Not to sound liek a TOTAL geek, but I did some research, and a group of peeps (can't remember their names) did a study and when they produced sound waves in a certain pitch in a totally dark room with some water in it, light was produced. This is just serves to give more weight to the bible where god hovered over the waters and SAID let there be light. so rry if this was jumbled...I'm TiReD.

I was doing research..
Really, that depends on the translation. My translation doesn't say that God was over the waters, just the "surface".
Besides, it could also add to the theory of ebolution, if you think about it. Why? Because if we could make light that way, so could some evolved animal or something.

Science is only a theory in and of itself. God defies science. He doesn't need a certain pitch or frequency to make light. It was a cool thought, but I just have a hard time seeing how it helps the cause.

But WHAT IF God USED phusical sciences and stayed within the laws of physics and such just so that they could be used to prove he existed.

...For several reasons, actually.

1. We must live by FAITH, not by sight.
2. God doesn't have to agree with logic and science. Example: You agree that God doesn't fit within the realm of our time, yes? That's scientifically impossible. However:
Science is a.) the observation, identification, description, experimental investigation, and theoretical explanation of phenomena.
b.)Such activities restricted to a class of natural phenomena.
c.)Such activities applied to an object of inquiry or study.

This mentions nothing about science being definate. Nothing about the validity of it, only that it is theoretical.

All I'm saying is that he left clues for us that we could use to prove to other people that he exists. How are we supposed to bring in new beleivers if all we can tell them is that they have to walk into some unknown world that, to them, seems like a huge BS filled world of rules and regulations. There HAVE been MANY times that God has used natural methods to prove his existence.

Still, it seems rather unlikely to me.
I suppose it's a matter of opinion.

However, I tend to rely more on the Bible to lead people to Christ.
If I only show people the love of Christ through me, God can do the rest.
