It was a night like this, with school looming only a few days away, that the blond felt something of a deep sadness resonating within him. He didn't want to return, a return to a normal life, and deal with the homework and obligations which came with the return to school. It just left an odd feeling within him, one which he wished to push away and be rid of but also wanted to keep close. It was odd to want something and yet not want it, two such contrasting thoughts on it.

It was for that reason that tonight was a night where no energy was gathered. it was a night of roof top jumping as he moved through the city. He wasn't looking for anything in particular, he was just enjoying the last few nights of freedom from the obligations of school. He needed tonight for himself, to be free and to enjoy what he was doing for himself.

He never did things for himself, aside from panting and tending the greenhouse. Shopping he did for himself but that was a little thing. Big things he didn't do for himself like school and events and all those other things he was made to go to by his mother.

The Negaverse was a big thing he'd decided to do for himself, and tonight the simple pleasure of the cool summer air and the city laid out before him in a seemingly endless space of roof tops and buildings; was all for himself. Stopping, in order to tuck blond bangs behind his ears, he smiled softly, his gave drifting up toward the barely visible stars and the moon. As lovely as it was he knew about it's Queen and her atrocities. But still even knowing that it didn't take away from the beauty of the moon. A breeze, which he seemingly leaned in to, had the blonds eyes drifting closed as he savored the cool air against his cheek.

He needed tonight, he really did.

Two down for the week and he still had all weekend to deal with a few more before school started. Homework and classes were really going to put a buzz kill on his nightly entertainment but he'd figure out a way to work around it somehow. He was smart. He'd just have to find a way to write it into his scheduel and not let his parents notice what the notes meant.

This would make three for the week if he could just get the stupid little thing to die. He'd never run into a youma this small before and it was starting to get on his nerves. The damn thing was like a humming bird flitting around and laughing at him.

Oh it was going to get what was coming to it because he'd found a trash can and he was going to use it like a frying pan and give the stupid bird thing a nice wall to run into.

As he hefted the lid he waited and watched the youma's pattern. After a while ti was easy to see how it was darting around and he stuck the lid out at just the right time and grinned brightly at the satisfying clang as the creature slammed into the metal. Dust filtered down behind it and he checked to make sure the youma was actually gone before tossing the lid aside.

The same thing was an issue he was facing. Finding time to work in duties along with school, but like the other he was figuring he'd work it into his already busy schedule. He'd lose some sleep but he'd try and make it up on the weekends, it was the only time he'd be able to recoup lost sleep. It wasn't something he was looking forward to, school and the tight schedule, but he'd have to deal with it. He didn't have much of a choice.

Coming out of his thoughts, and his enjoyment of the night air, he returned to his movement through the city's skyline. Stopping when he picked up on a nearby senshi. Turning his course he headed that way and finally was leaning over a roof top, watching the senshi down below.

"Tsk, tsk." Moving to sit on the roof tops ledge he settled for summoning his brush and dropping it down, aiming for the senshi's head. He'd thrown a rock once before, so he wasn't above this action. It was immature, without a doubt, the last senshi he'd been aiming to hit her and get her to leave. This senshi he simply wanted the attention of. Booted legs lazily swung back and forth over the roofs ledge.

"Someone didn't teach you proper manners, did they?" He questioned, glancing down at the dark haired senshi. "Someone really should do that, or I hear they make books for dummies. Perhaps they have an addition on that." Referring to the youma killing he'd just seen. Unlike the knight he'd started a fight with for the slaying of a youma he didn't do so here, and he couldn't come up with a reason for the difference in behavior. Well, he could, the problem was it was an answer he didn't want to give thought or voice to; or as little as possible.

He'd felt someone watching him but hadn't bothered to really pay much attention to it. He figured if it was someone who really wanted him dead they'd have attacked him while he was distracted with the youma instead of just watching. Odds were that he would have just walked off if he hadn't felt something hit him in the head.

He looked at the paintbrush that fell at his feet, leaning over to pick it up, before leaning his head back to look up. "I need manners? You're the one dropping things on poor innocent boy's heads." He probably would have been a lot meaner if he hadn't recognized the blond sitting on the building's edge.

"You could come down here and say hello instead of dropping your toys on me." He waggled the paint brush at the other.

"That, is hardly a toy." He stated, pointing a finger to the brush in the others hand. "That is a tool with which art can be created." He spoke while looking down, there was no way he was jumping. Benitoite was not stupid enough to try and see if he could jump this distance, and not break both legs.

"Or you could come up here. As for manners, I'm not the one killing." Rolling his shoulders as he spoke, in an almost lazy manner. Something had him in a good mood tonight, a really good mood, and it wasn't schools fast approach. The night itself was the cause for his pleasant mood.

"Than again....I believe I've been compared to a robber or a thief. That aside though...why not come up here and return that to me, I'm not one to jump from buildings."
PostPosted: Sun Sep 04, 2011 2:18 pm

"Toy, tool ... close enough." He grinned and twirled the paint brush between his fingers. "So being able to leap tall buildings in a single bound didn't come with your super powers? bummer."

He kept the other boy where he could see him as he headed around the side of the building. It was close enough to another on that side that he could propel himself up to the roof by jumping between walls.

His heels clicked softly as he landed on the roof with a grin. "You should complain to someone if you can't jump off a roof. It's not fair"

"Of course not, were not comic book superheroes." He didn't call his side villains, they weren't. "Just as your side I've learned aren't wanna be wizards." He spoke, smirking down at the other. "As far as the close enough part, I'll have you know that for an artist the two things are quite far apart." Nose up in the air as he spoke, that arrogance coming to the forefront.

"I'm not about to complain about what I've thus far been given. And I know I'll eventually be able to teleport, which is far better than leaping tall buildings in a single bound." Maybe it make him the one closer to being a wizard? Though he didn't have magic, so perhaps not.

Standing slowly he turned to the other and went to retrieve his brush from the senshi. "I never did ask last time we met. But what senshi are you and senshi of what exactly?" Somehow he had the distinct feeling he didn't want to know, the darker haired male looked like a walking vampire. It wasn't a bad look overall, though it was more than he'd personally like; though; though it was surely warm. So was he senshi of blood, vampires, spiders...God he hoped the last was not the answer to his question.

"Most of my side would say you're the villians. Which is kinda funny since usually comic villians are horribly ugly looking or have disastrous taste in clothes." So far the Nega's he'd seen didn't fall into either category which would mean they weren't comic villians. That didn't change that he felt like the new-age spiderman some days. It was amazing.

At the last question he flourished his coat dramatically and bowed. "Sailor Arachne. Senshi of Spiders at your service." He was used to people guessing that one pretty quickly. The broach or his wrist cuff gave it away pretty well.

"If that were the case I wouldn't be involved in this war. I'd hardly allow myself to be anything but well tended in appearance, and I'm not the hero sort." He stated, taking back his brush and letting it vanish off to subspace. He'd call for it if he needed it later this evening, he didn't need it here with this senshi. The only battle going on here was the one within himself right now. He wanted to leave, to just part ways, but he also wanted to stay here. It was a war he hated, one he'd never suffered before.

A small, polite if not sarcastic, clapping for the other. Dull and halfhearted at best. "No need for the dramatics, though I must say I was hoping for some other answer. Perhaps vampires, or something a little less...creepy and crawly." He really had serious issues with spiders. Why did this senshi have to be the senshi of spiders?

"Lieutenant Benitoite." As way of introducing himself. A simple bow given, one arm across his mid section as he bowed. Straightening he kept his eyes on the other, debating if he should leave or remain here. He didn't like knowing the other would remain on his mind as he had thus far. He didn't even think before he spoke, normally he was better at that. He didn't have tact, even if he could make his opinion said in a polite way. This was not one of those moments. "I hate you, you know. I can't stop thinking about you. It's not right." It wasn't right to keep thinking of someone else, someone he didn't even know. It went against his normal, personal, morals. He hated it really. Maybe it was good to leave. That thought in mind he went to hurry past the other while keeping it from looking like he was hurrying. His cheeks flush a soft pink hue.

The truth was he didn't hate the senshi, as much as he should. He just...he didn't like this battle within himself and he needed to put an end to it. There couldn't be anything here, this was a senshi; imagined loophole or not. It still remained that they might wind up in a battle against each other, or a friend of his might hurt the senshi of spiders, or vice verse. He didn't even take in to consideration the others views on dating. But he didn't think about that, he knew his own opinions and this, the first meeting, went against it even if it was worth it. His thoughts were just...less than organized.

"Creepy crawlie is fun though and it's not like i can make them appear" He might have issues with it if his powers could summon the little arachnids. They weren't exactly his favorite thing when in the flesh as it were. They did add to his look though and he liked the fact that half of people he met seemed to think he was a vampire. It was like being as famous as Dracula.

He hadn't expected the other thing the Lieutenant said. As Benitonite tried to go past him he caught the other boy by the arm. "Hey ... that's not nice. You can't just tell me you hate me and then walk off blushing like that." He was pretty sure if the other boy actually hated -hated- him he'd have just attacked him and been done with it.

"Did our last meeting really get to you that much?" He was used to making an impression on people but the last one who'd actually 'fallen' for him he was at least dating.

That was good news, he couldn't summon the things, he really had issues with spiders. At least knowing that the senshi of spiders, who'd have thought there was such a senshi, couldn't summon them to do his bidding. It was good news at least. The other did look like a vampire, not Dracula, but still a vampire none the less. it was a fitting look for the other, he wore it well.

Raising a brow, pale eyes similar to slate, stared at the other. "I can, if you'd allow it. However, I will answer your question with a simple yes. As for anything deeper suffice it to say I can't stop thinking about that, you, and questioning my own morals, behavior, and opinion up till that point in regard to such things. It's dis concerning." He stated, wishing and trying to shake his arm free. He felt rather confused and couldn't figure out where his morals about such things should lie. Should it matter to him so much if it dating or not? Was there a line to draw for himself? He didn't like trying to figure out his morals, on top of everything else as of late.
PostPosted: Sun Sep 04, 2011 3:37 pm

"No. It's really bad form to say something like that and just run away. You didn't strike me as the sort to do things like that." given that the blond kept going on about morals and such. His own were rather ... loose so he'd never bothered worrying too much about them. Having strict morals just seemed to hold people back from enjoying themselves and actually getting anything done in life.

"So you're still worried about snogging a senshi?" He rasied a brow. "I thought we'd worked that out. I'm not trying to kill the lot of you, no reason to, so i'm not really your enemy other than not being whatever you are." The senshi that the blond should be worrying about were the ones actually trying to stop whatever the negaverse was doing. Him dusting a few youma was just sport. Civilians could probably dust them if they tried hard enough so it wasn't any different than that.

Turning his head, away from the other. "A point given to you." He stated, calm. He normally the sort to say something and flee, it wasn't who he was. He had no issues saying what he thought, it wasn't a lie so why should he be bothered by what he said? But this bothered him, the whole topic did.

He'd never seen the self made, in part at least, leash as holding him back from enjoying things. It kept him out of trouble and gained him trust from his parents to have a car, to go out, to drive around, to have a debit card. It earned him things. And the last meeting had him questioning his morals and wondering if others were right, if he should take advantage of his freedoms and do other things he'd never previously allowed himself to do.

"That is the smaller part. My issue is mainly with myself, my own morals." Shaking his head he focused back on the other. "You have me questioning myself., more than anything else." And that was what had him in this state. He had been out hoping tonight to relax and calm his frazzled mind. But instead...this.
PostPosted: Sun Sep 04, 2011 4:15 pm

"Well. In my not so super-hero life i am working on a psychology degree. You could talk to me about it." He reached up and flipped Beni's ponytail over his shoulder. "Questioning yourself is the best way to actually learn about yourself you know. Everyone grows and changes and i'd think something like joining this..." he waved a hand at their outfits "would require some shuffling of morals and beliefs."

He'd have to shuffle his own. Normaly he was perfectly happy to have more than one boyfriend or girlfriend at a time but he usually also told everyone involved. It would be a little hard for Lysander to be dating someone and Arachne to be dating someone else. It wasn't like he could tell the respective significant others about the other people. Not without revealing things he shouldn't do for his own safety (not to mention his parents)

He also had somewhere completely away from anyone else living to go think but that was a different story. "I can be fair and unbiased when i need to be"

Sniffing he ignored the other flipping his hair. "I thought I had done enough of that, not to mention I didn't think it would reach into this area of life." He stated. The other was working a psychology degree. "You don't look old enough to go to university." Than again he might just be that old, it wasn't that much of a difference in age or appearance. Not to mention some people never looked their age.

He was shuffling a lot around and it wasn't easy, he knew he'd juggle around his emotions and thoughts but also how he managed his time. Benitoite, and as Alexandre, he was an organized person. It was something he needed to be in order to just function and not waste time. But right now he was finding organizing very hard to do. he had two lives to keep separate and both had needs, demands. "You can handle helping someone else while your also likely to be in a similar position?" He questioned, critically.
