After a long class of robot battling, Bea was depressed that she lost during the first round. It seemed so clear to her that she was going to win, too. Disappointed in her crummy ramming robot, she decided to work on an easier crafting project.

Home-made hair accessories.

Since her room was filled with water, making anything in there was not possible. She grabbed some hair pins, hair clips, fabric, pearls, scissors and glue. Bea put all her things in a bag, walked out of the ghost dorms and found a nice spot outside under a large tree. The area was nice and open with a few students walking around to make it a comfortable place to watch them go about their business. Bea laid down a blanket on top of the grass and arranged her supplies around her for easy access.

"There~!" she said as she dusted her hands off, "Now I can do a little crafting project with some fresh air." Bea looked down at her things and contemplated which to start with and what design. "Oh! I know! I'll make a cute flower headband!" Clapped her hands together and began cutting fabric out.

Get the torterror. Get the torterror!

There was a little ghost torterror running (well more like waddling) down the path at Amityville, and a fire demonness directly in tow. Danny had spotted the little sucker on her way to the maceball field. What was her reaction to any moving object? CHASE IT.

The torterror hopped over a few stray benches, and even dragged her through a bush. She was attached to the thing like a bee on honey. Sure, some people were giving her funny looks, but once she caught that torterror, it would all be worth it. She knocked over a trashcan, and the torterror just gave her a cartoon-like creepy smile. Not. Cool.

The torterror ran and trampled over some cloth that a ghoul was working on in the field. Danny lunged for the thing-

and landed straight on Bea's cloth, belly-flop style.

"Owww," she mumbled. Wait. Legs? Dress? Was there a person he- OHHH. "OOPS! SORRYYYY," she apologized as she got off the cloth. "Really, really sorry. Didn't mean to crumple your cloth stuff. Seriously. Sorry," though she said it about five times, Danny was busy searching the surrounding area for the torterror, obviously distracted by it. Just where had that sucker gone? "You didn't see where that torterror went, did you?"

Cutting here, cutting there. Bea was enjoying her nice break until she heard crashes and all sorts of noises coming from the path. "Hm? What's making all that noi---" Bea said to herself but got interrupted by her realization that the torerror was heading towards. A student had been attached to it, persistent, and not letting go. "No! NO! NO! NO! NONONNOONONONONO! NOOOOO!" Bea cried out as she practically watched them stampeding over her supplies.

Then the fire tailed ghoul landed right in front of her. "Ah-- uh---" Bea was speechless! Her eyes quickly darted from one thing to another. Her cloth was completely dirty and wrinkled, the supplies were all over the place and out of order. Bea couldn't believe how fast her things went flying in the air and her beads were scattered all over the grass. "W-what have you done?!" She yelled.

As the ghoul was apologizing, Bea immediately flopped down vertically to the ghoul and dug her head into, the now unpleasant, blanket. "No, I did not see where that torerror went..." she sighed. "W-why did you have to chase it over here?" Tears were forming in the ghost ghoul's eyes, saying it as if the fire ghoul did it on purpose.

Danny got up and dusted herself off, clearly detached from whatever derailment Bea was showing. If Bea was upset, Danny would've never known. Not until she started straight out bawling anyways. Okay, she probably wouldn't even recognize it then.

Hey wait- she knew this ghoul! Danny's face lit up as she recognized Beatrix from the Movie Club. "Heyyy! I know you. You're that Bea ghoul, right?" Danny nodded her approval as Bea continued to yell at her for the cloth.

Looking down, Danny realized she had done quite a bit of damage to the cloth. "Oops," was all she said in response to Bea's accusations.

With that, Danny plopped down onto the grass next to Bea and attempted to make the pieces of cloth and pieces fit together. Honestly, she just looked like a scareling trying to smash a puzzle piece into a spot where the piece clearly did not go. Arts and crafts was not her forte.

Just when the fire ghoul addressed her by her nickname, Bea opened her eyes in realization. "Y-Yeah... And you're Danny! You came to movie club a couple of times!" She watched Danny attempt to fit the pieces together. "Um... It's okay." taking the cloth from the fire ghoul's hands, "If you'd like to help, would you mind picking up the beads in the grass where you're sitting?"

Danny nodded furiously and said, "Yeah! Yeah! That's who I am!!" It was a good thing Bea picked up on things so quickly, otherwise the twosome might've never gotten anywhere.

Beads? Danny glanced around in the grass and did indeed find beads of all different shapes, colors and sizes. The fire ghoul was instantly drawn to the orange ones, but then, she was a bit biased. She began inching through the grass like a hound, picking through each blade to make sure all of the beads were picked up. Actually, she looked rather hilarious on all fours like a dog so close to the grass.

But a task completed was a task completed. When she was absolutely sure she had all of the thrown beads, she held them out for Bea to accept. She politely (polite for Danny anyways) apologized saying, "Um. I'm really really really sorry for dropping your beads and flattening your cloth and stuff."

She gave an innocent, if not somewhat awkward, smile. The torterror was already completely gone from her mind.

Bea giggled at Danny as she watched her crawling around for the beads. She really truly appreciated the fire ghoul's help as an apology for her things. "Nah, it's quite alright," she said with a forgiving tone.

It seemed Danny was interested in the little orange beads, and coincidentally matched her hair to boot. Bea thought for a moment, not necessarily scheming but more thinking of how they could get to know each other better. Seeing as they were in the same club and all. Since Bea was still a fairly new student, she could use some help...

"You know! You can make it up to me by sharing any information you know about the school or the students around campus! Like... Who is your favorite teacher? Or better yet... Any gossip you know that might be floating around school?"

"How do I make it up at you. I mean I can make stuff up, but I can't do it towards you ..." Danny was thoroughly confused by the simple colloquialism.

Well, if Bea wanted to make pretend, Danny was more than happy to oblige. It wasn't exactly a secret that Danny had the imagination of a four year old. And the personality of one too. And the daily habits.

Let's face it, Danny was a four year old in a 17 year old's body.

Scratching her head, she said, "Uhmmm ... okay well. My favorite teacher is fluffy spiderkins the third ... and uhm ..." Was that even a teacher here? Well Bea did say to make it up right? Danny was just following instructions!

Danny made a sort of disgusted face and said, "We have ghosts called Gossips? I never knew!" She relaxed herself further on the grass, and said, "Of course, I haven't seen any floating around the school, sorry." She frowned a bit, delving deep into her memory to try and recall any Gossips she'd seen around the school.

Bea furrowed her eyebrows at Danny’s gib jab that is coming out of her mouth, “Wait wha—Fluffy…” This was beginning to get less intriguing and far more confusing. Bea didn’t understand why was Danny saying all these things when all she wanted to do was get to know the ghoul.

She shook her head to snap herself out of confusion and held up the little hairpin. It had orange beads decorated with a matching orange flower. Bea turned to Danny to give the hair accessory to her, but she was caught off guard yet again.

“Ghosts called Goss--- No! That’s not what I meant!” Bea began to laugh. “I meant, have you heard anything interesting lately?” The little orange beads glistened in the light. “Oh, I made this for you! You put it in your hair… like… this…” She held it up to her head, showing Danny.

Had she heard anything interesting? There wasn't really anything interesting going on at the moment- after all, maceball season hadn't started, and school was school. It was fun going to all of her classes, but only to see everyone. Danny hated every aspect of school except the "people" part. Homework and projects were the worst, and teacher lectures quickly had her falling asleep.

Danny was about to tell Bea she hadn't heard anything when a shiny object in her peripheral vision caught her off guard. Bea was holding up a shiny hair pin, and it was for ... her? She was getting ... a present?

"This ... is for me?" Danny said, as she snatched the pin from her new friend's hand. At first, she just held the pin like it was her baby, but then she attempted squishing it into her hair. It wasn't turning out as nicely as Bea's were.

At first, Bea was startled by how Danny suddenly took the pin from her hand, but her wide eyes quickly relaxed when she saw how excited she was receiving the hairpin. Bea nodded with a smile as she watched Danny attempt to pin her hair up.

"Oh, uh... Let me help you," Bea said as she gently took the hairpin from Danny. "Here," holding up the pin, "like... this!" the flower looked very pretty in Danny's hair. Bea was very proud to make something so quick and easily please her new friend.

Danny bounced in her seat with delight, like a giggling toddler. A present! A present just for her! Danny immediately went into a hug for Bea, forgetting about the whole "other Halloween citizens didn't like fire" thing. No need to bother about that when she was busy BEING EXCITED!

Suddenly a flash caught her eye. A ghostly flash, to be exact.

A torterror flash.

Danny was up on her feet before Bea could even say anything, and she immediately took a step in the torterror's direction. Hesitantly, she looked at Bea, then back at the torterror, then back at Bea. She wanted to chase the torterror! Yet ... she also didn't want to leave her new friend.

Instinct and desire immediately took over. Danny started running with a goofy smile on her face, and shouted, "Sorry I'll see you later I have things to chase and catch and YEAH!" back at Bea. By the time she had finished the sentence, she was already gone.

"I'm so glad you li---" Before Bea could say anymore, Danny was already running off chasing that torterror. She watched the ghoul give chase to the creature until she could no longer see them.

"See you later, Danny," Bea smiled.
