Zimwi might be getting on in years but that certainly was not going to stop her from joining in the fight. She had foreseen their victory and she was not afraid. She thirsted for blood and she would have it one way or another.
She strode confidently up to the borders, her heart thrumming in battle frenzy. All around her there was chaos; the flash of colliding bodies, the sounds of snarls and yaps. The sound of pain. It infected her like a disease, this battle lust, and without warning she charged into the fray, throwing up her head; the wild eyes rolling in her head.
βTo war! To war!β She cried.
And suddenly she felt alive. So very much alive.
Her heart soared with every leaping bound and around her the clash seemed to fade into the background. Her eyes flashed from face to face, seeking her first victim amongst the crowd. So many were fighting. So many were already tangled in battle. The scent of the blood near made her mad and, suddenly, amidst the throng of war, she spotted her victim.
With a snarling growl, like distant thunder, she dug in her hind paws to alter her path and then launched herself straight at her chosen prey. There was no hesitation, no grace about it. This old lady - once wizened seer and leader β was now bloodthirsty brute. It was frightening, though some might also call it suicidal.

There was lingering in the back of his mind the fear of Hime being in harm's way yet there he stood on the edge of the borderland with the scent of blood filling his nostrils. Yet Jambazi stood there as still as a rock his mind flooding with too many thoughts, he wasn't even sure where to start where to run. Starving, hunting, survival all of that he was use but this was different this was more or less a battle against something that had a somewhat level of intelligence. He should have been use to death, burying part of his family in the ground and turning his back on them yet he was what... worried? He wasn't afraid to die, no it was the fear of never coming back to protect his only two siblings, maybe Idris had been right.
A scream brought him back as a flash of red headed towards him his knees went week as he ducked trying to avoid the attack, letting a growl form in his throat he bore his teeth at the hyena. His body was quivering as he rolled across the ground, crouching as the adrenaline of wanting to live flowed through his body.
"b*****d..." He hissed glaring at the creature before lunging forward his teeth bare.

She did not falter. Could not falter.
Her wild eyes rolled and fixed on the young lion and in the next moment she found purchase on the firm ground beneath her and threw herself straight at him. A snarl was at her throat, sending spittle flying from her teeth as she attempted to grab at him; pluck him from mid-air and crush him against the ground.
In her mind's eye she imagined her teeth hungering around his throat, squeezing the breath as he gurgled and flapped like a dying fish beneath her.
She would crash into him with all her weight behind her unless he managed to avoid it, that much was clear.
