~~ She's one of the prettiest girls in the school. Her skin is flawless, her hair gorgeous, her eyes lovely...So what's the one thing keeping her back from being popular with the men?
Her love of rats. She has several domestic ones. And most people think rats are disease-ridden freaks.
So, now one of the newer boys, popular with the ladies, decides to try and talk with her. When he discovers her little obsession, will he still want to be friends with her?
NOTE: She's also a genius when it comes to rats. So expect a bunch of information that you didn't know about rats. <3 :3

Bio: She'd always had a love of rats, but never had her own, even though she begged and begged her mother. Finally, when her father died when she was only ten, her mother felt sympathetic and bought her a pair of the cute fuzzies. Now, five years later, she has two little girls and two little boys. Rats, of course.

AGE: 18████████THEME: Poker Face (Accepted ^_^ Don't mind the fancy-ish post, I've liked them as of late :3)
Mickey's eyelids fluttered open. Reaching out her hand, she picked up her alarm-clock. Five A.M. She sat up, yawning as she stretched her arms and legs. The rat-lover slid out of her bed, walking out of the room and downstairs to the kitchen. She gathered the food that her rats were fed(lab blocks, carrots and some brocoli, as well as some fresh spinach leaves), then returned upstairs and fed her lovely critters. Calvin and Tyler snuggled together in the back of the cage, but sped to the front upon seeing their nom-noms. Amy and Mizuki pawed at their cage side.
Once that was finished, Mickey proceeded downstairs and ate her breakfast, some bacon and eggs. She then to shower,dressed in a pink tank-top and black long pants, along with her white socks and matching sneakers. She combed her hair, brushed her teeth, then checked the clock again. It'd been an hour since she woke up, and had a free half-hour until the bus came at six-thirty. Sighing, the rat-lover walked downstairs and got ready for another humiliating day of school.

Lex was already up and ready, wearing a thick black sweater and jeans, wearing his jersey underneath. He grabbed some toast, and his wallet, and left his house. Walking out of his apartment, he locked it behind himself, and jumped down the stairs. Heading to the bus stop, he had to hurry, because he lived farther than school than most. He grabbed a seat in the back of the bus when it arrived, and let the bus carry him along the way

Lex looked over at the girl who just sat down across from him. He glanced for a short while, then put his head back down. But as he did, he realized something. This girl was familiar. Yeah , she was in his science class, and pretty damn smart it too, especially in biology. His train of thought slammed the breaks.This girl was that Rat Girl. He realized that he was starring at her this entire time, and hid his face immediatlly afterwards with a sublte blush at this unintentional stare.

The bus jerked to a slow halt, as everyone got off the bus. Lex got up, and unknowingly dropped his wallet onto the seat, and started to get off the bus

The girl picked it up curiously, and glanced down the bus isle for anyone who could've dropped it. Spotting a rather muscular boy, she hurried after him. "Hey! Wait!"

"Hey! Wait!" Someone shouted. Lex turned around, to see the girl who sat across from him on the bus. "
"My wallet...Thanks."
He said as he recovered his lost possesion. As their hands met, he noticed that her hands wers soft. Really soft, yet, had a slight callus to them. He put his wallet in his pocket, and looked up at her.
"Have we met before?"
He said with a small smile.
