Seraphina stood outside her store key in hand poised to start her day. She turned the key and thought on who she had scheduled to work with her remembering with a smile that it was Lysander. A newer hire, but a great dresser, who seemed to really love his job.
Phina would have to keep an eye on the boy in his time at Phina's. She looked like he might be one to go to when ordering new brands for the store. Phina tried to always keep up with all the newest and greatest designers, but it was just so easy to miss that one flower in a field of wildflowers.
She walked in and breathed deeply, loving the smell of good clothes in the morning. It was like walking into her closet in the morning. She was such a lucky person. Phina went about flip on lights getting the registers together and setting up the ipad so the customers could access polyvore while they were there. She loved the website and had and account for the store that she updated every night with new arrivals to the store.
Once everything was set up, she looked to the clock and smiled expecting Lysander to show at any moment. This morning was an early morning, mannequin morning. Time to change the displays. Such fun, such fun, Phina couldn't wait.

His parents had suggested for a while that he get a part time job just for the experience but he'd brushed them off. There hadn't been anywhere that he'd really wanted to work so what was the point? The clothing stores he'd looked at wouldn't hire a high schooler and everywhere that would was somewhere he wouldn't be caught dead working. There was no way he'd let his brain rot flipping burgers. None.
But then Phina's had opened and he'd wandered into it's high fashion glory and if it wouldn't have made him look like a lunatic he'd have fallen to his knees in worship. He still could have probably prayed to his boss on occasion. She'd been amazing to hire him even though he could only work a few times a week since he was still in school.
Today was one of those days though. An even better day because it was time to change the mannequins in the window and she was going to let him help.
He'd dressed up nice that day, something 'casual' while still being respectable for work and even managed to make it out the door without complaining too much that it was early. The shop was easy enough to get to and he nudged the door open after realizing that the lights were on.
"Seraphina?" His boss had to be around somewhere otherwise the door wouldn't be unlocked and lights wouldn't be on.

Phina looked up hearing the voice, she knew belonged to the Lysander. "I'm back with the men's jeans Lysander. Come on back and make sure to lock the door behind you, won't do any good if someone comes in while we are closed."
She turned back to the jeans looking between a pair that was in her hand and and pair that was on the rack. Eventually she picked the other up holding them out in front of her trying to contemplate which she like best. It was Phina's way, pick one item, build an outfit. That how she did it and that wasn't how everyone did it, but she didn't mind everyone had their own way.
"Which to pick, which to pick," she mumbled lightly to herself.
She turned holding the jeans out to Lysander, "dark or light?"
