Xero stood uncomfortably in front of Prisca's house. Since he had agreed to go to this party there was little else on his mind. He couldn't mess it up for her. His vendor 'friend' was nice enough to point him in the direction of a good men's formal wear store and even nicer to help him afford one of the nice suits. Of course all he had to do was some east tasks for the vendor first, one of those tasks included scaring his son into going to bed on time and eating broccoli. It was amusing he found his old legends to be of use.
Now he had a nice black suit, red bow, and a long braid of hair to boot. Luckily he didn't have to fret with the shoes. His feet wouldn't fit into any of them. Hopefully the guests would not be offended at his bare feet. They were clean at least. Strange as far as human standards went, but clean.
Xero also did his best to tame his beard. Trimmed a bit, but not removed. He had taken a liking to it. It made him look older in human standards and in a sense wiser. It must have been a human thing.
Be nice, don't kill anyone... It was simple right? He could do this. Slowly he reached a knuckle to the door and knocked a few times. He could do this...

Prisca had began getting ready a few hours before they were scheduled to leave for the party. The first thing had been a shower, making sure her hair was as clean as could be and smelling like flowers. Once her hair was dry, she pinned it back with a pretty black buckle, so that short strands fell around her face and the longer bits could just be seen over the top of her head. Not often did she touch her hair. It was too short to do much with, so she didn't bother. Today, however, she found she wanted to look her best. There was even make-up on her face by the time she was done. Eye-shadow, mascara, eye-liner. The whole package. Painting her face was something else she normally didn't bother with. A little lipstick and she was good to go.
The woman heard the knock on the door and felt the presence in her mind while she was putting the finishing touches on her hair. Making sure everything was in place. Balling the dress in one hand so as not to trip up in it, the Mewtwo woman made her way to the door.
"Hello, Xero," she greeted him warmly, stepping a little out of the doorway to motion he could come in if he wished. She was ready to go. All that was needed was to grab her silk shawl and put on her shoes. Looks like this. Also credit to base maker.

Xero watched the door open and found himself continuing to watch when Prisca appeared in the doorway. He had stepped back before the door was fully open to giver her room to exit if that's what she was going to do, but now he felt it hard to move in any direction. She was beautiful. Everything on Prisca's face seemed to stand out more than it had normally did. Of course she was a sight before, now it just seemed as though everything was accented, all her features were demanding attention.
-Ahem- he cleared his throat. Staring was not very polite, and he had almost done so for half a minute now. "Good evening Ms. Prisca." Always verbally complement them is what that vendor said. "You look splendid." But don't over complement them or else they get uncomfortable. Why was he listening to a street vendor? Perhaps he knew how to be a human better than Xero did.
It has slipped his mind that she had gestured for him to go inside and he was once again left to admire her attire.

The stares she was being given couldn't be returned with such force. As much as she had to admit simply putting on a suit made Xero look quite dashing and more handsome than before, it wasn't quite as large a shock as a man seeing a woman all dolled up. Prisca had even ditched her glasses for the event, settling on contacts for now. With the way he wouldn't move, she was beginning to wonder if the choice of her outfit was a bit...Much? The amount of cleavage poking through the sides of the bodice was a bit more than usual. She liked the style of the bodice. The fabric was wrapped around her neck, held on by a black ring at her throat. Two wide pieces of fabric were attached near the bottom, only coming together a bit past her breasts to create quite the affect. They snaked down her back in two long strips.
Not that seeing the Mewtwo woman dressed up was an uncommon sight. Prisca normally wore very fancy dresses, with her hair down only a bit of purple lipstick. To set apart party from 'casual' wear, she only wore the dresses with less fabric in the back to the parties she frequently attended. They called for special attire. And she wouldn't have been comfortable walking around the city with over half of her back exposed to the wind, anyway.
Since the man had no intentions of coming into the house, she took the opportunity to slip on her shoes, grab her silk shawl, and leave the house with a small purse in hand. Standing on the porch in front of him, Prisca took one deep breath.
"We'll never get anywhere if you stand there, staring at me," she chuckled, the amusement at his frozen statue clear in her voice. Taking one of his hands, she moved down one step towards the ground, tugging a little to urge him to follow. She was still nervous how they'd react. But they should be used to it by now. Pokehuman were becoming more and more common these days. Though Xero was still one of the few she'd seen carry so many Pokemon traits. However, today wasn't the time to ponder over the logical reason behind the phenomenon.
"Teleporting would be the quickest way to get there. I don't want to drive with this dress."

It certainly was new to see Prsica in such a revealing attire, enough to cause a little blush the more he admired it. When she returned to the house he blinked realizing he had done it -again-. This couldn't be the right way to start a night. However when she returned he found himself once again appreciating her beauty.
"I-" the blush intensified. "I am sorry Ms. Prisca."
Xero looked away as if he had committed some kind of terrible sin. Than he followed willingly when his hand was taken and he was lead down the stairs. He was feeling more out of place by the moment and they had yet to even reach the building. At least teleporting was something he could do without any trouble.
His tail twitched. "I see. Please, lead the way."
It was all he could think of saying at the moment. Human emotions, curse them and their limited ways.

"Just a small appearance," Prisca reminded him, stepping a little closer and looking up, her hand not letting go of his. Nor realizing she wasn't. Her feet stayed firmly on the ground, the tail curled about her underneath the silky rim of the dress. With her free hand, she gathered the shawl around her, hiding the area that was gathering so many blushes from the man. "I won't make you stay too long. No longer than 30 minutes, if you'd like."
Still holding Xero's hand, the woman let go of the shawl to grab hold of a corner of the dress, letting herself lift slightly off the ground as she did so. Picturing the large building in her mind, the skirt bundled out of the dirt in one hand, she Teleported them to a safe distance over ten feet away from the entrance to where the party was. A few people standing behind gave a start of fright and quickly darted away from them. The woman had her hand across her chest. Prisca guessed she'd just given the poor woman a heart attack. They should be used to it. This was how she always traveled to these things.
Purple eyes scanned the crowds entering. No one was yet paying attention to them. Though quite a few were giving them looks. The first Mewtwo was something they were used to by now. The second would be a huge surprise to them. Prisca bit her lip a bit.
"Just 30 minutes..." she repeated, more to herself. To Xero, she turned towards, letting go of his hand now that they were there and resting it on one shoulder. Leaning towards him, she gave his cheek closest a small peck. "Thank you in advance for agreeing to come."

Having someone else teleport you was an entirely different experience than simply teleporting yourself. It was a feeling that Xero found uncomfortable as it left him feeling weak on a sense. Not being able to control anything. He pushed the thought far in the back of his mind though as they reappeared near the target building.
Oh how the people running gave back some nostalgic memories. Ones that he suddenly felt very ashamed of as he side glanced Prisca. He looked back at the people wondering if the reaction was him or their sudden appearance. Shouldn't these humans be very used to a mewtwo by now? Perhaps they- His cheeks suddenly begun to burn again as he received a small peck from Prisca. Oh curse these human emotions. He probably looked so lost right now.
"You are most welcome, I am sorry I cannot think of more I can do for you at this time..." Xero spoke quietly, and very unsure why after he had spoken. His voice just would not go any higher. "I am also sorry I cannot be more gentlemanly and lead the way..." He vaguely recalled Trinity talking furiously how gentleman should act. The details of that rant were unimportant at this moment...
Xero's tail swayed a little in its own bliss as his eyes narrowed on the woman holding her chest. Humans.... over dramatic.

Prisca's purple eyes were still scanning the crowds of people entering the building. There were butterflies fluttering around in her stomach. She wasn't sure if this was a good idea. Putting Xero in a room full of so many strangers. Her species didn't like social interactions. Even she didn't like these too often. Hence why she only made short appearances to each one. Being nervous about bringing the man was now starting to make her feel bad, on top of everything else.
The lip biting continued until the Mewtwo gave a start and let go. The taste of blood was quick to follow. Reaching up with a hand to touch her bottom lip, Prisca was relieved to see it didn't come away red. She broke the skin inside. Not outside.
She also realized with another start she had still been half leaning on Xero, her hand still on his shoulder. This time it was her turn to go scarlet.
"I don't need you to do anymore," she answered, settling down on the ground and pulling the shawl closely to her neck. "Other then not running away, again." At that, she turned to look at him over her shoulder, giving a smile that clearly showed she was half teasing him. He would know she wasn't fully teasing. "Now, come. It's like a band aid. It'll be over soon." And, grabbing his hand, again, Prisca gently pulled on it and kept doing so until she'd lured him into the building, where they would enter the porch area. Beyond that, the double doors kept open, would be seen a large room with a huge chandelier on the ceiling. Long tables of drinks and finger foods, with many people standing about, mingling.

Xero had a different kind of butterfly in his stomach. It wasn't the humans that scared him rather it was the uncomfortable feeling that one of them might try something, and if they did he would defend himself. Defending himself usually ended up in something exploding.
He pulled away from his thoughts to look over to Prisca, whom was still leaning on his shoulder. His tail stopped swaying and his mind for a split moment went blank. Perhaps she was re-thinking this? Hopefully she didn't pick up on his amusement at the people running in terror.
"I-" He took her joke a bit too seriously at first but calmed down before responding fully. "-do not think I would have a place to hide from you even if I tried." was his weak attempt at a return joke.
He than followed a little behind Prisca, perhaps a bit too close than he would have realized necessary. Something within him went straight to some kind of protection mode. His body tensed as he looked around the vast room. There were so many humans in one place... it was like the entire city gathered here all at once.
The overwhelming sense took his attention away from the neat tables with food on them and to the crowds. Too many... too many people... -You know all of these people?- Xero asked Prisca through mind speech.
The fur on his tail stood on end when he saw a couple point to his feet than turn away top say something.

Once inside, Prisca decided to keep a hold onto his hand. She didn't have a hard time imaging how difficult it was for him to be around so many people. Seeing this many had been a huge shock to her, as well. But something she had grown used to over the years. It was something she had to do to keep her business going strong. No one liked a quiet owner.
"Not really," she returned with the private talk, reaching out for an already prepared glass of something sparkling. She raised it to her lips, but didn't drink anything. Instead, hiding behind it in slight unease. It was a bad idea. She wasn't even sure what had made her ask. A strong desire to have him there with her. Just for that one night. Not that there was anything special about it. Just a gathering to honor a new necklace. All she needed was to make a short appearance.
"How about just one walk around the room?" The woman's shoulder bumped his as she moved closer in an attempt to make him feel more comfortable. "And I'll never ask, again. I'm sorry to make you so uncomfortable..." The guilt entering her silent talk she couldn't help. Nor how uncomfortable she looked underneath the glass of wine.

Xero looked around the room again at everyone else. They seemed so calm, even enjoying the evening. Prisca, on the other hand, looked rather the opposite. Her reply only confirmed what he thought was going on.
He probably looked too awkward. Xero again looked around and quickly took note of everyone else in the room and what they were doing. Aside the perky attitude they all seemed to be enjoying that sparkling liquid that Prisca took for herself. Maybe that would help him blend in at least a fraction more? It did look like a nice drink.
Resisting the urge to use any powers he leaned, mindful of Prisca being so close, and took one of these beautiful beverages. Her leaning so close quickly brought that strange color to his cheeks again. -It is alright Ms. Prisca, this is something strange and new to me. I will try not to make this.. worse for you.- For a lack of a better way to word it.
Sticking close to Prisca he figured this time he could lead around the room. That wasn't too difficult. The room was large, but not that large especially not in comparison to the lab he had been created in. One walk, that was not so bad.
Xero brought the glass to his lips and took a small sip. Warm. It was warm and soothing all the way down. With each sip he could feel his muscles relaxing little by little. His mind grew a little foggy, but nothing that drew any concern. The feeling was at least distracting him from all the looks and points he was getting from some of the guests.
"Why are all these people celebrating?" He asked without the comfort of mind speech, though still in a hushed tone.

"Oh, Xero," she was quick to reply back with. "You don't make the evening bad to begin with." The glass was lowered from her lips, the glass still as full as it had been just a few moments ago. Prisca let go of his hand, deeming it too awkward looking, and settled to laying it on his shoulder. She moved upwards to get more on an eye level with him, nudging him gently to make the move around the room. She was already giving a few people a friendly smile and nod, not making a move to go mingle as she normally would. And no one made much of a move to come closer. One advantage to having the male with her.
"It's my fault. I can't fully understand why..." Though she had a very good guess.
Prisca didn't bat an eyelash at Xero following the example of everyone else and grabbing a glass for himself. She always seen humans drinking these. No one ever changed much. She swirled the liquid in her glass a moment, not really feeling thirsty.
"Humans will celebrate nearly anything," she whispered back, near his ear in her close position. The presence comforted her. "As for tonight...I designed a new necklace using glass. Not the same glass as yours," was added quickly, her eyes ceasing their movement around the crowd and resting back on Xero.

Of course humans celebrated everything...
"I see, this is for your accomplishment." His glass was now nearly empty. "Than, I do feel better for coming to see this. Not, of course, that spending time with you does not already make me feel better... Thank you for not leaving my side."
Unfortunately for Xero, he was unaware that eating nothing before this was a terrible mistake. Especially when deciding to try alcohol for the first time in his century existence. The affects were quick for this light weight, though his speech was perfectly fine and his thought patterns seemed normal as well. It would be very difficult for anyone to tell he was under the influence.
Personally he felt just fine, better even than just a few moments ago. With each sip he cared less and less for the others in the room. It was just him and Prisca now as far as he was concerned. Though he still kept his tone quiet enough for only her.
"I would not have minded if it were the same. Honored perhaps... I am not as skilled with crafting as you are. My creators were focused more on my ability to destroy than create."

Feeling better herself about asking the other Mewtwo to come along, Prisca took her hand off his shoulder and slipped it underneath, instead. So she was hugging his arm with one of hers, her free hand still holding her full glass. The area the dress enhanced was only made worse by his arm against her, the shawl having disappeared to the bend of her elbows. "Why would I leave you?" she whispered back, her chin at a level above his shoulder with her face turned towards his. She let him lead them around the room, ignoring the looks from the other people. Looks that were dawning on a new understanding of what was going on before their eyes. "I invited you. That wouldn't be nice. And I'm enjoying this a lot better than usual. Thanks to you."
Prisca caught herself, blinking and going a little red in the face as she turned her head back forwards. "I mean to say, I only come to these that require my attendance."
Now was a moment she chose to finally take a sip from her glass. Used to the drink by now, it would take more than a few to get any reactions from her that weren't normal.
"Still doesn't mean you can't create something. I've told you before you can be more than what they wanted. You're not bound to them forever. You choose your path. Not some greedy humans. Besides," she added, turning to face him, again. "That rose was pretty. It went and stayed on my dresser."

Xero smiled and shook his head. "I did not say I could not create anything. I can, however it is not what I am particularly skilled at. I have long since proven I am not bound to what they would want from me. Though it is a struggle not to take their ambitions as my own."
A brave waiter, who hopefully got a raise made his way with a tray full of empty glasses and full ones to the Mewtwo couple. It only took a quick moment for Xero to realize what this was for. How useful. He swapped his empty glass for a full one, said a small thank you, than continued.
"I am glad you like it. It was difficult to start off at first. There were two previous test tries that were nothing more than smoldering craters in the end."
He took a small sip from the glass. His mind was so clouded yet so clear. Every thought was made clear now. The fact that Ms. Prsica was hugging on his arm in her complementing dress did not bother him in the least, in fact he preferred it? What was that all about?
By now Xero was completely relaxed with being in a room of potential threats. They were not threats, not to him nor Prisca. They would know better than to try anything.
How did you come to make jewelry? Xero asked, giving Prisca a side glance.
