"Tag Swagger, reporting to you live, Channel 6 News," Tag signed off, standing outside the townhome of one of the missing civilians. The camera's red light flickered off, cueing Tag to be off-air. Still, he stood his place for a moment longer in case the studio had to be called back to him. As he stood, however, he noticed a strange sight in his peripheral - there was someone on the adjacent rooftop. He tapped his foot, eager to see what it could be.

"That's a wrap," the cameraman Keith called.

"I'll be right back," Tag said, handing him the microphone. He then gave him a light pat on the shoulder. "Actually, I'll meet you back at the studio in a bit."

Keith shrugged and loaded equipment into the van, started it up and started to drive off as Tag quickly crossed the street and into an alleyway. Within seconds he had transformed into the Lieutenant Osumilite. He leapt from the ground three-stories up to the rooftop where the figure stood.

"Lieutenant Benitoite," Osumilite smirked, relieved it wasn't a threat but a familiar ally instead. "What brings you here?"

He'd been looking for the other for little over an hour when he'd finally found him. Hoping to not be seen, by the camera crew, the younger lieutenant kept to the shadows as best he could. Watching as things seemed to be coming to an end he poked out of the shadows he'd been hiding in up till now, hopefully only the intended person would see him. Seeing it seem to work he wasn't surprised by the others arrival.

"I was hoping to see you. I saw your report earlier and hoped you may, given the connections I'm sure you have, that perhaps you know more on what's going on?" The blond seemed more frazzled than he had during their last meeting. Was he lacking sleep? It seemed he might be having issues in that department, and he was. "It's all rather sudden and I can only think of senshi when I think on this. Who else - how else - would so many go missing so suddenly." His words were spoken with a certain speed, as though he should be pacing whilst he spoke, the words of a person who was nervous and possibly troubled and stressed by other things.

"I wish I could say more kiddo, but I can't," Osumilite sighed. He agreed with the younger lieutenant's sentiments - the Senshi were almost definitely behind whatever was happening. But how? Where had they taken them? "I know just as much as everyone else right now. Fifty-one missing, all different ages, seemingly no connection; all just vanished into thin air. We're digging and we're digging, but its only the first few hours. Hopefully we'll know more soon, and hopefully those terrorists haven't hurt them."

"Do you know anyone who vanished?" he asked. He didn't know anyone on a personal level that had disappeared, but had already managed two families of the missing.

"We can only hope they haven't hurt him. I can't say I know enough about them, and their torturous ways, aside from what Tanzanite went on about, at the beginning of the meeting." His voice dropped low as he spoke of what their General Queen had spoke not too many days back. "We can hope those things don't apply to humans who are unrelated to us, at least as far as any of us know at the moment." He hoped none of those missing were related to any of their members, it wouldn't do well for that to happen.

Shaking his head, he was glad he could do that. "No, not that I know of right now. I don't think that will change. Something I'm glad I don't have to deal with." His life was already filled with things to be juggled. He'd only just straightened out his mental issues with the changes going on. He'd really realized the hole he'd dug himself.

"You were right, I should have relaxed the hold I had on myself." He spoke finally, his voice remaining a low whisper, some note of...something entering his voice.

"Excuse me?" he asked, not entirely sure what the boy had said or meant to say. He then recalled the advise he had given him during their last encounter - live a little. His eyes widened with interest. Had he followed his advice?
"Did something happen? Did you get out there and live a little more vicariously, have some fun? Come on now, give me the details." He was being playful and felt like he was back asking his buddies how their dates went.

"Aside from sending me for a loop, mentally, and needing to spend an evening sorting myself out, yes. I must say it seems when I decided to let something simply happen I decided to do so at the wrong time and with the wrong person." His own fault really, but the words had been echoed at him that night. It was tempting, too tempting, and he wanted to know what letting loose just a little was like.

"I've also decided I'll get myself an I.D and if you'd be so kind as to join me, once I do attain one, for an evening out it would be much appreciated." Despite his words, calm and light as they were, he still wondered if he should go ahead and try to get the senshi to the Negaverse and if so what to do then? The other was seeing someone else, so anything aside from friendship even if he joined the Negaverse was out of the question. It simply wasn't how he worked. But should he remain close and handle them? Would that effect him or was he strong enough to hold up?

"Uh, sure, bud," Osumilite shrugged. He was glad to give the younger lieutenant advise, but he wasn't so sure he should be liable for drinking with the boy - it would be quite a scandal if he were caught. Although just one drink couldn't hurt, especially with their Negaverse disguises by their side. "We can hit up a bar together, grab a drink and drain some energy of the drunkards that lurk around."

"But back to that other thing," he started, interrupting himself. "What do you mean you let something simply happen but at the wrong time with the wrong person? A mental loop? What happened?" He was clearly concerned, and worried that his advise had led the teenager into trouble.

At least he'd feel safe, and he hoped the look of gratitude, and tight but sincere smile, would tell the other as much. He didn't want the older Lieutenant to think he didn't appreciate his acceptance of his request. He appreciated it, greatly.

Finding a roof top ledge to sit upon, no bird droppings, he leg his legs cross and his hands folded into his lap.

"I have, dealt with senshi. In a none violent manner, to understand them and to attempt to impart some information. Perhaps in a vain attempt to sway them away from wishing to fight us as so many seem inclined to do." He started, speaking slowly. His words measured and tasted on his tongue and in his mind before being given voice. He wouldn't allow himself to slip in this discussion, to ramble or slip somewhere.

"It was one such discussion, with a very odd senshi. One who does not consider themself to be on any particular side. They simply enjoy killing youma, something which I cannot condone. I tried, vainly so, to dissuade them from that path. Something I've learned hasn't worked. But that is neither here nor there when it comes to the matter at hand." Slowly his words took on a confidence as he became sure of his words.

"This senshi is an odd one, to say the least, given their belief of not being on a side. And I would be lieing if I were to claim them unattractive. This senshi echoed your words, and those of others. Perhaps that is why I gave in to their flirtations and a backroom was found to simply snog in. Believe me I would have not gone further, now that I think on the matter. Unfortunately, that cursed me, plagued me with them tainting my thoughts. So when we met again I found out they were not single, a sting to say the least. But also something good..." He spoke, casting his eyes to the other, when they had lowered he did not know.

Casting his eyes back to his booted feet. "It was all wrong...a on the fence senshi or not. They enjoy the killing of youma and compared the borrowing of energy we practice to robbery." The last part he sounded scandalized about but he shook his head quickly, blond bangs flying across his boyish features.

"I did at first, before knowing of the continued killing of youma, think it was perhaps alright provided no one were to know. But no...it is not meant to be, it's simply not possible and not because they are a senshi. The youma killing, the comparison, the romance they have going already." Biting his lip he knew he was perhaps starting to ramble, but he was still a teenager and even he was prone to such things. "There was more, but less important to the discussion at hand. I have settled my own thoughts on the matter...but I did question if they would join our side. It was not something they were against...but to be close to them, to attempt to sway them." He worried if his strength was the steel he hoped it was.

"It was during this thought that I came to accept your words." And decided upon a fake I.D and to get out and be a teenager. "And that perhaps while unattached to someone...certain things are acceptable." Again his eyes drifted up to the other, waiting for an explosion of sorts from the older man. "I ask that you not speak a word of this to anyone else. I have learned." He had.

Osumilite had a feeling he knew just what Senshi was in question. While he didn't catch that Senshi's name, he recalled meeting a Senshi that matches the description nearly perfectly. Osumilite, too, had tried to convince the Senshi about the ways of the Negaverse. As he listened to Benitoite's story, the older lieutenant became clearly disappointed and concerned.

"You better have learned," he said sternly, using the strong fatherly voice that he used with his own son. "I won't say anything to any of our superiors - not this time. If I catch wind of this happening again, though, I won't be as discreet or considerate."

He couldn't fault the teenager - after all, he was just a teenager with crazy hormones. But to fraternize with the enemy and allow there to be feelings involved that confuse things? That was something he did not take very lightly.

"I'm going to give you some more advice, and I suggest you take it into consideration," Osumilite began. He was in no way a superior to the other lieutenant, but he felt that his advice was good to give. "You have three real options here. One: You never see this Senshi again - you never think of this Senshi again. Two: You ensure that the Senshi joins the ranks of the Negaverse. And last, but certainly not least, option three: You kill this Senshi."

"Do you think you can do that?"

Of course he wouldn't be, he didn't have a doubt in the mans words. He knew he had been out of line, after wards. At the time...not so much. He'd given himself a loop hole excuse so he could find an allowance for the discretion. Pale eyes kept their focus on the older, he didn't shy away from the man's words, he couldn't. He knew he deserved it, but it still hurt in some small way. How could it not?

"Of course, I would expect nothing less than bening reported. I'd do it myself in fact. This time though...I believe I have corrected myself, and I have seen the fault in the leash I gave myself. I dug myself a hole that I must climb out of. I cannot remain trapped."

Listening to the advice, which he needn't take as the other was of the same rank, he listened all the same. The man was still older and had far more life experiences than he himself. "I cannot kill....this I know. I am simply unable to do so. But given that we are loosing this war I would prefer to bring them to out ranks, in a small effort to help our side. But how to sway someone who wishes to kill youma as it is...fun?" If that was what kept him from changing sides what could he offer to replace that, killing senshi? He doubted the senshi would kill another human being, like he would and could not.

"I cannot bring him to our side on my own. I would need another to do so...and should I simply, uncaring as to his wishes, force this upon him? At the risk that being forced he will not fight for us." If he forced it..it didn't mean the resulting corrupted senshi would fight or do anything else. "He believes we steal energy and then leave people and that we should ask for the energy...if our cause is so noble." How to bring such a person around, to see the light.

"It isn't exactly right of us," Osumilite started. "It is, in the greater scheme of things, yes. We should not have to feel any guilt for draining the energy. We ned that energy, but it is unfortunate how we have to go about retrieving it."

"The Senshi have been brainwashed into thinking that what they are doing is right, that they're not doing anything wrong by invading our planet," he continued on. "Mere words aren't going to convince them otherwise. They'd need to be forced into the Negaverse, converted just in the way you and I were initiated in. The corruption, as its called. There were corrupted Senshi at the last meeting, if you noticed. Perhaps your...friend could join the ranks there."

He wasn't sure how to go about getting a Senshi corrupted, but it wasn't exactly his duty to do so, nor his place to make the decision for the boy. Benitoite had to do what he felt was right, which hopefully involved a wise decision for his sake.
PostPosted: Sat Sep 10, 2011 4:12 pm

"It is. I would prefer it if we could take it in a way that did not seem like some attack...similar in nature to how a rapist would attack someone. Especially when we risk hurting ourselves. But at least the cause is right, just."

Smiling he bobbed his head gently. "I know, I've had the pleasure of meeting two of our enlightened senshi, as one prefers to be called. I just wish I knew what brought them into the war so long ago. Why get involved in a war so far from their planet, or what have you." Meteor, comet, planet, star, they were all the same in this conversation really. "I don't like the idea of taking a persons choice from them. Perhaps though..."

Uncrossing his legs as he stood, a seemingly seamless move, he made his way toward the other, slowly. His steps seemingly lazy in manner and yet graceful, heels clicking gently on the roof top. "I will meet with them again, perhaps woo them to our side. Though how I do not know. If it must be done I will speak with General Painite...perhaps she will handle the matter of corruption, as I can not do such." He spoke gently, a soft and wistful smile taking over his features.

"I wish we had a way to open the eyes of these senshi, Perhaps take their numbers down some...and bring them to our side. Why must they be so hard to sway, they cannot even say just why they fight...their reasons...are few and not worthy like ours."

"As I said earlier, I believe there are only two ways to deal with the Senshi," he continued, pacing about the roof as he spoke. "We can force them into the Negaverse - they wouldn't join willingly - or we can kill them. The choice is ours to make, it would be silly to let them make the decision for themselves. Theirs minds are far too diluted in delusion to make a wise choice. Personally, I vote we just kill the terrorist scumbags; but perhaps it would be of more benefit to make them our allies."

"Now," he started. "Is there anything else? My camera crew is going to be waiting for me at the office, I can't keep them there for too long without them worrying, especially given the recent disappearances."
PostPosted: Mon Sep 12, 2011 3:40 pm

Listening he nodded to the others words, giving a brief smile "I'll be in touch with General Painite, perhaps the three of us can come up with a plot, maybe Captain Fluorite can join us, in order to come up with a way to bring this senshi to our side and avoid them fighting." They would surely put up a fight if he tried to force such a thing, and he couldn't corrupt a senshi, or anyone. So someone would have to do that, he'd need to find out who could do it and if they would assist in the plans.

"No, nothing else. Thank you though..." Hesitating, for a split second, he spit out the words on his mind. "I appreciate your words, all of them." Be they scolding or not he did appreciate them. "We should schedule a night to hunt again together...a bar trip." Yes, they needed to get together again, somehow the other screamed fatherly figure to him. Someone who was a fatherly figure and who knew what he was a part of, unlike his own parents who he could never tell. Perhaps a substitute parent of sorts.

"Sure thing, kiddo. Keep in touch," he said with a jerky head nod. He worried about the younger lieutenant and what decisions he might make, but it wasn't his place to intervene. He gave his advice, but that was as best as he could do. From there, it was all up to Benitoite. "Don't get yourself killed out there, alright? And stay away from any more trouble, I'd have to see you punished."

"Just take care of yourself," he said as he waved good bye and leapt off the roof, hopping from rooftop to rooftop into the night and back to the studio.
