Cedar reached the end of the her road. The wind gently pulled at her hair, and she glanced over in it's direction. The seasons were starting to slowly change. The summer as seemed very short; but that was probably because she was so very busy. The farm was starting to change and her parents were slowing down. She needed to decide if she wanted to take on the farm herself, or left it fade away... She took in a breath, the sun was still warm, it was about mid day, during the week. She needed to go over to the pub for her shift. Taking stride again she walked her way there, listening to the trees talk, and the rocks hum. She chatted softly with them, fall also meant that winter would come after. That was still a lovely season but it was a bit more quiet for the young witch. Stretching her hands to the sky, she loosened her muscles and made her way into the pub with a big smile. Today seemed like it would be a slow day, and nothing out of the ordinary would happen.

The day was gorgeous... the warm wind of retreating summer fluttering every loose existence it swept past. Grazing so softly, like lips brushing with a tender touch. Birds were active as they usually were, zipping about solo, in pairs, or groups. It was a small flock of chickadea's that caused chestnut eyes to rise to the heavens, gazing upon the passerby's and the lazily settled clouds that crawled in a conjoined position. Though slow, they held grace and a sort of magical air to them. It was captivating, to watch their calm disposition, one that could easily mirror the man below that internally felt a sense of awe for them. To be so free... that's the kinda life he wanted...
Leaning against a decaying wooden fence that surrounded a large plantation the student leaned against it, sleeves rolled and pushed up behind his elbows, tie elsewhere, jacket resting beside him at his post on the wood. His arms were folded as a cushion as he leaned over the railing, mind obviously rather engrossed with the sight his dark eyes held to. Of course, school was over, most were going about doing their homework or enjoying one another's company... all besides him. Homework could wait, and he had no friends... nor found any interesting enough to be. He had acquaintances, those he tolerated, but none who he truly found much in common with, nor held care to. They were all the same, after all. The blonde streak that resided along the front of his hairline, flipped up on a fauxhawk, fluttered lightly with the breeze's grace, along with the few longer strands that had enough slack. Truly a relaxing atmosphere, away from the throng of society, and bumbling fast pace lives. Reclusive from what possessed most to become swept up in such a lifestyle. Inhaling deeply, and exhaling just the same, Branek closed those glowers of his, head remaining in a slightly tipped back posture, leaning to the side a little to rest against a shoulder, enjoying such a simple time of day.

With a lazy day at work, the pub let her go extra early... It wasn't overly rare, but her help was needed at the farm, and with it as dead as it was she wouldn't have made any money. She had only been there for a couple hours... But still. Cedar was so conflicted about the things in her life these days.
She glanced back at the pub and then looked down the road ahead. She would be passing the area that the young boy was at in several minutes. And the wind came and circled around her, telling her that someone out of the ordinary was there. She closed her eyes as the breeze pulled up on her hair... Raising her hand to touch it up again. She moved her hands behind her back and walked carefully. And when the boy came into sight she saw that he was a student.
"A bit far from the School aren't you?"

It was days like today that made him feel like just walking... walking and never looking back, nor giving a second thought. To go elsewhere, do something, find something... what it was, or where it was, he didn't know, or care. Just anywhere but here. As lovely as some area's were, and as enticing the tranquility could be on occasion, it still didn't hold much leverage in containing his slight wanderlust trait. There had to be something of interest in this bloody world...
Entrapped with his internal thoughts, gazing at a few deer that were further off into the surrounding forest of the land, his eyes rolled to the corners, spying a female... er, a girl. Staring at her for awhile, noticing the cheery expression she held, his gaze drifted of again, locking back to how it once was. Even as he was acknowledged, he gave a plain response, "Yeah." and nothing more.

She smiled some at him. Arrogant; she remembered her days at the school, back then a good deal of the boys were like that. Well she couldn't say they all grew out of it. A few would always be like that, and such was life. She didn't stop walking, but had greatly slowed down. He seemed to be just taking it in, and who was she to say otherwise to him. Though skipping classes held nothing good to it.
A quick breeze came twirling around her ankles, before moving around around her shoulders and then taking off. "Oh.. Hush.. " She said softly. It seemed they didn't particularly like the boy's attitude toward her. Another gust would come and push into the boys back. As if trying to pushing him forward to stand, rather then lean on the fence. But the gust was only so powerful. She looked over to the side at the trees. "Now now... No need for that." The wind came and twirls around her ankles after and retreated.
Even for her, it wasn't to often they had 'strangers' in this area of Clarus Arbor. And even if it was a student... "Are you here for an assignment, or just blowing off class?" She spoke with a slightly more plain tone, figuring the probability of it being an assignment was zero.

Attention directed at the distant winds behavior that was rustling the tall untamed grasses just along the edge of the forest tree line, he let his lids close to just barely slits, face fully smoothed in a lax position, a hand faintly poking against a protruding sliver of wood that rebelled against the rest of the flow. This indeed was a nice place to be. It was unfortunate that the serenity of it was now to be disturbed, but... maybe she was just coming here for the same reasons, or passing by. Either way, she wasn't being obnoxious, so he had no qualms for the time being. He gave no attention or mind to the strange wind that seemed to be communicating with her, or it's dislike of him. It was just a stronger breeze in his point of view. Making the grasses just a few paces from him flutter more briskly, causing some of the clinging debris of pollen and puffs of seed sacs to take onto its current. Watching as the collecting pieces drifted off with the stream, he let his eyes open to a half-mast position again, the same dull expression plastered on his face, "Neither." he replied just the same, going back to picking at the splinter that threatened anyone who would apply pressure.

Neither huh? She raised a brow, but again it wasn't really her business. She stopped a few steps away from him. Looking over her shoulder. "If you get hungry there's a small pub over there." She probably became more suspicious then she needed too. He was bordering her land, and she didn't want trouble from anyone. She was starting to get aggravated now, as she thought about the trouble a student could cause to her farm. She exhaled, the was was getting a bit hot... She waves her hand in a smooth movement, she paused and the branch that was extending over her shifted to cover her, and then she she took in a quick breath.
"I run the farm just over there. Horses, cows, sheep, llamas, chickens... We provide most of the direct area's supply. You should come see it sometime." They rarely ever had visitors at the farm, it might be nice for others to see where the food, and produce come from. She shook any thoughts of suspicion from her mind. No, she shouldn't be taking out her frustrations on others.
"There's also a really nice view from one of the hills, if you were interested."

His smooth brows twitched slightly, lips pressing together. She reminded him of a mom. He wasn't sure if it was a good or bad thing... or how he felt about it really... but it was a bit unsettling to say in the least. Shifting so that his weight wasn't on the fence any longer, he pushed the falling sleeves back up behind his elbows, "I can leave if that's what you're wantin`." of course he didn't know it was her land. Or really care for that matter. But if he was intruding, then that was a different matter. Slipping his jacket off of its ledge, he started to pick off splinters that had dug into the fabric, eyes glancing up to watch the woman before him.
Raising a brow ever so slightly, barely even noticeable, his picking hand slowed in it's work. For awhile he was quiet... "Do you always invite strangers to your home?" he asks in a plain tone. It wasn't his intention to sound rude, or mean, it was just straight forward, like always. After all it was pretty odd to him that some random chick he'd never met would be offering him up to her farm. He wasn't some abandoned child, or weary traveler.

"Well you're already at my home." She said. "This is my land, but I'm not inviting you to my manor. Just to point you in the direction of a hill on my property that will offer nice views. Though the simplicity of here, is also nice." She shrugged some, she had made her offer, and he didn't seem to like her in general.
"Take it or leave it." She waved her hand in a dismissive way, to him, and the branch that had been shading her, went back to it's natural position. She then turned back down the road and set off. She locked her hands behind her back back again, and she closed her eyes as she walked.
Listening to what the wind had to say.
