Practice had gone as good as always, and Millie was outside of the building, waiting for her mom to com and pick her up. As her fencing saber was nice and hung up back in the practice room, she was practicing with her favorite, well worn blue lightsaber, jabbing and trying to do some of the moves that she had been taught.
As she was practicing, there was a pair of eyes watching her from inside of a bush. When the girl had done a fancy looking move—and from such fell on her backside, the creature watching her attacked.
It looked like a deer, but much smaller and with much, much sharper teeth. The creature leaped at Millicent, pinning her legs down with its back claws, and pinning one of her arms down with a front claw. Though, as the creature moved to scratch the child’s face with its other claw, letting out a ghastly noise—nearly a grunt, but not quite, Millie swung her saber at the thing, hitting it as hard as she could.
The youma let out a squeal, rolling off of her, rubbing at it’s nose, and giving the child a chance to scramble up, running to the door, trying to get back into the building, seeming scared when she found the door locked.
An alien! It must have been sent by the Sith! Oh no!
She sniffled, then hesitated. Wait….maybe the Jedi sent it, intending to test her!
The fear left her eyes almost at once and she laughed. “Yeah! I’m going to face my trial, and I’ll be a Jedi knight soon, right! Right! Or…or I’ll have a master soon, won’t I? Won’t I Jedi Council? I’m worthy, right?” She was searching the sky, hoping to hear an answer, but as she looked, the creature once more prepared to strike.

********* must have had some sort of fencing-attraction or something lately. First there was that long-haired man at the Hillworth campus who had been practicing his fencing in the evening that got attacked by a youma, and now there was this child nearby who had been taking lessons it seemed on the same subject. There were several glaring differences in the scenarios. The Hillworth student was rescued by Sailor Boreas, and though he had some minor knowledge of the war between Senshi and the Negaverse, his starseed did not seem to have anything special about it.
This child, on the other hand, had no senshi rescuer waiting to save her. Well, none than her own. ********* was growing increasingly more aware of the much softer sense of a child's starseed having the potential to become a senshi. This child's was emitting a sort of feeling that Hygiea, Egeria, Hugbell, and Ixion's starseeds all had emitted before her.
********* had not made it to the child before the youma had scrambled to attack, but this girl seemed to have a fighting spirit, managing to ward the creature off for a moment or two. This girl then decided to speak to the sky, giving the youma a chance to potentially strike once more.
In an effort to snap her back to reality, the cat called out "GIRL, RUN IN THIS DIRECTION, NOW!"

Millie jumped at the sound of the voice, and let out a little yelp as the youma jumped at her, attempting to pin her down once more.
It was lucky for her that ********* had called, for she managed to move out of the way, causing the creature to smash into the wall of the practice hall. Wow!
She began running in the direction of the voice, sure it was the voice of a strong Jedi Knight, come to embrace her, tell her it was time for her journey to the crystal caves! For her to make her first and only real lightsaber, and begin her training! What would she tell her mommy?
When Millicent saw *********, she blinked. "Oh! What species are you? Are you gonna chop the monster in half? What's your name? What planet are you from?"
She was so excited, all of her thoughts were running together.

There were two ways ********* could approach this situation. She was quite certain this child was not in the know about the Mauvians and the fact that the cats with star shapes on their foreheads were actually from outer space. Yet, if she was to answer these questions 100% accurately, it would probably cause more problems.
So ********* went with option two.
"I'm a cat, my dear. My name is ********* and... we should save introductions for later. Right now... let's get somewhere safe where we might be able to have enough time to tend to business!"
Glancing back towards the youma, the cat began to make her way in the opposite direction. Perhaps if there was some place for the child to climb up and away from the ground level, that would probably help!

Millie followed after *********, running as fast as her little legs could take her.
A cat? Why wouldn't she just tell her what species she was. Although, maybe the cat creature was afraid Millicent wouldn't remember the names of the species, which...may have been true, she wasn't very proficient in the names of all the different Star Wars species, so.
"What business," The child huffed, hurrying still. "Do we have to attend to?"
Maybe the Jedi Master had to give her a lightsaber to stop the monster. That must be what the business was.
The youma was dazed from hitting the wall, then just let out a screech, shaking it's head, and beginning to follow after the child and cat.

As she led the way, all the cat offered for now was a simple "You will see soon enough!"
Alas, they ran past a couple buildings until they came across a taller building with one of those fire escapes built into the side. Of course, the ladder was still pushed up and needed to get pulled down before they could imagine climbing up even in the slightest.
"Do you think you can pull the ladder down?" she asked urgently, glancing back to where the youma was charging from.

Millicent looked at the ladder, then gave a little nod, before jumping up, grabbing it then holding on, letting her weight make the ladder slide down.
"I got it, *********!" She seemed so excited, then began to climb up.
"Hey, *********, what will going up higher do? Is that where you'll give me my lightsaber?"
The youma was still quickly approaching, it's clawed hooves making tiny clicking sounds against the concrete.

*********, was unfortunately, a cat. She was not built to climb up ladders made of metal with rounded rungs. Even with a superior sense of balance, she could only make it onto the bottom rung.
"Please pull the ladder up now," she called to the child, before adding an answer to her question.
"Going higher up will hopefully slow the youma chasing you down." The youma didn't seem to be built for delicate climbing, but it seemed to have the potential to leap. It was a bit of a gamble on the guardian's part, but it had to be done.

Millicent reached the top of the fire escape, then began pulling the ladder up, scooping up ********* when she was able to reach the cat and putting her down next to her on the fire escape.
It was true, the youma was not built for climbing. It had managed to catch hold of the ladder though, holding on tightly with its teeth, but then fell off when the rusty metal thing was pulled halfway up.
With a small thud, the creature landed on the ground, motionless for the moment.
The child looked down at the creature, then looked expectantly at *********. "Do I get to be your padawan now? Do you have a lightsaber for me? How do you hold a lightsaber, ********* that the danger had seemingly passed for the moment, the child was full of even more questions.

********* was scooped up and relocated next to the child upon the grate of the fire escape. Since there was no space for her to actually jump without potentially losing any of the items she'd be summoning, ********* only had one option available at the moment.
"...please hold your hand out in front of me... I do have something for you, though it is probably not what you are thinking..."

The child had a grin that looked like it may have been hurting her face. She held her hand out to *********, almost dancing on the fire escape.
"I'm ready, I'm so ready! I'm so excited, ********* this was a dream, there was no way she wanted to wake up from it. Ever. In all of her dreams before this, they had never been so detailed, so real. She eagerly awaited the lightsaber she knew that was coming. Any second now.
She was really going to be a Jedi!

This child was weird. Certainly she had been spouting out nonsense for a majority of this journey, and even now she seemed more excited than most senshi were upon having their powers awakened. She doubted the child knew what was about to happen.
In the back of her throat, it sounded as if she was about to hack something up. It was almost as if she was about to spit up some sort of furball. It probably was something any person holding their hands in front of the cat would have had second thoughts about.
Yet, when she eventually coughed up, something tumbled into the girl's hand. Despite where it has supposedly come from, the object was completely dry, almost pristine looking. In fact, it looked like some sort of overly large pen.
Clearing her throat a bit now that she had gotten one of the two items to the child, she offered a simple apology. "Sorry about that... don't worry, that should be clean enough!" In a still chipper tone, she then gave the child directions. "Take that pen and call out with as much energy and feeling as you can 'Lenka Power Make-Up!'"

A pen? This wasn't a lightsaber...it was a pen.
Millicent looked at it, then frowned at the cat. Oh well...maybe this was a test! Yes. It was just a test to see how well she followed orders!
The child held the pen out, then took a deep breath, calling out. "Lenka Power....Make-Up!"
She blinked as a bunch of red watermelon looking sparkles began to surround her, emitting a light scent of watermelons as well.
When the sparkles faded, Sailor Chibi Lenka stood there, her skirt was green and round like a watermelon, and her red gloves held little seed shaped buttons. The girl was so confused and stunned. "H-*********...? What just happened?"
This wasn't what she had expected. At all.

Goodness, this senshi's transformation was only making the manx very hungry! Most times there was no scent of food during a transformation, so by the time the girl had finished, there was a bit of drool rolling out of the edge of *********' mouth.
The child was probably hoping to be told her destiny was as a Jedi, though that wasn't on the agenda for today. "You are Sailor Lenka, Chibi Senshi of Watermelons. And you get to fight against the youma that was chasing us."
In fact, the youma was still being quite persistent. ********* glanced down at it and pointed a paw in its direction. "Shout out 'Lenka Boomerind'... if you would please."

"Lenka...Boomarind?" The Chibi Senshi murmured, confusion clear in her voice.
As she spoke the words, a piece of watermelon rind appeared in her gloved hands. She stared at it, then frowned, looking at the youma, who had backed up enough to try and jump up onto the fire escape.
The child drew her hand back, now shouting the words, throwing the rind as hard as she could at the Youma.
As luck would have it, she managed to land a hit, smacking the creature between the eyes, causing it to emit a howl of pain.
As the rind returned to the small senshi, she once more threw it.
This time, however, the youma seemed ready and caught the rind in it's mouth, before letting out a hissing noise and bolting off into the night.
Sailor Lenka looked at *********, seeming confused still. "Did...we win?"
