I'm a fan of most of Neil Gaiman's work. I'd have to say that even more than Stardust though I really loved the Lord of the Rings trilogy. I thought they stayed true to the spirit (if not always to the exact letter) of the books. I love movies so I have a lot of favorites. Here are just a few: The Shawshank Redemption Princess Bride Kiki's Delivery Service Blade Runner

I can't honestly say as I have a 'best' movie. I like films that try to steer away from regular movie conventions, because they stay away from the formulaic movie formats that I'm seeing in modern cinema.
Gran Torino is one of the ones that comes to mind, because it's a movie that's driven totally by characterization rather than a gripping plot. A movie without good, memorable characters is worthless in my opinion, even if the plot is rock solid.
Movies like Thir13en Ghosts are awesome, because they offer a sort of cerebral quality that a lot of horror movies lack. I'd much rather watch a psychological thriller than a slasher flick, if only because it's a movie that actually involves intellect to understand.
Finally, movies that are presented in the 'found footage' format like Paranormal Activity, Cloverfield and the Blair Witch Project are great because they offer more of a first-person perspective to the movie. Rather than being on the outside looking in, movies like this actually set us in the middle of everything that's transpiring.

Hm... I don`t know I like a lot of films, but the best was a anime which was called "Summer wars". And the best real live film for me was Transformers 3 and Colombiana.

I enjoy many types of films out there like the Underworld and Saw series as a couple examples. However my favorite films are both anime related movies. Those are Evangelion 2.22 and Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's counterattack. I'm a huge mecha dork and find both those movies immensely enjoyable.

Best movie ever? That's a toughy! I love movies heart The early ones when I was a kid like Star Wars (the original), Disney classics (Peter Pan) and later classics (The Little Mermaid).
I adore Pixar films. I've been watching them with my kids for years now, but honestly I watch them by myself all the time. They're so amazing with their storytelling and animation.
I'm a huge science fiction fan. Have been since I was little. My dad is too, so I was raised on the really early classics (and hokey stuff ^_^) He's a huge Star Trek fan, since the original series.
Some of my favorite scifi films are: The 5th Element Dark City Serenity (I've been a Firefly from the first episode!) Stargate (the film- and yes I've seen all the series-es and I even liked SGU) Galaxy Quest (funniest movie ever!) Superman TRON E.T. The Last Starfighter (my husband's favorite) Titan AE Men in Black ID4 ... seriously I could go on and on.
