Background:Joann's mother was a weapon, her father being her mothers Meister. Her mother was a Katana, So nobody know's how she got scythe blood, But her family suspects her great-great grandfather was a scythe as well. At first her older brother, which had graduated from DWMA once she attended, volunteered to go back to the academy to be his sister's meister, Seeing his weapon had left him to become a kishin instead, But Joann politely refused to this. She also had a small crush on Death the Kid, Seeing they have a small thing in common, They both like symmetry and perfection. Whenever something is not perfect or symmetrical though, She ends up fainting or simply throw a major tantrum. She mostly faints, though.
Abilities:She can pack a punch, Weapon mode or not, She even has a special move of her own when she's not in weapon form: The Joanna Chop; She can deliver a painful blow to the head of the victim, Quite like the Maka and Shinigami Chop, But in her own way, Since she does it twice, Once with each hand, Making it a very painful blow indeed.
