Bright sun filtered through the hanging wisteria, casting morning light upon the sleeping mare. Slowly one emerald eye opened, then the other, a raging headache split the mare’s head and she let out a moan. This was constant, every morning she would wake up with this sharp pain in her head, ever since that day a long time ago when she witnessed her family being murdered. Quietly she made her away out of the cave toward the small water fall to the left; the water was cold and removed the pain from her head. Completely satisfied, the mare turned to look out over the glen, today was the day she would go on an extended adventure to help a stallion rid himself of a curse; it was only yesterday that she met the stallion and she was set to risk her life for him.
She shook her head as she recounted their encounter yesterday; he had helped her find that pesky cat who is now happily at home with his doting mother, who feeds him way too much. Rin Asougi took in a deep breath of the fresh air, soon the stallion would arrive and both of them would go off to find the grumpy stallion Háidēs who would be able to point them in the right direction of the starfire ruby.

~Syn waking up, he slowly stands and looks around at the beaful place he was in. He smiles as he walks to one of the pools and reaches down to get a drink before rising his head again. Looking at the sun he smirks as he jumps fliping into the sky and heading towards the glen where he would found Rin waiting. He watches the clouds and turns to the glen he circled slowly then made another pass before titling his body and landing. He looks around the Glen it was very pretty.~
~Syn closes is eyes and thinks about his meeting with Rin, she was different. She was understanding and give him the hope he needed to do this quest. The quest that would free him from the unknown shadow and his unhappness. The first object of the quest was going to be easy to find maybe if Rin knew someone that knew where it was. The rest of the items were going to be hard to find, if they could find clues at all about their loction.~

Rin Asougi gazed around her little glen, years she has considered this place home, it resonated a comforting feeling. The mare that would be watching the glen would be arriving shortly, Rin knew that she would hold down the fort well, for she was both trained to fight and knew the skills of a private eye. Good bye was the hardest part and it did not get any easier as the years passed; but she knew that this good bye was not forever, she would be back to this place.
Emerald eyes cast themselves to the sky, her mind was reeling as she tried to remember which direction Háidēs and Lina were located, then she knew the answer, they were south of here near a valley full of Narcissus flowers; a small smile appeared on her countenance, let this quest begin.
Ears flicked at the sound of hooves landing on the dirt, Rin looked in the direction of the sound, it was either Syn or the mare, and soon the Angeni mare would discover which one just entered her home.

~He looks around the glen again, and waits. It was true that he was invited here by Rin. But it wasn't right to him to peeking and snooping around someone else's home. He also thought of the tesks ahead again. This would be a great quest for him and Rin to get to know another better. They would more and likely be traveling for days, facing dangers, which he really didn't like the idea of risking his new friend's life. He had also gotten Roza's grandmother to ask around for information about the items since she two had offered to help. Still he couldn't help but think of the risk he was putting his friend through.~
~he smiles and decides to call out~ " Rin are you here?" ~He looks around the glen again and watches.~

It was Syn, a small smile crept on to Rin’s countenance, she made her way around a bend and came face to face with the grey stallion, “Hello Syn, good morning, did you find this place easily enough?” Rin looked over the stallion; he looked well rested, which was good on a start of a long journey. The mare knew that during this quest the both of them would face dangers and risks; she was prepared for that, she just hoped that the stallion before her was as well. “When I got back last night I tried to think about the whereabouts of the other items, but nothing came to mind. Do you have any new leads on where they may be?” Rin wanted to ask him if the World Tree was Yggdrasil, but she knew that it was unlikely, she had a feeling that the two were separate entities, although she could always be wrong.
She turned and smiled at the stallion, “Ready for an adventure?”

~seeing Rin face to face he smile again~ " hello Rin, good morning, yes this place was easy to find, it is really beauful." ~He listens her talk about, the items as well. He had a wired dream about the waterfox, it was a statue near the sea. He didn't know which sea but he would know it when he saw it.~ " I a had a dream about the waterfox, I know that it is by the ocean in a cave. For the others, I have no idea, but I do have someone that is asking about, and seeing what she can come up with. I have to get back to her in a couple of days." ~he smiles again and looks around the glen then back at Rin.~
~Watching her turn back to him he smiles~ " Yes, which way are we heading?" ~He fuffs his wings out and flaps them a little~ " It may be a good idea to round up supplies, I have some, Roza and her herd mates are gathering others for us to use. If you don't mind,we will stop there first?"

“Thank you,” it had taken a few years for Rin to finally get the Glen the way she liked it and now it shown with her original vision. Rin gave a slight nod to his words about the waterfox, they could just fly over the coast and search for the cave in his dream; it was at a time like this when the Angeni mare was thankful to have wings, it would take so much longer to complete this quest without them. “So we mustn’t stray too far from her herd until then, good thing Háidēs and Lina are not too far away. They are south of here, not too hard to find. Supplies would be a good idea, sure, I will follow you then to Roza’s herd.” Rin took one more look around her Glen, saying a silent good bye, knowing that the mare would be coming by shortly to hold down the fort.
“Ready Syn?” her emerald eyes looked into his two different colored eyes, it was time to break the curse he believed held domain over his life.

~He smiles~ " Your welcome." ~Looking around the glen he watches the butterflys, and small birds fly around. He brings his eyes back to her and nods~ " Yep, that is a good thing that everyone seems to by near another. Well close to another anyways. Ok" ~He watches her look around her glen was she saying goodbye for now, if he had a place like this that is what he would be saying.~
~He nods, flapping his wings he lifts himself off the ground. Once he is a few feet from the ground he stops and waits for her. Before looking towards the west where he would find Roza and her herdmates. He thought about the curse and smiled at the trought of finally breaking it. He turns towards Rin and watches her. He wondered how she took off and flew with her four wings.~

With one last look around the glen, Rin gave a slight nod to the stallion, “Which direction are we heading first?” Emerald eye’s watched him as his two grey wings flapped and removed him from the ground; she took that as her cue to launch herself into the air as well. It was incredibly easy to leave the soft earth and hoover in the air; each of her wings pushed down, causing a gust of wind to hit the dirt and sent a dead leaf flying. Before she knew it, Rin was in the air, and slowly she made her way up past the trees and into the open air. Closing her eyes she took in a deep breath of the fresh morning air, a smile crossing her countenance, there was nothing like the freedom of flight. The Angeni mare looked to the flying stallion, “Ready?” That one word held many meanings, ready to break the curse, ready for the new day, ready to start this journey, so many connotations in just one question.

~Syn looks at Rin and looks to the south. I made sense to see what Rin's friend knew about the ruby first. Then they could go and get supplies from Hanna and see if she had any information for them. Then they could decide which object they wanted to head for first.~ " We could head for your friends first to the south then go and get supplies after we have his information." ~ He watches her fly, she seemed to enjoy it as much as he did. He smiled at her~ " Yes, as ready as I can be." ~ He turns toward the south and waits for Rin to lead the way.~

“Then to Háidēs’ we will go,” she nodded her assent and started to fly in the direction the Angeni stallion and his mate lived, she looked back at the wind stallion and returned his smile, “Good, this will be an adventure not soon forgotten.” Rin flew higher, but not too high, so Syn could keep up with her, she had heard that Angenis could fly higher and longer than those with only two wings, she wanted to keep a nice pace so her companion would not tire before the journey even began. Emerald eyes continued to scan the world below, searching for the land mark that would signify the home of Háidēs and his mate Carolina.
Time passed and soon the two soquili were over the valley filled with Narcissus flowers, their alluring scent was not as strong were they were in the sky, but it was still pungent. The pink winged mare took in a deep breath and slowly made her descent toward the earth below. When she landed softly on the lush ground she turned to face Syn, “I hope he is awake, I don’t need him any more grumpy than usual.”

“I heard that,” Háidēs silently appeared from the bushes, a small smile on his caramel colored face, “It is nice to see you again Rin, although I could have gone with some warning before you appeared in my home.” The black winged stallion turned to the grey wind, “I’m Háidēs, the grumpy stallion she is talking about, and you are?” Today the stallion was not at all grumpy, for each day he was in the presence of his love, the grouchiness that had surrounded him most of his life was slowly melting away. He turned back to the other Angeni, “Why are you here Rin?” He was less of a grouch, but he was still abrupt.
