So I've been noticing a few players who are quite new to the RP Events. This thread is designed to help those who might have future questions for it later, and to get a broad idea of what they could possibly expect.
King Azreth has graciously stepped in from his busy schedule to help me in this endeavor.
Now without further adieu, let's get on with a short explanation.
arrow Step 1 - Sign up for the event. You guys have been pretty good about doing this so far. Remember, when you sign up, fill out the form as correctly as possible. You have three times (all in Eastern Standard Time Zone - or EST) to choose from - 1 pm, 6pm, and 10 pm. If you are unsure of which times will work for you, sign up for all three, but remember - you may only participate at one time. I usually open sign up threads the Monday after an event and close sign up threads at 12 pm the day of the event. Sometimes, sign ups are not mandatory, but signing up helps me in creating obstacles and making the games fair and fun for everyone participating. Also, I cannot stress this enough - be on time! If you show up to an event 10 minutes late, your horse will automatically be at a disadvantage and you wouldn't want that. However, I will give special rounds under extremely special circumstances. I'm not completely heartless and I'm willing to work with you as long as you are willing to work with me.
arrow Step 2 - Participate. Now this one I'm going to have to break down.
>>>>On the day of the event, I will quote you at least 20 to 30 minutes before your time is supposed to begin. That way, it'll give players time to check their messages and what not. I will only quote you once so make sure you keep a tab open for the RP Event.
>>>>After I quote you, post to let me know you are ready. When you post, make sure you include an image of your Azrein (no URLs please) as well as Stats underneath them and some sort of slogan ("Nailiah is willing and ready to go!"). The game will begin after all players are accounted for OR when time says it should start.
I think the rest will be mostly self explanatory. I will post what is required of your Azrein (an obstacle) each time until a winner is chosen. If there is only one person playing, I reserve the right to deem them the winner if I see fit. No sense in having them do all that work only to get the 2% prize.
RP Events can take anywhere from an hour to two and a half hours long so make sure you have the time to sit down and do so.

[Oooh Lendel. Let's see what happens shall we?]
Because this is a sample round, there really isn't any mission objective.
As Lendel is taking time to himself, a small herd of neutral aligned azrein come running up to him. They are piqued and curious about this stallion who claims to be the "Guardian of Song". Curious about his musical intellect, the azrein proceed to ask him a series of questions about music. Unfortunately for Lendel, this group know a lot about melodies and songs.

The herd looks toward him a little skeptically, but his answers made sense (even if his appearance didn't). The stallion was quite charming as well. Maybe he was what they needed. One of them piped up, "Well you seem like someone of good taste. We need your help. There's an azrein in the forest threatening to attack us unless someone can...sing him to sleep. Problem is, none of us can carry a tune or most of us can stand his stench for more than an hour or two...You can find him in the forest." That was Lendel's forte. The stallion was fairly confident in his ability to lull the Azrein in the forest to sleep, however he wasn't too familiar with the area, so he really would like a guide. The stallion's blue gaze traveled over each of the Azrein, reading the lines and planes of their features to discern their emotions.
Anxious, nervous, a bit of hope in there as well. Lendel nodded to himself; he was always grateful for what his Chosen had taught him. After meeting Lendel, Rethken had drilled the stallion ruthlessly, endlessly, until Lendel could read the emotion and temperament of human and Azrein alike based only on sight and tone. Body language, the tension or relaxation of the minute, barely discernible muscles in the face and neck; Lendel knew it all.
The stallion cocked up his back hoof, projecting calm and confidence through unspoken body language to the small group of Azrein, hoping to calm them down a bit.
"Well, I'm sure I can help you out; after all, there's no reason for anyone to get hurt. And if it's a songster you need to assist you, then I will be more than happy to offer my services. However, it would be kind if I could have one or two of you accompany me. I really must admit that I'm not familiar with the terrain here, not to mention I always perform best with a bit of an audience."
