Now this was going to be fun, he'd rather enjoyed having this pair in class and to have them back for a secondary class would be interesting. It was such a different sort of class as well, this time instead of a more mental sort of class that involved following directions and the like, this one was going to be more physical. He had a feeling that in this one it would be Ryan that did the best at it instead of Ro Honda but it was more of a guess on his part.
Today they were in a different sort of class room, instead of the grassy field terrain they were in a desert based one, it was going to be better for the class that he had set up. Looking inside the classroom he looked over toward where Baroness was sitting, giving a little yawn as she waited for the kids to come along. This wouldn't be the first time that she had been called in for such a class, it had been fun enough to see the little brats flailing about last time in an attempt to play tug o' war with her, this time there were only going to be two of them as well instead of three meaning that they were going to be even more prone to failure. The sad part of all of this was that she was told to be nice to them... bah, as if she wanted to be nice!
"They will be here soon, remember to behave yourself and you will get the prize you want so bad." The only reason that Baroness was helping out in this class was because Orpheus had access to sparkling gems and what dragon wouldn't do anything, even be nice to brats, for those?
Lazing in the hot sand next to her, curled up next to where the coil of thick rope was waiting, was Ter, Baroness's partner. He'd been curious and decided that it would be fun to watch this. He had no idea who the kids were, had only heard a bit about one of them from Maria, and he'd decided that he wanted to meet the kid that Maria was talking so much about and so well about. A friend of hers, huh? He wasn't sure what he thought about her having boy friends but since she was still young she probably wasn't even thinking about such things... didn't know if the boy was though, he was a boy after all and knew how they thought. As such he wanted to get a look at the kid, just in case.

The twins walked into D-corp with their guardian, each one wearing sport gear. Gabriel got a little paper warning him about the activity his babies were about to partake in. Ryan’s tail swished back and forth he was ready to take on a dragon. The other twin looked cute with her pink head band and matching sport shorts, though her face was as cold as stone. Nothing could be worse than getting dirty for the little rhino girl. She kept repeating “I will be given new clothes and I will be able to throw these ones away once I’m done with them” over and over again.
“Well guys you ready” Gabriel asked. Ryan jumped up and down “YES!” his tail started to swish even faster now. Ro rolled her eyes and then crossed her foot, turning her head to the exit. The twenty three your old felt guilty sending Ro-Honda off to do such a physical activity not even he was comfortable with. “I have a feeling your both going to do great” he put on the best smile he had. He bent down and reached his hands out. Both twins got in real close and gave him a hug. Gabriel had a hard time letting them go.
The twins knew what to do and left their father as they walked over to an assistant who led them to the dessert room. Ryan’s eyes grew huge and ran into the vast room “Mr.Solon , Hi How you doing?” he shouted waving to him. He looked at the dragon he was all grins “ I am sooo ready …… sooooooo ready!” he said with great enthusiasm .
The other twin was still at the front door, her eyes looking full of grim and sadness, she looked up at the assistant who just lightly patted her on the back and then walked off. She slowly moved closer to them. Ryan could hardly stand his excitement and ran over to her “Come on Ro ……. Come on for me please just doooo this” he pleaded. Ro-Honda felt like caving in. She just kept repeating what she was promised. She took a deep breath and nodded at Ryan. She couldn’t speak, her words couldn’t come out since she was concentrating hard.
Ryan took her hand and at the fastest paste Ro could go they walked over to Orpheus Solon. “We ready … come on let’s play with dragon already …. Ok!?” he asked real jumpy as he gawked at the magnificent beast. Ro still looked upset just stared at the teacher and waited to be told what to do

Orpheus looked up from what he was doing when he heard the voices of his students... or at least from Ryan, his sister wasn't really the most vocal but seeing her arrive was good. He gave them both a smile, "Welcome back! It's been a while." He said as he walked over to the pair, glad for the sandals he wore as they kept him from sinking in the sand. He couldn't help but to smile a bit seeing how excited Ryan was for the class, sure that it was this sort of class that the boy would prefer as opposed to having to sit around working on origami cranes. From the look on her face though it would be the opposite this time around, a class that Ryan liked that Ro didn't want to do.
He looked between the pair before giving them a smile, "Today should be pretty fun, it's a class that was done once before and is quite a challenge." He said to the pair, looking over at Ro, "Just between us though the girl in my last group to try this wasn't to much of a fan of the idea either, all I ask is that you try." This was one of those classes that the goal of it was a bit difficult and might be something that they couldn't do, but it should at least be fun or so he hoped.
Walking over to where Baroness was lounging he picked up the coil of rope, rope that had a leather wrapped metal ring on one end, "We are going to do a contest of tug o' war today, the two of you against Baroness." He told them, giving them a smile, "It will be individual first, you guys can pick who goes first, and then together as a team you will take her on. It's a test of your strength and determination. So, who wants to try it first?" As he asked that he tossed the ring to Baroness who caught it in her teeth out of the air and awaited her first challenger.

"Me me me me" said Ryan. Who was ready to take on the dragon. The fearless rhino could hardly contain himself. He grabbed onto his shorts because he had to grab onto something. He looked that dragon right in the eyes and started to stretch like his Dad showed him how when playing football. He placed his left hand on his right foot and then placed his right hand on his left. He did this in reputation a few times. He looked up "So do I pull on the rope or the ring" the yellow eyes boy asked.
Ro-Honda was slinking in her skin trying to hide, she just coudn't bealive this was happening. She kept taking big breathes nice and slow. Once she felt a little bit better she did a few stretches herself, once her older sister taught her. She coudn't wait for this to be over.

Orpheus gave the rope a little tug to make sure that the dragoness had a good hold on it before offering it to Ryan, "You get the rope end, Baroness gets the ring since she doesn't have any hands." He explained, motioning to the dragoness who had only back legs and no front ones, instead she would walk on the back feet and her wings when moving slowly, only on the back ones when running, "You get a good hold on the rope and I will count to three."
He looked over at Ter who turned to look at his dragon partner, "Try to behave yourself with the girl." He said, always much softer when it came to girls. When it came to other guys though he was a little harder on them because he saw them as competition... or worse when it came to this one he saw Ryan as a boy that might in the future want to mess around with his sister. As such he had to keep a close eye on him and maybe mess with him a little... not that he said as much to his father or the kid though.
Near to him the dragoness merely chuckled as she seemed to catch what he meant, so she didn't have to as easy on this one, huh? Fun. Her long, barbed tail set to swishing behind her as she waited for the counting to begin...
"One... Two... Three!" Orpheus counted before giving a snap of his fingers to allow the dragon and rhino to start to pull.

Ryan held on to the rope as started to pull, he found his feet sinking into the sand and before he knew it he was over the dragons head and on the other side of her. He was still holding on to the rope, and it was now dangled around the dragon. "WAWHOOOO" Ryan shouted as he smiled "I wanna do that once more" Ryan stated.
The other twin looked around, her eyes opened even more then they had been " I don't want to do that" she stated. She looked right up at the teacher. Ryan started to run over to them.

Orpheus gave a bit of a groan as the wyvern nearly sent the kid flying. It was only the fact that the boy had a good grip on the rope that kept him from doing just that, "Baroness! Behave or you aren't going to get your payment for this class." The teacher called to her, shaking his head before looking at Ter, "Get the rope untangled from around her, please."
Turning around to face Ro he gave her a bit of a smile, "You don't have to worry about that happening to you." He reassured her, turning to look at Baroness with a narrow eyed look, "She won't do that again or else she won't get her treasure for helping out in the class." The dragon didn't do anything for free and if she had her treasure taken from her.. well that would likely ruin the wyvern's entire day... there was a grumbling sound from her and she shifted in place, tightening her grip on the ring.
"I will behave." She said between gritted teeth, not because she was told to be by this human but because she wanted her treasure. Not to mention that her boy already told her to be nice to the girl. Ter was weak when it came to females, it was going to end up getting him into trouble one day if you asked her, "Come on then, girl, let's get this over with."

Ro-Honda eyes began to water, she couldn't stop shaking. Not even at the funeral of her sister did she cry. She so badly wanted to run away and be back on the farm playing with fabric and enjoying the company on the farm. She felt a hand on hers. Ryan smiled “its ok sis you can do this" he smiled.
"Hurt?" she asked. Ryan smiled "Nope not even a scratch" his thick hide did come in handy. She looked over at him "You come, show how" she stated. Ryan nodded. The two twins hand in hand walked over to the rope. Ryan placed his hands over hers and showed her how to grip. He even pulled on the rope for her and she tugged it a little bit. Ro-Honda then mimicked him and placed her feet the way he had them. She tugged the rope once then sighed.
Once he felt ok he gave thumbs up to the teacher saying Ro was ready to take this on. She didn't half even half the grip Ryan did, but she was at least trying.

Baroness starred at the girl as she came over, watching her closely, then watched as she got help from her brother to figure out how to best pull at the rope... as though that flying fool had any clue she thought to herself, amused. Her tail swished for a moment before she waited for the girl to get ready, then they were both pulling... When it came to the girl the wyvern didn't fling her around, didn't even pull to terribly hard. The girl seemed odd as well as a bit on the weak side, as such there was no reason to put to much effort into this. Might as well let her enjoy the game instead of throwing her around like she'd done to the brother.
After a time of pulling on both sides the teacher called for them to halt, "Alright, Ryan. Do you want to help your sister out and try it as a team? You can have another solo go at it if you want after a team try."
The idea of the team try had Baroness debating how to go about it, she did so want to knock the boy over or something but couldn't be mean to the girl... this wasn't fun, not at all she thought with a bit of a mental pout and a little growling sound as she waited for the two to get ready.

"Yea, me and my sis are better together" Ryan had never said that before. He almost looked taken back by the comment. Ro-Honda looked up "After this, done?" her eyes looked rather concerned. Ryan whispred "Yeppers, but remember that time you got upset and was able to run fast, I can do that too, I tink if we both do it, we can show that dragon" he stated with a happy tone.
Ro nodded but she really didn't care. Ryan took her hand and they both walked over to the rope "Ok you go there and face your back to the dragon" He pointed to the back of rope, he took the front closest to the dragon and showed his sister how to stand. Once they were both ready he gave his thumps up. When he heard "three" from the teacher he shouted "CHARGE" both twins used all the force in there body to pull the rope. They felt a little movement before both twins were sent backwards into the sand.
Ryan was able to hold on to his rope but Ro-Honda had let go. Ryan got up and ran to her "You ok sis" he asked. She had tears in her eyes once more. Ryan took a deep breath and kneeled "Give me your left foot" he asked. Ro-Honda got up and placed her left foot in his hands. The brother took her shoe of and emptyed the sand. He did the same for the other foot. He then dusted as much sand as he could off of her. She then hugged him "Thanks" she stated. Ryan nodded "OK , I'm ready to try the dragon once more by myself" he said with joy.
Ro, slowly walked back to the teacher taking lots of little breaths. She was doing her best to hold herself together.

Orpheus was impressed, and Baroness not so much, when the two rhino twins pooled their energy and went into a charge, forcing the wyvern to take a step forward before she was able to use her weight to compensate for the well thought out 'attack'. Her hold on the leather wrapped ring tightened and she gave a good, hard yank on it pulling the pair forward and into the sand. While she knew that she was supposed to be nice to the girl child, something she had done when it was her alone, she wasn't going to allow the two to escape unscathed after they were able to make her take that step. There was no way that she was going to continue to play nice just because Ter had a weak spot for the females from D-Corp, her pride wouldn't allow it.
Spitting the ring out she turned and asked in a deep, guttural voice, "Are we done yet?" She was through, not wanting to play this game any longer... and that was when she heard the boy say that he wanted to try it once more on his own. Turning to give him a long look the wyvern gave a bit of a smirk, "Oh?" Was that so? Fine then, they would continue this game then, wouldn't they? This time she meant to really show him how to fly...
The red haired teacher took a long look at the wyvern before shaking his head, "How about a tug of war against Ter?" He asked, motioning to the snake. Better that he face an opponent that didn't look as though he wanted to eat Ryan at the moment... of course Orpheus would have no idea that Ter had anything against the kid. Not just because he was male but also because he was a male that was to close to Maria. Turning his attention then to Ro he gave her a smile, "You did very good, the pair of you working together was even enough to make her take a step. That's better then I have seen yet in this sort of class." He praised the girl, nodding before turning to see what Ryan and Ter would do.
Much to his surprise his son had picked up the ring in his scaly hands and waited to see what Ryan might do.

The rhino girl crossed her legs as she watched her brother pick up the rope. She looked over at the teen and looked at her brother she shrugged. It was a fifty and fifty chance in her mind. Ryan rubbed sand on his hands to wipe away the sweat. He did a few more stretches. He played rough with plenty of older boys so he felt good holding his own. He then pulled with all his might his feet went to the sand and he used all his power inside of him. He felt the might of Ter and he dug a little deeper. He could now feel his small muscles twitching but he didn't let go.

The rest of the class, or more like battle of wills, Orpheus, Baroness, and Ro were left to watch as Ter and Ryan both tugged at the rope without either giving an inch. It was a more even battle then the one that Ryan had earlier been waging against Baroness, more fair as well and it was one that had Orpheus taking down a few more notes on the clipboard.
It wasn't long before the father of the twins arrived to pick them up, the red haired teacher filled him in on everything that had happened including Ro taking on the challenge despite her obvious dislike of the sand. The man seemed to be quite pleased with the news that the pair had once more passed their class showing that, with a bit of encouragement they could pass the tests of both the mind and the body.
The moment the twins and their father were headed out Ter slithered up onto Baroness's back and the pair left as well, taking an elevator to the roof so they could head out while the other three left in the second elevator. Left alone Orpheus set to work with the simple clean up then went to his office to take his notes on the class, things that were always sent to the Boss so that Alan was aware of all that was going on in the building.
