dr. Doom and a bag of candy corn for them before leading them to theater 13, where the movie was being showed. It was easy enough to spot Mitsu and Shun (since most of the audience was made up of scarelings and their parents - how cute!) and she quickly made her way towards three vacant seats at the side of the room, making sure they could see the couple they were currently, uh, following.
"Mummy, who's that?"
"Don't look, dear..."
It was a good thing Lizzy was too preoccupied to realize that they were talking about the Love Squad.

Junko stopped as Xiu suggested getting some snacks, eyes widening behind her borrowed moonglasses. Yay, Xiu! She likes the way you think~. Junko was smiling as they walked over with Lizzy's agreement. She also had been ignoring the stares of those around them but only because she didn't want to acknowledge they were getting odd looks. She felt them, she heard the whispers, but she felt that if she ignored them then they would stop bothering her. It was all a learning process. She got a drink for herself as well as a bag of candy corn so they would just have a neverending supply of the stuff, it seemed she also got a few seeds out of Seiji along with his moonglasses, before quickly following Lizzy to the theater they were assigned to.
What a young crowd. They were going to stand out. Ohohohoh! "LizzyLizzyLizzy! Look!" She whispered excitedly behind her 'ninja mask'. They were holding hands! Giggling as quietly as she could Junko sat down in one of their chosen seats, wishing so badly she could take off the moonglasses. It was so dark in here! And the movie made it even darker somehow! And it made the reflection of her eyes more prominent behind the lenses. Oh, great. She couldn't see a damn thing. And before she knew it the movie was over.
"...I kind of wish I could turn off my eyes." Junko mumbled in the chaos of people being allowed to talk again. She wasn't paying attention to their 'targets' in that moment, unfortunately.

Like the others, Xiu had purchased a small drink of her own, along with a pack of candies for the three ghouls to share. The theater was filled with a lot more scarelings than she had expected but...oh well! There was clearly nothing suspicious about three young ghouls dressed up in black clothing and giggling off to the side while staring at the back of two other movie goers' heads.
Nothing suspicious at all.
Xiu's attention wasn't fully on the movie, simply because--after overhearing Junko's excited whisper--the Baku had been distracted grinning like a fool and staring at Shun and Mitsu happily. How very sweet! Before she knew it, the lights at the side of the room started to flicker on, indicating that the film was over and it was time to go. They definitely didn't want either of the date pair to spot them! Of course, she was confident that, even if they did see them, they wouldn't be able to recognize them in these amazing disguises.
"Okay," She whispered, looking towards Junko and Lizzy, "So, where are they going next...?" Like Junko, her gaze was not focused on either Mitsu or Shun at the moment, but the other two Love Squad members.

Lizzy's attention was divided between the screen and the couple - she saw Mitsu spill her drink on some guy seated near her, and couldn't help but tense up for the rest of the movie, half-expecting the guy to give Mitsu trouble... Then again, giving Mitsu trouble would mean Shun being the hero and saving the damsel in distress! She couldn't resist grinning at the thought of Shun on a black horse and riding with Mitsu into the moonset.
When the movie ended, she lost sight of the couple in the sea of people leaving the cinema; besides, she had to make sure that neither of their targets saw them... By the time they exited, their targets were out of sight.
It was a good thing that she knew their schedule outline.
"Dinner after the movie, at a sushi place," She nodded at Xiu before grinning at Junko, "I think we should go undercover... You know, be a part of the restaurant they're going to... I know the manager, so he'll probably agree to it if the two of you are up for it?" She looked hopeful as she said that; sure, it might blow their cover, but they were out to have fun too!
