He dangled one leg down off the streetlight bar he was sitting on as he looked out over the city. He hadn't found any youma to deal with that night since everything roaming around either wasn't worth his time or was, if his phone was right, being targeted by another senshi. He hadn't wanted to run into any of them over some pitiful youma so he'd perched himself on a street light to wait.
If he was lucky something else would turn up and he would have something to do. If not he'd have to power down and be normal for a night.
"Which is so boring." He informed the universe as he tipped his head back. It had to be the universes fault that he was stuck being bored. All of his friends were busy since it was a school night and there weren't any youma to deal with. It had to be a cosmic punishment for something.
Not that he'd done anything worth being punished for but he couldn't think of any other reason.
He supposed he could track down a negaverser and see about getting rid of them for a night but he still didn't see the point. It wasn't like he was going to kill them and he doubted that just a beating would make them stop whatever they were doing. At least with the youma once he'd trashed them they stayed down.

Lieutenant Osumilite reeked of alcohol. This was due largely in part of his intoxication, having spent the night with a pretty young woman at one of the emptier bars in Destiny City. After all, it was a weekday night and the bars were rarely so crowded then. Unfortunately for the young woman, however, the night did not go so well as at that moment she lay in the back alleyway, drained of all her energy and her pocketbook stripped of its cash.
As the eldest of the lieutenants stumbled down the sidewalk counting the cash he had stolen, he detected a faint energy signature of a Senshi nearby. He pocketed the cash as he staggered around, looking for the threat.
"Terrorist, terrorist," he cooed. "Come out, come out wherever you are..."

He looked down as at the same time he registered the feeling of a Negavers agent and someone speaking. He almost laughed as he saw the older man.
"First. I'm not a terrorist. Second i'm in plane sight so i can't really come out of anywhere." He didn't get down off his perch but tensed slightly. Last time he'd been caught by one of that sort he'd been attacked and he didn't want to repeat the process. The youma were bad enough and he really didn't want more cuts. The first set had been hard enough to explain to his mother when she'd seen it.

Osumilite laughed. Of course the terrorist would be reluctant to identify himself as such. They were so disillusioned into thinking they were making the world a better place in such ignorance of their invasiveness on the planet. They must be removed, but they were a reluctant group of ******** with sharp tongues and magical powers - but the lieutenant had confidence in himself, and confidence in the goals of the Negaverse to protect the planet.
"Well then, why don't you grow some balls and come off that street light?" he taunted. "Or are you just a coward? A cowardly little alien, seeking to destroy the planet but to afraid to fight against those who seek to defend it? You Senshi are truly pathetic and despicable beings."

At the older man's words he did laugh. "What? Please tell me you're drunk or something because i have no idea what you're going on about." He was defenatly not getting off the street light if the man was drunk. They were bad enough, at least the ones that were violent, when sober he wasn't sure he wanted to know what a drunk one could do.
"Last time i checked my family was pretty 'green' so we're not destroying the planet. And i don't get how a senshi can destroy a planet either. Unless when you get stronger you get -that- strong."
Which would be pretty kick-a** powers. Not that he'd go around blowing up planets but that kinda power had to be epic.

Osumilite laughed some more. Was this Senshi unaware of his group's cause? Its goals?
"You ignorant fool," he grinned. "Drunk I may be, but of the two of us, you are the one who cannot see things clearly. You Senshi have destroyed planet after planet - your own damn foreign planets - and now you have come to Earth to do the same. Do you know not your own history? Or do you just blindly fight with no cause?" His tone had shifted from amused to infuriated within a moments. "You disgust me."

"Again with this crap." He rolled his eyes. "I'm not fighting for anything other than the fact that i enjoy dusting youma. I haven't picked a fight with any of you because i have no reason to."
He didn't know why the Negaverse seemed so determined to blame everything on the senshi just because they existed. He'd never attacked one of them. "No i don't know the history of the senshi and i'm not sure i should believe what you tell me anyway. Whatever you say is going to have your side's spin on it. So it might not be the truth either."

"You Senshi are so close-minded, so blinded by your arrogance," he called out. "You're supposed to be a soldier, are you not? Why don't you find out what cause your aligned with, maybe then you'll realize where you have gone wrong. The Negaverse would be delighted to have you amongst our ranks." Of course, he didn't fully mean that - not if his reluctance to battle was any indicator of how he would act as an agent. "If you do not want to hear it from me, that is fine. The story is all around you. Turn on the news some time, listen to the stories of the terrorist Senshi who attack the citizens of Destiny City. Then you'll learn."
The news he was referring to was his own segment - Tag Swagger's segment on the Channel 6 News.

"I have watched the news and seen what's going on. So far all i've seen is you people attacking civilians and senshi alike, stealing energy, and constantly telling us we're wrong. So from what i've seen you're not exactly nice people." He grinned as he watched the drunk man. It was amusing in a way to see one of them that was so much older. Everyone he'd met so far had been around his own age.
"I'm working to prove senshi aren't terrorists. The media has just chosen to put that spin on it which probably means that some of you work there. Maybe if you stopped draining innocent people of their energy the senshi wouldn't think you're so bad."
He didn't comment on being a soldier. He was one and he'd proved it time and time again. He just wasn't fighting the negaverse other than by destroying their youma.

"The media is only reporting the truth, but we have no ties with them," he said, his voice steady. "If you'd watch the news more closely, boy, you'd see how you terrorists are terrorizing the city with your antics and leaving a field of destruction wherever you step foot. You have destroyed planet after planet, and are slowly destroying this one. We don't drain energy to be cruel, we need the energy to fight you off, to defend this planet. If you truly wanted to protect the people, you Senshi would all stop fighting. You'd all leave this planet, and if you can't find a way to do that then you'd kill yourselves."
Osumilite was speaking the truth, or the only truth that could be understood. "I'll let you live, Senshi; I'll spare your life because you're nothing more than a foolish, ignorant scared child. But I encourage you to think the next time you step outside your door. Question whether you are on the right side in this war. Because believe me, it'd be best if you just turned around and went back inside, boy."
The lieutenant spat onto the floor. Sure, it was far and away from hitting the Senshi perched on the street light, but its meaning carried the same weight. With that, the lieutenant turned away and leapt onto the nearest rooftop - and leapt from rooftop to rooftop until he faded away into the night.
