Maia frowned, sometimes being an eternal sucked majorly. There were four of them. FOUR! This time they seemed to have found her, much to her utter annoyance. They went her quiet night.
"Sweet Harmony," she called out, the familiar tornado of notes flew at Maia sized cobra eels. If you got bit, it was quite shocking and Maia only needed one bite to know she needed to keep her distance from them.
The problem currently was that she hadn't been able to hit all four at one and too try to take one out resulted in the other going after her and Maia having to avoid a rather shocking surprise. She was getting tired and it was obvious she needed to help.
She hopped up into the tree flipping open her cellphone and grinning as Themis showed up on the screen. She called him hoping her would pick up.

Themis was chilling.
He'd just dusted a youma and was had aquired a water bottle from a vending machine when his phone started vibrating back in subspace - seeing it to be Maia, he grinned.
"You have reached the ear of the most amazing senshi of the universe, how may I help you~ ?"
Apparently he was feeling silly tonight. The water bottle was then uncapped, and a long drink taken from it. He assumed she wanted to see him, like most of the others time she'd called, and he had no problem with that.
If he'd had the faintest idea that Maia was up a tree being circled by four angry youma eels, he probably would have skipped the stupidity.

Maia couldn't help but to laugh, a giggle going through the phone, momentarily forgetting her predicament.
"Not time for that Themis. I need a little ...." she started, but she at just that moment one cobra eels got hold of her biting down and give her the shock of a life time.
She shouted falling out of the tree and dropping her phone at the same time. She groaned frowning, falling out of a tree never got any easier. However being surrounded by cobra eels did wonders for getting over it.
Maia jumped up just barely missing the attack of the closest eel which hisses at her and gave chase the other's following. She didn't have much choice, but to simply run, trying to keep ahead on the abnornally fast beasts and wishing her cousin made a speedy appearance.
"Come on Themis," she huffed to herself.

Need a... "Maia !" But there was no answer on the other side.
Suddenly, Themis didn't feel like making jokes anymore. His phone was dropped, but thankfully vanished back into subspace. The water bottle was less lucky - it spilled on the sidewalk, but he didn't case.
Someone was hurting his cousin.
Themis had a few easy rage buttons - someone hurting his loved ones was perhaps, the biggest. He was there rather quickly, knowing the city well enough to know where the phone had said she was, and came down from the roof crashing on one of the eels, kicking a second straight into the opposite wall.
Eternal Sailor Themis was an extremely unhappy camper, to the point that the obvious - Maia's upgrade - went unnoticed for the time being. "Are you ok-"
Then the one snake he'd jumped on, Mario-style, bit him.
And he had a good idea why he'd been called. "SON OF A BI-"

Maia turned at hearing her cousin's voice seeing him kick one youma right into a wall and then was promptly bit by the one he landed on.
Maia eyes went wide and she guessed she should have warned her cousin about the cobra eels, but pushed the though away as she had been running at the time. Maia unfortunately was bitten in her moment of haste.
"Ahh," she shouted jumping away from the thing.
"I'm fine, I'm fine," she said still shaking slightly from the, " but," she started dogding the attacking eel corba yet again, "I can't attack them all at one time. They move to much and their too fast."
She jumped tried to dodge another bite, but she only to get bit by the other. "AAAoooowwww," she screeched jumping around like she was doing hopscotch.
"Help please," she called out still jumping about looking shaking and very red. She'd been shocked several times now.

"There things hurt like a b- OWWWW !"
Good damn ! Now the damn thing was latched on his arm - shaking sent it flying. "Okay... Take two, I'll take two. Let's try to separate them so they can't gang up and overhelm-" He dodged the one he had previously thrown at the wall. "You go right, I go left."
Two would be easier than all four bunched up. Themis was starting to get used to attracting multiple youma at once, and how to deal with it.

Maia had practically danced her way back to her cousin and narrowly avoided a nasty bite to her bottom, which made her glare at the eel. She turned at Themis voice actually being still for a moment to listen to him.
She frowned and jumped when he dodged the one he sent into the wall early, when he told her to go right she nodded and was off. Making sure to trounce on the closest eel which promptly launched itself at her, the one that had previously been focused on Themis tearing off after her as well.
She looked back and grinned to see she indeed had two following her. As soon as she thought she was far enough away she turned and got ready to attack. She probably needed more than a minute, so it was her super attack that she chose.
"Absolute harmony," she sang out allowing the music to fill her and belting out the song. Note filling the air, popping into existance. Unfortunately both eels launched themselves at her one luckily going through the notes but the other missing them entirely and biting her through her boot.
"Aaaaeeehhhh," she shouted kicking the thing into a tree. She was shaking quite visibly now.
She angrily stomped over to the other and putting her heel right through its skull. Youma dust!

So far so good - the youma were splitting up as Themis darted to the left, two of the nasty as hell eels chasing him down and pretty much seeming to forget about Maia's existence altogether.
Youma weren't the brightest crayons in the box... thankfully.
This was nasty enough as it was - and Themis couldn't quite use his attacks, so he had to physical it up. Kind of sucked when your attacks were mostly distractions and required you to stay still.
Another bite sent another string of curses out of him - sending that pertuclar eel into a free flight lesson, crashing right back into a tree.
Dusted !

The second youma did not seem to happy at seeing it's partner in crime turned to dust. It launched itself at Maia winding around her waist and chest and making stumble back her hit the ground with a thunk.
"Get off me," she shouted trying to keep the youma which had wound itself around her from biting her, holding it at bay with a one hand and trying to unwind it with the other hand. She was frantic to get the the thing off her.
She grabbed just it in panic and snapped the things neck. Youma dust! But uggg it was all over her, oh ewwww. She cringed frowning deeply before hopping up and running over to her cousin.

The youmas were definitively unhappy with the deaths of half of their numbers, and the last survivor got an iron clamp on Themis' arm and he screamed out.
God damn these things... !!!!
Try as it might, through, he couldn't seem to get it off - until he simply reamed his arm in the brick wall.
Dust time ! Through now his arm seemed numb from both the electric shock and the reaming, and Themis fingered the wound with a wince.
Superb.
"Well, that was perticularly nasty."

She reached her cousin, stopping, only she wasn't stopped. She was skaking having had to many electric jolts. "It most certainly wasn't fun," she said her normally controlled voice quite shaky.
She grinned at her cousin, even though she shook slightly. "Thanks for coming so quick Themis. To much longer with those snake eels and I do not think I'd be walking straight right now. You the best Themis."
She gave a shaky sigh, "I think I've had enough patrolling for one night, plus I have school in the morning before I have some training sessions at night."

He didn't like the way Maia kept shaking. His arm was numb after that last discharge, but other than that he was more or less fine. She must have gotten a lot more discharges through her before he managed to show up...
"I'll take you home, okay ?" Just to make sure. Just in case. He couldn't let Maia go alone in good conscience, not in the state she was in now. "Do you still live at your parents, or did you move out ?" He remembered her talking about it, but amid his own move, some things got lost in the cracks of his mind.
...But waaiiittt...
"...When did you go eternal ? Congrats !"
Slow on the uptake ? Yeah, that was Themis.

Maia gave a cousin a confused look, but she could feel her form shaking and the chances that she would be able to power down and drive. Probably slim to none. She nodded, "Thanks Themis, I guess I am a little shaky and yes I did move. Its not to far. A townhouse about 15 or so minutes away."
Maia blinked at the question then gave a bright if a bit shaky smile, "Oh thanks, um right almost at the start of Polaris' youma hunting contest. I met up with ********* and Zirconia one night after patrolling. We talked and in the end they decided I was ready to be an eternal, no life threatening situation or anything."
Maia continued to smile, since she upgraded things had been a bit hectic, lots of patrolling and training, she was growing use to the schedule now though.

Even if she'd said no, she probably wouldn't have gotten rid of him that easily. Not when her cousin was in protective mode.
"Lead the way, then ?" He was just gonna get home a little later. No big deal.
"Oh ?" He knew of *********, but he had no idea who Zirconia was. Another cat, from the sounds of it. "That's pretty nice. I almost got myself impaled by a giant hedgehog. My childhood is ruined forever."
Maia probably wouldn't get the joke.

Maia nodded and turned and started off in the direction of her house making a mental note to remember to power down before she got to close. She knew she and her cousins were like beacons just saying come and get us we are here.
She looked to her cousin and grinned, "I have no idea the joke I'm sure you just made, but I am glad to know you did not in fact get impaled by a giant hedgehog. For what would I do without my favorite cousin." Though as far as she knew he was probably her only cousin.
She gave a light laugh feeling slightly at ease, "we never get to talk or hang out you know. We should do so soon. I want to know how everything is going with you, your music and everything."
She walked on silently humming softly a pretty little tune, not really expecting much conversation which really she did not mind.
