This is just so the Captains or the Crew know who to send Birthday wishes to. Also, in order for the Captains or Crew to send you gifts they would need:
*Your Profile to be visible. So that they can view your Wishlist.
*And your Wishlist to be Visible. They can't give you anything if they don't know what you want.
