For the afternoon of bundling and juggling predators and prey together and have them feast together was a task. Thankfully, Shamira had been warming enough- for the most part and kept her seeing badger from tormenting her first guest over. It was about that time to share the night alone. Of course, she had to wait til everyone was full, and asleep before leaving. It would be very rude NOT to do so after all. Tucking Shamira in to bed while the seeing badger growled at the fact Amelie was leaving.
"I'm coming back you big opff." Poking his nose. "Such a momma's boy hm~" Smiling before pushing him more in to Shamira. Then turned to see Aiolos snoring loudly already as his whole body was spread out like some dead bird's would. Giggling before she trotted off, kissing his forehead before she left. Fixing her ears back and made sure her fur was right before coming outside the den. Looking around for Subito and once found would happily walk up to him with a basket in hand, like always. Really, what if he had a family to take care of too. What if she had taken him off on this adventure to really have either his...wife worried or his mother! What horror would that be- thankfully she had packed some extra goodies off to the side for them..
The mere thought of.. well.
They laughed, made fun of him but also made jokes about themselves. It was like a big happy family, even with most of them full of sharp teeth. It had went better than what she would even imagen!
"Subito..?" She called out. Did he run off the first chance he got? She wouldn't blame him.

 Subito hadn’t really run off and instead was standing quite still atop a small rock formation, watching the stars, apparently lost in his own thoughts. It was a lot to digest… and he meant it in every possible way. His belly was fuller than he’d ever felt it and he was still considering how close he’d been to the creatures of claw, beak and fang. It wasn’t normal, it wasn’t natural. And yet, in this particular case, it did feel natural. It felt like he belonged in this crazy jumble of species and he didn’t want to let go of that feeling.
In this quiet contemplative mood he didn’t even notice the other hare moving closer. He was simply considering how to say goodbye and stop imposing on Amelie.

When spotted him she quickly wobbled over, then went on all fours to get there faster. He was starring up at the stars, following his gaze when she arrived, she climbed on to the rock with him and looked up with him. A softness in them, she hadn't stopped to look at the stars for quite some time. Heartbreaking, the last time she remembered- those memories. Holding her child in her hand, and not even being strong enough to keep her alive. That's what she thought anyways. It made this moment bittersweet but she knew her children were in a better place now..
A smile softly rose from the edges of her cheeks.. a tear softly racing down her face yet she stayed composed for a moment.. Then snapped out of it after the memories stopped flooding her head. Rubbing a paw against her cheek and clearing her thoat. "Ready to go home..?"

He only noticed Amelie when she joined him in a little star-gazing moment. He smiled at her and then looked up again, completely missing the tear that ran down her cheek. When she spoke again with her voice a little strange, Subito eyed her curiously before the sadness took over his expression. Was she telling him to go already…? Sure, he didn’t want to get in the way of Amelie and her odd family but… but… at the very least he had expected to be the one to breach the subject of his departure.
“Ah yes… I really don’t… want to impose.” He said trying to sound cheerfully and most likely failing miserably. It was clear his smile was fake. His next words sounded very much like a quiet plea. “Can I come back though? Another day?”

Her ears wanted so much to rise but she shook her head out of it with a soft chuckle. Rubbing her face again and smiling. "You are not imposing silly~" With a light nudge of her shoulder against his. "You can come back anytime Subito- your family already, everyone liked you." Nodding. Even forgetting that he prey for that moment, her odd family she had now was like that. Often. Helping each other and soon this place would grow.. while others would leave. The future wasn't here, yet she had dreams like someday, things may change.
"I.. Made some food for your family.." Holding the basket close. "I can walk you to your place if you'd like. I wouldn't want you to go home alone in the dark like this. Not all predators are like my family." Showing that hint of something happening - that she was assuming he had a family, either a mother to go home to or a mate.

“Family…” That was what she’d said, speaking as if he was already part of the odd little ragtag group that surrounded the bright-eyed hare. And yet he was giving him food and sending him on his way. He let out a sad chuckle, looking down at his paws with a conflicted expression.
“You want to come, too? I’m sure any predators out there you find you a very nice dessert.“ While the intention was nice, he couldn’t help but to be concerned over her belief that she alone could protect him against creatures that were much larger and fiercer than two little hares. The mostly likely scenario involved the both of them in a beast’s stomach and the idea made him want to hold her tightly to stop her from doing anything as silly as standing up to a predator… huh, again.
“Hum… I’m not with my family now though. I left my parents and my sister a while ago.” He said slowly, not really trying to get her pity but to imply that perhaps she had packed a little so much food. It would be a shame if it would spoil.

"As if a predator could eat me. I bet they'd spit me out really quick with the fight I'd put up in their stomach." Nodding as she giggling, why had she been so girlly around him? Well motherly was one thing but girly? "Are you living alone? How did you not become a fang's food already!" Putting a paw to his shoulder. Immensely now concerned. "Surely you have a mate? Kits to protect? No?"

He laughed with her softly even though he was still concerned over her safety, the sound of her giggles alone was enough to make him smile. He hated to think of what could happen to her after he was gone.
“Ah, no… I am alone.” he said quickly, surprised by the sudden string of questions and the intensity that came with them. “Sure, I hope to find a mate… someday… but…” And for some reason he had to suddenly look away, a light shiver running down his spine as she touched him. It was only then that he finally realized what was going on. He liked this place. He liked that silly ragtag group of hers. But, most of all, he liked… her.
“Hum… Amelie…” he started hesitantly, afraid to meet her eyes this time. “Can I stay here… just a little bit longer…?”

She was preening with her concern and the light touch to his shoulder which traced down his back when he turned away from her. Oh, had she upset him. "Did something happen-" No, she couldn't impose that question on him. "You can stay as long as you'd like.. only if you feel like you can. I don't want to impose my ideals of predator and prey families if you feel unsafe. " Shaking her head with a very happy tone when she slowly bent down and sat with her hind legs dangling down the rock.
"Sorry.." Putting the basket in her lap as she looked up at the stars again. "I didn't want to say goodbye." Closing her eyes and putting a paw on her cheek in a dreamy state. "This hasn't happened in so long.. I feel like a child again."

“Oh, I don’t mind them… as much as I thought I would. They’re kind of… fun.” Subito said with a tiny grin before he looked at stargazing hare next with a completely different expression, trying to make sense of her last words, hoping she felt the same way he did.
“Idiot! Something words just get in the way!”
How many times had his sister said those words to him? He didn’t know what to say. He didn’t want to hope for too much. He didn’t want to leave. But he also didn’t know how to put all those feelings into words and so, very slowly, he left one of his paws slide down to grab hers and his eyes sought the stars once again, a gentle – hopeful - smile slowly pushing at the edges of his mouth.

With the delayed reaction when the quietness seperated them, a paw slid beneath hers and she looked up with a face of awe. Maybe this right here wasn't so bad.. she leaned against his hand that she clapped with her own. "I'm scared.. " Her heart was pounding in to her ears! That's how much it thumped with how her cheeks lit up. Then the visions came spiraling in. First she squinted of the pain.. then the swirling images of the future and past jumbled up together made her drop the basket and fall forward.. An unknown seer- she didn't have any control over it and sometimes it would come and go but her emotions were so heartfelt that it accessed that part of the seer ability to flood in..

“Amelie…?” Subito asked quietly when the other hare appeared to be in some kind of pain. “Are you alright?” he held her close, a hint of panic in his voice. “What’s wrong, what happened?” He looked around for but everyone else was asleep. They might wake up if he were to shout loud enough, he assumed. “Should I get the others?”
One question after another, it was clear Subito was having a hard time thinking at that moment. Feeling helpless, he held on tighter still.

Visions so strong made her collapse as the sight wrapped around her and the pain of a certain creature screaming out.. The pain was so great that it took all her energy from her. In his arms which her facial expressions seemed to take on the pain as her paw grabbed on to his arm and dug in to his fur. Pushing her head in to him as she went through all the emotions of the pain in the sight.. reliving it like if it was her own before she screamed out and woke up clenching her paws against him.. Tears swelling in her eyes..
Letting go only to curl her arms around her head in pain..
Memories of her own children came in to view and that hurt worse- because that lioness had the same thing happen to her.. Why was she plagued with these daydreams? She wouldn't ever think she has 'sight' but the pain was so real.. waking almost seemed the same as the dream.. Pawing with her free arm against her face trying to wipe the tears away...

“Amelie?!” Subito called frantically over her screams. “Is it you head? It’s your head, isn’t it?” He had a million questions on his mind but she didn’t seem to be in a condition to answer any of them. He couldn’t decided if he should take Amelie to the river where he could put some water on her face or if he should go to her friends instead. In the end, he decided on the latter. After all, they might know what to do and if they did decide to go get some water, at least they could protect them. It wasn’t a good idea for two hares to go around screaming in the open. It’s was like they were advertising free meals.
“Amelie. Let’s go get the others.” He said firmly, grabbing her paw and pulling her closer.

Curling up as much as possibly could in her state.. It was like being awake yet asleep and it tasked her to see the sights and feel the pains. Ripping out of her and she exhaustedly tired of the sight.. enough that she slumped down without the energy even needed to sniffling..
But out of the brush of where they were.. "It's the gift of sight. The little one has it too." Arbi said. "There isn't a thing we can do." The honey badger, the sight seeing badger for the blind wilddog in their group. He had been in tone with the personalities set off with the group. Along with their secrets that even they didn't know about. Amelie would NEVER admit to having sight- she believes they are day dreams. "When stuck in that state- its hard to get out of until it ends." Ears went down as he looked down at her.. His silver pelt- now looking blue with the night.
Coming closer and softly approved them with eyes of pure understanding. "All we can do is watch..."
