Shizuo Heiwajima, a seemingly intimidating male from Ikebukuro, Japan had found his way into the shop and settled quite nicely, comfortably making himself at home and completing the picture by pulling out his American Spirit cigarettes to smoke. Just outside the window, though, was Asami Kagamine happened to be humming a faint tune, thinking about her origins and music as part Vocaloid. Her reverie in melody was soon broken by the scent of smoke - something that could irk almost anyone. The male on the other side of the wall separating indoors from outdoors, however, had barely caught the tune and decided to investigate - Vocaloids were a huge hit, especially in Japan; since he was always on duty back at home, he'd never really got the chance to look into it: Well, he didn't really care then, but the music was rather nice... Even though his tastes moved him more to the traditional enka than the modern pop. "You shouldn't smoke! It's bad for your lungs." Bizarre first words, but well, it was true - smoking was truly a bad habit, but for a constantly raging, stressed out, impulsive man like Shizuo, it seemed like a necessity in life. Somehow, her attitude didn't seem to annoy him or piss him off - he knew she had a point. Asami on the other hand, couldn't get why the male was having a hard time around others - but it was something they both could relate to, as well as their monster strength. Convinced that he could trust after an actually nice conversation with the younger female, the former bartender strangely found a friend in her - his only friend since coming to the shop. After that meeting, Shizuo began to carry bits of candy around as a replacement for cigarettes... Though he carries around a pack of those, too, even if he's been trying to stop smoking.
Shizuo;; *furiously eating bits of hard candy while fumbling in his pockets around for more, vigorously still trying to lay off his smoking habits*
Asami;; *hears a bit of a crunching and decide to head towards it, smiling as she notices its Shizuo* Hello there ='D
Shizuo;; Huh? *stops to scratch his head a little awkwardly* Ah. Asami, what's up?
Asami;; Nothing much, just wandering about~ *continues to smile, deciding not to mention the crunching she heard* How about you? Its been awhile nn'
Shizuo;; *pulls one more piece to pop out of the wrapper and into his mouth* Ah, me? Well... I've been okay. Started working as a bodyguard again, I guess... *blinks a bit* ... Don't mean to sound creepy or anything, but do you want a piece? *holds out some candy to her*
Asami;; That's nice ='3 How's it going for you? *blinks at the candy* Sure nn *takes a few* And it doesn't sound creepy at all *grins as she starts at the wrapper*
Shizuo;; I'm keeping a decent living and doing something that's been in my experience before. *crunches his piece* It's weird how when I offer someone else, they run for it... *mumblemumblemumble*
Asami;; That's good, but do you enjoy it? *plops hers into her mouth* I don't see why they would do that... They're just idiots >8|
Shizuo;; Heh, I get to hit people if they annoy me and get away with that. A bargain if you ask me. *shrugs* I've been told I'm pretty... scary. B|;; I think it's the strength thing. I don't blame them for being scared or anything.
Asami;; *laughs* Quite the bargain x3 *quiets and frowns* You're not that scary, even with being strong... *can't help but be irked at that* Though I guess being a 'nice' bodyguard wouldn't be that good |Da
Shizuo;; I guess... *shrugs* Sometimes, I guess I just snap and don't even think about it. I don't really get a chance to actually talk with a lot of people like this.
Asami;; I can't see that happening... *frowns, unable to really visualize it* You should have more chances... How about I try to be around more to catch you to talk? 8/ ;
Shizuo;; Huh? You... would? *ears perk, but grins widely* That'd be pretty cool of you if you could, Asami. Thanks.
Asami;; *smiles brightly* Yeah, I definitely would n wn *just happy she didn't weird him out with the suggestion* Though you don't need to really thank me. You're my friend, probably my best one at that n wn
Shizuo;; What, no one wants to talk to you? Goddamn, I don't see why not.. *digging his foot down into the ground, forming a miniature crater* I mean, you're so nice and all, not to mention kinda approachable by appearance. The hell's up with people nowadays...? B
Asami;; People just tend to be strange... *shrugs lightly but still smiles at the small compliment* but I'm not really sure... though I guess I may put out a cold aura out to others..
Shizuo;; It's got nothin' on me. B| Don't see how others would mind a little chill every now and then. I mean, do you even know how hot it gets back in Ikebukuro?
Asami;; Probably not, but it keeps people at bay nonetheless *giggles* I wouldn't have a clue... but people would probably love me there, considering I'm cold year round x3;;
Shizuo;; h... Well, it gets pretty damn humid in the summer. *laughs* You'd be pretty great to have around back then. I'd be sitting around in front of the fan all day dying in the heat because I didn't have an AC like everyone else.
Asami;; Ugh, that sounds miserable x|;; *shivers at the thought* What would you have done if the fan broke down?
Shizuo;; Kinda pathetic, huh? Well... *scratches head again* I would have just taken a walk. It would be humid indoors as it is outdoors...
Asami;; Its not pathetic, its just what you had to do *nods and shakes her head* There would be no escape... x|;; What else was Ikebukuro like, other than hot and humid?
Shizuo;; Huh, pretty bad for a man with such reputation, if you ask me... Ikebukuro... Huh, I'd say it's like the New York, New York of Japan.
Asami;; Well, its better to be alive then dying in the heat |D;; *pauses and ponders* So... busy and crowded but with many things to do? o uo
Shizuo;; Ah, trust me. A man can't die that easily. *has no idea that he's only thinking about his own experiences in fights* Yeah... There's a bunch of shops, restaurants, and stuff. Lots a things to see.
Asami;; I guess.... You were able to survive at least *smiles* Sounds like a pretty cool place to see. Did you enjoy it there? =3
Shizuo;; Well, I guess. As selfish as I may sound by saying this, but I liked it only when it was peaceful. Much preferred it that way.
Asami;; How is that selfish? To be surrounded by people all of the time but be stressful... *tilts her ears back slightly, wondering if that means she should leave* Coming here must have been nice?.. Its nothing but peace...
Shizuo;; Well... There were some friends I had back there. But this is great. Don't have to worry about much... No pests running around bothering the hell outta me... Not many here who like picking fights either.
Asami;; It is pretty great around here.... its something that everyone seems to enjoy around here *nods to herself*... Do you get to speak to your friends from there?
Shizuo;; I broke my last cellphone, so I lost their contacts... *grumbles a bit* Figured that I'd settle in nicely and hope that they'd visit one day.
Asami;; How did you do that? |Da; *smiles and shakes her head* Hopefully they do so.. you told them where you lived.. right? >8T
Shizuo;; I pulled it out of my pocket and wasn't careful. *makes a crushing hand motion* Just like that, like anything else I touch... Huh? And ya, of course. *grits teeth a bit* I don't see them in the old chatrooms anymore, so I decided to pick up a pen and some paper for letters.. That didn't go too well, though, but I managed to send out one letter.
Asami;; That's unfortunate.... though I kind of doubt its like anything else... *tries not to think of the window before* If one got out then you should be alright, though maybe we should get you another phone sometime soon, see if they could put the old number on it? ='3
Shizuo;; I don't actually like cellphones... Buzzing around here and there and all... I only kept mine because it played music well enough. Things get all high tech and s**t now, so I get confused and frustrated about things easier...
Asami;; Should we get you a music player then? *smiles* Though they do add stupid things that are unnecessary... >w>;;; but just think, if it's gotten so hightech that there are people who are actually computer programs, where will we be in a few years... =w=;

Shizuo;; I was feeling better than usual and knocked him out with a headbutt. Seemed like a normal day that time, except the damned kid kept going on about what he thought was love... *shrugs* From what he described, it sounded like he didn't know squat. Then again... I never got any experience in that area.

Shizuo;; I heard he's obsessed with this chick and all, and won't even go to school just to spend time with her, unless they go together... But they're young, and I can't blame his way of thinking... I just think it's selfish of him.
