Roll one 6-sided die to determine injury from the fall. All senshi can subtract 4 points from their roll on account of they are magical and stuff. If your roll drops below zero, you were not injured.

1-2 = partial deafness / mild concussion
3-4 = winded, significant gash on an appendage
5-6 = dislocation/fracture of an appendage

Bodies sailed and cartwheeled through the air. Some were doused in slime, others were injured, many still were still recovering from the shock of their colorful transformations. This was all compounded on the oddity of civilians in space, making for one very confusing evening.

The path they landed on was ornate -- rococo in appearance, for any history buffs. It was a distinct change from the bright rainbow path from the previous battle. From where the civilians had landed, a castle was visible -- but whose was it? And how had that managed to land here, of all the places in the entire Surrounding?

...and was that whale coming back?

Perhaps Soldier Leo and his fancy mask could answer that question.

For someone who was usually subjected to playing in make-believe odd environments, when faced with something more real Anders was sent absolutely reeling. It was hard for him to keep track of what was happening from one moment to the next. The thing that stuck out for him the most was Hawke saving his pathetic mage life from a giant bat. The most current thing that was on his mind was the sensation of flying through the air. It was almost like flying! But, mages did not fly.

Mages really did not fly.

Anders landed in the most excruciating way a healing mage could ever manage. His left arm had already been through enough today, and was flopping uselessly at his side. So, it hadn't helped one bit when Anders landed on it. He had no idea what he had just done to it, but it was not good. The oddly-clad self-acclaimed apostate cried out in agony, his good arm clutching his useless left arm, as if that would somehow stem the pain. It didn't work. His mana had to be completely drained or something, because he could not heal worth jack s**t right now.

"Hawke?"

He needed his tank. He needed his champion. Looking around, he saw a small group of faces, but not one was his Hawke. "Hawke!?" his voice, etched in pain, called out for his warrior. She did not answer. He was starting to consider himself a very dead mage at this point. "Has anyone seen Hawke? She's my age, and is wearing an outfit sort of like mine. Is Hawke here? Hawke?" He was useless without Hawke!

While everyone had been busy flailing at the whale, Jarold had been typing away and noting down all the nitty gritty details. Still, he trusted his memory enough to remember in case his phone battery failed him, and a little tweak of facts here and there wouldn't hurt. Right?

Then suddenly, he was catapulted through the air and the next thing he knew, he crashed right into the rainbow path, landing directly on his shoulder.

Pain shot through his body and for a moment, it felt as though his vision and hearing blurred; he couldn't properly see or hear. He probably broke his shoulder or something. He couldn't really tell; he wasn't a medical expert, after all. It wasn't in his job description to know first aid, after all. He was just the curious bystander scribbling away, not exactly caring what happened. "Damn." He ground out, breathing heavily as his vision slowly adjusted back to normal. Lying just a few feet away from him was Kaylin and he tilted his head over to her. "You okay, nurse?"

The day jsut seemed to keep going from bad, to really bad, to REALLY REALLY bad, to holy hell can we wake up now guys?

The whale they had been in not only ate them like skittles, it also decided apparently they gave it heart burn. Sure things were glowing already in it, but it was apparently too much for the big guy. Feeling like a over sized sardine... her brain couldn't help but think one thing while she stared at the stars whirling by...

"...How am i breathing?"

Practical, but all logic failed next as she landed with a rather undignified CRUNCH on her left arm. She had already a pretty nice gash on it from the bat, but this..this was excruciating pain. Mirroring Anders, whom had also seemed to be playing bad luck on the same arm.

She gave out a rather pitiful whine, tearing up some but keeping it back. No. She must be strong for everyone!

"...Is...is anyone hurt bad?" She ignored her own mind that told her to bandage her own arm, choosing to help others. Nurses in their own ways could be suicidal! "Its not much but i have some medical supplies on me." She indicated towards her bag, which was still happily with her. "....Oh god i lost a few things!" She left it open, so now a few of the things within were missing. Including one of the rolls of gauze, and her badge.

Well.. that would be fun to explain the next time she came to work. 'Sorry Ronnie, my badge is floating around in space with magical space boys probably playing tennis with it.'

Turning around, she couldnt help but smile. "Oh thank god a familiar face." She did not answer the 'are you ok' line, she knew she wasnt and chose to ignore it at the moment. "Are you ok?" Hypocrite, she was one.

Every so often, he had to wonder just what god he pissed off, and this was one of them. He was covered in slime, injured, had been eaten by a whale, and now, flung through space. Seriously.

Luckily, he landed without another major injury, gaining only a minor bump to his head. "Today is just not my day," he said, and then sat up from where he was sprawled on the ground.

It wasn't half as colorful as the other road, and Ian was slightly greatful for that. Perhaps the Space Whale was only attracted to bright colors. "I haven't seen her," He called out in response to Anders question. "Sorry." He seemed to be seriously upset about the fact that she wasn't there, and he made a note to keep an eye on him. "I'm sure she's okay wherever she is. "

Raven let out a cry as she met the ground after the blast.
Her left arm was in searing pain, What...what had happened?

She looked around, and let out another moan upon realizing that she knew no one that was around her. s**t. What could have happened to her friends...both old and new ones...?

When the girl sat up, she glanced at her throbbing arm, and seemed scared as it hung at a strange angle from the shoulder.

Oh no...could it get any worse?

"C...Does anyone know..." Oh god. "How to pop a shoulder back into socket?" She called out meekly, almost dreading the possibility of finding someone.

Too much was happening at once. The civilians, already injured and unable to fathom even the beginnings of what to expect, were landing around a road that he recognized: ornate and beautiful, it stretched for miles toward his Outpost, its surface covered in painstakingly depicted figures of women and men in rococo style. A few people landed before him, impacting hard and rolled across the surface, but Leo landed with both grace and style. His brow knit behind his mask, boots clipping neatly along the road while he quickly strode toward one of the civilians on the ground.

Extending a hand, he helped them up, then glanced around as others fell. Thankfully, they began to help one another, speaking amongst themselves; he was a bit overwhelmed looking at the collection of people around him. They were entirely unequipped to be there, and Leo was entirely unequipped to handle them. Not only was he a distance from his Outpost, but he had no idea exactly how severe their injuries were, or even where all of them were landing. It seemed that the collection of people had been bundled closely, but the numbers around him were significantly smaller than those who had been in the midst of the battle.

First things first -- he needed to wait for all of them to land, and then he would address them as a group. If he needed to carry anyone, he would, but he needed to take roll and see who was able to get to his outpost on their own stead, and who would need assistance. He had no idea if there would be a round two with the gigantic space whale, and he didn't want to risk having them out in the open any longer than he had to.

Frederick St. James was of the opinion that if he ever got out of this mess he would never eat seafood again.

Ever.

Or anything that was green either, for that matter.

He hit hard ground.

"OW GDI - "

After a few brief (and embarrassing) moments of tumbling, whacking, and basically feeling as if he were going through a blender, hitting both his head and every other appendage he had on whatever it was that he had landed on, Fritz finally came to a very ungraceful stop. He pushed himself up - a bad idea - and swayed slightly, his head reeling so much he felt dizzy, his vision swaying in and out in a sickening sort of way.

It took only a short while, and eventually the dizziness passed, leaving Fritz feeling a little shaky and more than a little disgruntled. He got to his feet rather unsteadily, and with one hand pressed against the side of his head, glanced around at their surroundings.

...where the eff am I?

This was certainly not that sparkly rainbow place they'd been before - a long, almost elegant path, ornate and almost Victorian looking in appearance (at least from his point of view), and leading towards...a castle? Fritz stared at it a little stupidly before turning to face the others that had made it where he was.

...and promptly realized that his left ear was not exactly working properly. He could hear them talking, but it was as if from a distance, watery and garbled. His right ear seemed perfectly fine, but the left...he must have been standing too near the whale or something.

"IS EVERYONE OKAY?" Fritz said, probably too loudly, but he was busy attempting to shake his head like he was trying to get nonexistent water out of his ear.

She had been lucky so far. Ridiculously stupid lucky. Heck.. she was even pretty lucky now, all things considered.

When the whale had sucked and spit them into space, the wonderful mellow yellowness had washed away, letting all the fear and nervousness and OMGWTF return to the timid woman as she spiraled through the stars. Most of the trip had been spent with eyes squeezed shut and fist clenched, a tiny scream emitting from her.

Her landing was not remotely graceful, a soft "omphhhf" escaping her as the air was forced out of her lungs from her improptu belly flop. Her arm ached, and when she looked she would find red beginning to stain her silk blouse sleeve and a wide tear. Her glasses were kind of bent up too, and she fiddled with them for a moment to restraighten them while trying to push back the many strands of hair that had escaped her bun in all the commotion.

When she had enough breath to do it, Menthe pushed herself up from the ground, eyes searching to find that the huge group had been cut considerably. There weren't any faces she knew of course.. and softly she rubbed her aching shins.

With all the emotion back after the brief, but wonderful, escape from them, it was impossible for her NOT to cry. The poor mousey little secretary simply sat there, sobbing quietly into her hands.

Why were there whales in space? And why was it trying to eat them? Would it come back? Where was everyone else? Where they going to die? Almost certainly! They'd already lost so many. It was hopeless, so very very hopeless.

This was the absolute worst day of Prosper's entire life.

The Captain of the Zodiacs had assured them all that they were neither dead nor dreaming. At first, this hadn't seemed like such a bad thing. Despite the fact that he was somehow, inexplicably, walking along a rainbow road at the edge of something called the Surrounding when he should have been at home enjoying cranberry juice by the pool, the reality of the situation didn't seem so bad.

And then Moby d**k fell out of the ******** sky, and everything else went to hell.

Prosper's memory of the fight was tainted by the fact that he hadn't been able to hear anything, and his sandals had magically transformed into spears. The former was important, because he'd spent more time bumping backwards into people and screaming himself hoarse than actually contributing to the battle. The latter was just plain weird.

Weird things made poor, put-upon Prosper so terribly uncomfortable.

Discomfort made him cranky. Except. To say that he was cranky now would be incorrect.

Prosper was furious, and driven by that fury out of his fear into a state of perpetual purpose. He wanted to go home. He wanted to be someplace safe and ordinary, where he could snore away the evening's disastrous events while working on his complexion.

It was way passed passive o'clock. Prosper was going to get s**t done.

At least-- Prosper was going to make sure other people got s**t done.

His landing on this new path was neither graceful nor graceless, and marked by a wicked ringing in his ears. Prosper took his fingers to them, attempted to clear the noise, and then gave up after a moment and sulked where he sat.

"I'm never going to be able to hear properly again."

If Ian was an anime character, a pair of ears would have just perked up at the sound of Fritz's voice. He wasn't alone! Yay! He stood up carefully, aware of the slime on his socks, and made his way over to the other boy. He might not have the answers, but at least he was familiar.

"I'm alright." he answered once he found himself next to the older boy. "Are you okay?"

Well, alright was a bit of an understated term, he didn't have any new injuries, but he still had everything the bat had inflicted on him.

Bela sighed as she sat up trying not to cry in pain as her arm, the one with the hurt wrist had a rather nasty gash in it. She was trying to tear off pieces of her pirate shirt to see if she could bandage it herself. Despite the fact there was still vibrant blue goo from the whale on it.

"Someone mind giving me a hand with this?" Bela asked as she was having trouble tearing her shirt sleeve since her wrist wasn't quite moving like it should, s**t that hurt; and the only thing she could really use was her teeth... She glanced around having heard the nurse speak but not catching which one it was. So in a frustrated tone she added, "I can't get my sleeve torn off to bandage my freaking arm."

Anders was slowly having to face the realization that Hawke wasn't here. Ian had just confirmed it for him, but that didn't stop the young man from helplessly searching the faces for his Champion of Kirkwall. God, he was a horrible mage, letting himself get seperated from the one person that needed him the most. "I hope so," he replied grimly. If Hawke wasn't okay by the time he found her, he didn't think he could live with himself, or live with whatever had done her in. But, she was Hawke! ********> Hawke! She could take care of herself far better than Anders could take care of himself. He had to have faith in that she'd be all right. Otherwise he'd likely drive himself crazy worrying over her well-being. Hawke was like a sister to him, and being separated from her was a worse pain than the one vibrating throughout his arm.

Though, that pain was still easier to tend to. He heard that someone had medical supplies, and Anders wasn't someone who would pass the opportunity up to get some treatment. "I uh, I'm hurting pretty bad!" he called out, thinking that it was an understatement. He was bleeding from multiple places, and had likely broken more than two bones. It felt like he had broken everything in his left arm. His right arm managed to get through the ordeal unscathed. "I think I could really use some help, actually," his voice bubbled on the edge of panic. Okay, he was really hurting. He had to be excused if he wanted to cry a little.

Anders had little to no idea what was going on, still, but he assumed that it was best to get himself taken care of and then figure out the rest. He had to make sure he could walk around without screaming in agony, and then maybe he could start looking for Hawke. Knowing her, she'd go towards that castle too, if she could see it. If she ended up in a group like he was, then she should be okay. If she didn't... well, he wasn't going to think about that. He had to believe that she was all right, or his sanity would break.

Raven hesitated then made her way to Bela, using her right hand to help tear the girl's sleeve. "Hey...I'm Raven...It's...nice to meet you...even though...circumstances...suck..."

She gave a little laugh then sighed. "Hey, think when you get this bandaged...you can help pop my shoulder back in?"

She was still half numb with pain from her left side.
