The day had finally come and Mitsu was nervous. Completely and utterly nervous and it wasn't just because she was spending the day with Shun. While it had a small part to do with it a large part of it had to do with her mask. A silly mask and the reaper who had taken it from her. Even now the event lingered in Mitsu's mind and she hadn't slept well because of it.
When Junko came over to help her out the ghoul was quick to the rescue and had done well to take the lycan out to find a replacement. They had gone to quite a few places and shopped through a few masks until Junko finally found the little fox mask Mitsu now had on. It covered most of her face and was somewhat cute but it wasn't what Mitsu was used to. It wasn't her mask. There was just something about the other one she was rather attached to.
Doing her best to keep these feelings to herself Mitsu had worked with Junko to get ready dressing in the light blue top the ghoul had found in her closet and a nice pair of jeans. With a few last minute encouraging words Mitsu was finally off to meet with Shun. She was going to do her best to stay positive, she had been nervous and excited about today. Lizzy had finally told her to tell Shun how she felt and she wanted to. It was just hard to focus on when the prior day's events were so fresh in her mind.

Today was the day. Shun didn't know how to feel about all of this. Lizzy had told him that he could try considering as a not-date but that was not really possible when she wanted him to think about how he felt about Mitsu.
It didn't help that he hadn't really figured that out still.
Grimacing, he checked the time, then tossed on his jacket to head on out. He didn't really know what he was getting himself into here. Well... there was no turning back now. The Reaper just hoped that this wouldn't turn out to be some sort of disaster.
He was... wearing some somewhat nicer clothes than usual. But it wasn't a huge change. Stuffing his hands into his pockets, he started for the door but paused with his hand on the doorknob. Glancing back, he stared across his room. Letting out a sigh, he slowly walked back and put his guitar into its case to sling over his shoulder.
"Can't believe I'm doing this," he muttered under his breath before finally walking out and heading to the meeting point.

The gates leaving school. It seemed to be the usual meet up spot. Mitsu finally arrived and stood around in nervous anticipation. Through all the assurances Mitsu was still leery about how things would go. What if she said something stupid? What if he asked a lot of questions about her mask? Mitsu wasn't sure she could keep a lie going all night.
Looking to her watch she counted away the minutes. It was nearly time for their meet up. She had jumped the gun a little and gotten here early. After another few moments of fidgeting and worrying Mitsu finally had to stop and make herself calm down. This was Shun. She had spent time with Shun before. Worse case scenario it was like any other trip out which really wasn't a bad scenario at all. It was a normal day out with her best friend. And yet, why did that thought really only help to calm her slightly? Huff Puff....

Shun couldn't help but feel a little antsy about this whole thing as well, which was frustrating him quite a bit. Everything that had been plaguing his mind the past week was pounding away at him full blast. He felt a sort of pressure to figure things out soon and fast which was not making him feel all that great over all.
Coming up to the school gates, he looked up, somewhat relieved to see Mitsu standing there. Maybe this won't turn out horrendously. Just a normal outing. Just a normal outing.
... Who was he kidding. This wasn't a normal outing. He had his jack damn guitar with him for crying out loud.
"Hey Mitsu," he greeted, sounding surprisingly normal. As he came by, his expression softened as it tended to do when he saw her. Though, a slight look of confusion hit him as he realized she was wearing a different mask than normal.
"You.. have a new mask."

Mitsu had taken to intertwining her fingers for the time being, staring at the ground wondering would Shun would arrive. When she finally heard his voice she spun around maybe a little too eagerly. "H-Hi!" Calm down, just calm down.
"Y..yeah I uhh..." Mitsu trailed off her brain trying to think of a lie. What to say that would sound convincing? She looked around as if trying to search for clues on the matter but instead spotted something of interest. "Y...you have your guitar." It was more of a curious statement. Why did he have it with him? Maybe he needed to stop by the music store or something.

Raising an eyebrow at the wolf girl as she fumbled over her words, Shun noticed that she seemed to be coming up with an explanation but decided to point out the weird thing with him instead.
"Yeah.. I do," he said simply, shifting the instrument on his shoulder lightly, "You.. didn't have to wear a new mask for today."
He recalled that she had a different mask for Prom, but for that he could see. This was just a.... not-date-outing. Jack dammit, he needed to stop thinking about the circumstances of them hanging out. Dammit Lizzy!
"Well... ready to head out?" he asked quietly. He had the tickets already, though he didn't check what the name of the movie they were apparently watching. Reading. It sucked.

"I uh..." How to explain without having to lie. "Junko helped me pick it out." True. "I..it's a little different. I don't know that I like it." Mitsu said honestly as she poked at the mask on her face. It was very different than what she was used to.
"Y..yeah I'm ready to go. Where are we heading to first?" Lizzy had given Mitsu a sort of layout for the date but no real idea of what would happen first or what they were going to see. It was a mystery.
Curious though Mitsu tilted her head looking up toward the reaper as they started to make their way toward town. "So what brought up this day out?"

"I see... Well.. it looks nice on you," he murmured quietly. It was different, but it wasn't bad. Nodding to her he started to get walking once she said she was ready.
"Um.. to the theater first. I have a couple of tickets," he said. However, Shun paused as she asked what the reason for this was. Between that and not knowing what they were doing, Lizzy must not have told the girl much. He had to bite back his words that she had been the one to set this up. Being that honest wasn't going to make things any less awkward for him.
"I.. just wanted to spend some time is all," he said.
It wasn't exactly a lie. He did want to spend time with her. It just... wasn't the reason for this. DAMMIT LIZZY.
"Here's the tickets," he added while holding them out for the girl. They were for Friday the 13th. The heroic tale of how the legend of Jason Vorhees came about. This is the beginning of his saga.

"Uuh..t..thank you," The complement made Mitsu's cheeks start to heat up, her eyes diverting away in her shy embarrassment. It was nice to know that Shun wanted to spend time with her though. The thought made her heart flutter a little, that nervous feeling creeping back up. When should she tell him? Would the right time present itself?
"Oh the theater?" Mitsu had yet to see a movie here at Amity so she had to wonder what Lizzy Shun had picked out. When Shun held the tickets out for her to look she took them her eyes lighting up a little. "Oh, Friday the 13th!" Mitsu had heard a little bit about it, an epic heroes tale. It was supposed to be really good.
Handing the tickets back Mitsu looked ahead of their path. "I hope it's good. I've heard a couple of people talk about it." There was a bit of a pause before her next question sprang. "Where after that?"

Friday the 13th? Wasn't that aimed for a younger audience? Shun had heard about it too. Did Lizzy really pick out a kid's movie for them? Dammit Lizzy!
"Well, we'll see. I've heard a few things about it too," Shun nodded while looking ahead. This evening was staring to look like it was going to be a long one. But.. at least Mitsu would likely be focused on the movie. Since he wasn't too interested himself, he could spend that time trying to sort things out last minute. It wasn't exactly his ideal thought of what a date would be. Then again, he wasn't really sure what would be ideal... outside of knowing how he felt.
It was starting to make him a little antsy, which wasn't something he wanted.
"After that, it's dinner. It's at some sushi joint," he said while pausing again, "Er... do you like sushi?"

Mitsu was excited now, the movie seemed like a good pick in her mind.
"Oh a sushi place?" She had never been to a place like that before, though it was once in a blue moon when Mitsu ate somewhere nice or ate out really. "I've never had it before." She admitted. "I know what it is though. Raw fish?" The question was there just to confirm. Mitsu liked raw meat so she was certain she would probably like the raw fish.
"Why do you have your guitar with you? Do we need to stop at the music store?" Mitsu was just full of all kinds of questions tonight. Possibly from being nervous she didn't know what else to do. Questions, questions. Sorry Shun. ;w;

"Yes, it's raw fish. And rice. If.. you'd rather we could eat somewhere else," Shun said. Quite frankly, he wasn't sure why Lizzy picked out a sushi place. He could have... made it himself. It'd be cheaper that way too. Dammit Lizzy!
Keeping his hands in his pockets in the meantime, he navigated through the streets to guide them both to the movie theater they needed to go to. The question she tossed at him, had the Reaper hesitating for the moment. He didn't really have a real answer for it.
"I'm not really sure to be honest," he sighed, "I just... felt like bringing it."
He didn't even know if he'd really get around to playing it. For all he knew, he'd just be lugging the thing around all night. At least it wasn't heavy.
There came that strange sense of anticipation again. It was incredibly distracting.

"I..I don't mind. If you would rather eat somewhere else we can." Maybe he didn't feel like sushi today? Mitsu had seen Shun eat it before so she knew it wasn't that he didn't like it. Really she wasn't picky, if he wanted to stop at a fast food place on the way they could.
She followed Shun closely as they made their way through the streets, looking up now and again to make sure no one was in her path. His answer about the guitar was a curious one but Mitsu didn't question it. If he felt like bringing it along who was she to say otherwise. Maybe he would feel like playing later! Mitsu would enjoy hearing him play again.
Up ahead the theater came into view. It was a pretty decent sized place and rather busy already. Reaching out Mitsu took hold of Shun's sleeve so they wouldn't get separated in the crowd. It would do them no good to spend a lot of their time trying to find one another.

"No, that's fine. Just.. want to make sure you'd be up for it," Shun nodded before looking up towards the theater up ahead. His gaze shifted down towards Mitsu for the moment as he felt her tugging at his sleeve as she did now and then. He didn't mind this at least. It also helped make sure that she didn't end up getting lost in the crowd.
"We should be in just in time for the previews. Did.. you want something to drink?" he asked. He didn't mention snacks since they'd get food after the movie.

"Okay then," Mitsu nodded. It would be an interesting experience. If she liked it well enough maybe they could have sushi again some other time.
Moving in through the crowds Mitsu actually found herself shifting this way and that to avoid running into the people tightly packed in the lobby area. Tails and wings everywhere! Not to mention she didn't want to be stepped on. There were a lot of students and adults much bigger than her running about.
"Y..yeah a drink would be good." Mitsu nodded following Shun toward the concessions. "I don't mind what we get." She added not sure if the reaper wanted to share or not. The lycan wasn't above saving money and just splitting things. "Do you want me to buy it?"
