Hard to believe, but Ridley often did play inside. Especially when it was even too hot for her - and her parents feared she'd have a heat stroke or something - or when there was something entertaining enough for her to do within the walls of her home.
Or a My Little Pony marathon on Hub which she was currently watching with Conner, a secret Brony. Her eyes were glued to the television in the family room, watching with a huge smile as she sat on the couch when one of her phones rang. Her hands went instantly in her pockets as a tune filled the air, unsure of which phone was actually calling her.
Her iphone was silent and still black from inactivity yet her orange one clearly had a message on it and she read it as well as she could through the distractions of the tv. Ridley's eyes shot up and her mouth fell open, "there's another cat I haven't met!" She exclaimed.
"Huh?" Conner asked from the other side of the couch, confused.
"... nothing," she lamely told him when she read over the message again. Zue... a Zodiac Guardian. He was asking for help. She had no idea what a Zodiac was really nor if him being their guardian was anything special. But he was a cat and was asking for help!
She had to talk to Istas about this!
Scrolling through her list of contacts, Ridley's finger stopped and tapped on 'HugBell' and opened up the messaging option.
Did you get the message?! It's from a CAT!

Ahhh Pony Marathon's. Istas was watching it too, she was laying on a large stuffed pony when her senshi phone rang. She'd picked different ring tones so she knew which was which.
She paused her mom was in the kitchen so the child pulled out the blue and yellow phone reading the message when her other phone went off. Her father had upgraded her phone when she begged for it so she could text Ridley and the other chibis and not look suspicious having her senshi phone out.
She finished reading the one phone and then pulled out the other when she hid the senshi phone. Looking she saw she had a text from Ridley.
Yeah I just got it. I think he belongs to that princess.
Istas was being vague over the texts but she hoped that Ridley would catch on that there was a Zodiac princess.
When the commercial was going off Chi was bring in milk and cookies for Istas. "Oh you have a message?" Her mother asked looking curiously to see if she could tell who it was from.
"Yeah, it's from Ridley, she saw another cat." The messages had already been read and answered so her mom couldn't see that, so Istas shrugged softly. For now at least, Istas' attention turned back to the TV and munching on the cookies she'd been brought.
"I see." Chi said with a pause and curious look before heading back to the kitchen.

Ridley grinned when she had gotten a reply so quickly. Conner, not so much. "Dude, Ree... could you at least lower the volume if you're having a conversation or something?" The older boy scowled, giving her a glare.
"Jeez, fine." The orange haired girl replied with a pout, flipping the switch to mute. She read Istas' message again since she had been interrupted.
Princess? What Princess?
Had she met any princesses? She had met a prince, sure and a female knight .... hadn't they mentioned a princess? Had ********* or Ellie? Honestly, she couldn't remember.

Istas had turned her phone on vibrate so she'd know when she was getting messages. She picked up the phone when it noted she had a new message.
There's a Zodiac princess.
Istas was having to think of how to explain the senshi talk without getting too much notice in case people really were watching their texts. She sighed, her parents always talked about the whole government overseeing calls. So she was doing her best to make it sound like a dumb cartoon and hoped Ridley caught on.
See I watched her get thrown by this guy, whos suppose to be a prince, but he threw her at the bad guys
Istas hit send before finishing the cookie she was eating.

Ridley hummed in thought as she mouthed out Istas' message after it appeared. Well, Zue was a Zodiac guardian... so a Zodiac princess made sense, right? Or wait, did it really? Her eyebrows pushed together as she thought about it. Did that mean Castor had a cat? Wait, was there an Asteroid princess too or something? And why would a prince want to throw a princess around? That was such a jerk move!
There were too many questions running through her head and Ridley was honestly getting herself confused. Focus. She needed to focus. Go back to the beginning, a cat was asking for help; and asking for healing senshi. She was totally one of those!
Oh.
Was her first reply. It was hard to ask so many questions at once through text, so she went with simple. Maybe if they met up she could ask the other girl.
Do you think we should go? Seems like it could be fun! Ridley texted a few seconds after.

Another commerical had gone and past. Istas frowned, she probably had confused Ridley with that extra information. She'd have to be sure to explain it better when they weren't limited by texting.
The first reply kind of told Istas she had indeed confused Ridley. The second however, Yes we should. It could be fun, but we'd have to be careful too.
She paused after sending that text and following up with, I'll text Zia she'll cover for us. I'll see if she'll take us to the 'beach'. kay? The child figured if they were going Zia wasn't going to let them go alone. So having an option where Zia could come too was the best bet.

Ridley made a disagree sound as she exhaled from Istas' last sentence, careful? Pfft. (which also earned her another angry look from Conner). Where was the fun in that?
Though, it was Istas. So, that made sense and at least she had the right idea and the means to come up with a clever excuse for the two of them to be able to go without anyone really noticing.
Awesome! She wrote and then paused. I'll ask ********* if she wants to come!
Granted, she had no idea where ********* was, to be honest, but that didn't mean she couldn't ask someone about that. Shifting in her spot, Ridley clicked open her contacts list again and did a short scroll, seeing as the names weren't that far apart from one another, and opened a new chat window.
Ellie? If ********* is with you can you tell her to come over to my house? I have something awesome to ask her!

Great! We should probably pack some supplies for medical aid and plenty of snack foods! She sent back to Ridley.
After she finished she texted Zia, Hey, will you babysit me and Ridley? We're telling our parents we're going to the beach for a week.
With that and the MLP show going off Istas got off the couch and shouted, "Mom~ Zia wants to take us to the beach for the week, before school starts back!"
She ran up stairs to pack a bag. She'd explain to Zia what was happening when she got in the car and they could probably pick up more stuff before going.

Oh huh thats a good idea Ridley replied, having not thought about taking stuff to bring to the stranded people. Then again, all she thought about was there being another guardian cat she could meet.
Her phone buzzed again, indicating another message had come through. A very simple and short 'fine' was replied from Ellie after she had located the right text window, which brought a smile to the orange girl's face.
Ridley turned on the couch, lifted her up a bit to let her arms slink over the back of the couch to face where her mother sat at their kitchen table. "Mooooom, Istas and her babysitter person Zia invited me to go to the beach ~ can I go?"
"If it's alright with them, then sure. Just leave their contact information, okay?" Monica replied after a moment of thought. It would be nice for her daughter to get out a few days of play before school started.
Ridley grinned and launched herself over the side of the couch and scrambled to her room to pack. Hopefully she wouldn't forget the snacks and other stuff Istas recommended.
