 He ambled around easily enough. Elegance, he needed to work on that. His body upright, he barely slouched anymore. Another thing that was progressively getting better with time. He shook his delightful mane of gloriously glossy locks. Well, why improve on perfection? His hair was one thing he prided himself on. Just about the only thing, oh and his glorious eaglehound form. He was growing tired. His journey with Look-See was long. How a nearly blind doe managed that deep into the swamp was a mystery even for an ascended stag such as himself. He paused and looked down. Another foreign mark was etched into the ground. He was getting closer to what. He ventured forward, debating if he should make the seamless switch to his smaller form.

 Wane was gathering ingredients, both for dinner and spells, when she heard someone approaching. Of all the bad luck, a visitor when Wax was off marking their territory. Not that he was far away, but the twins preferred to meet guests together. Leaving her gathered items, herbs and berries in one turtle shell and pebbles, thin vines and random things in another, Wane heads off as silently as she can to get Wax.
As luck would have it Wax was done making their mark and met his twin before she got halfway to their den. "Where's the.." He starts to ask. "Stuff? I left it to come get you. We have a visitor. C'mon." Wane turns and starts back the way she'd come, picking her steps just as carefully to avoid making noise. When they've almost reached the spot Wane had been she stops, flicking Wax's side with her tail and nodding in front of them. Movement in the leaves and hoof-beats are the only indication that someone approaches.

He heard them before seeing. They moved around enough. Ignoring his instinct driven desire to flee and hide-- never, no more, nevermore-- he stood solidly, his hips in perfect alignment with the legs. He looked down, more weird glyphs stared back. An ominous foreboding feeling followed. Eh, it can't get much worse than this. With that he heralded, "Who's there?"

"We.." Wax starts, followed closely by his twin. "..are." Wane gives her brother a smile then walks over to the Stag. "Such a handsome.." Her eyes rove over Fiend as she speaks. "..Stag you are. Want to.." Wax eyes his sister, reading her eyes as he start the invitation. "..play with us?" Wane finishes, her tone making it clear what type of fun they have in mind. Stag or not this male is too handsome not to flirt with. And his colors would go well with her. Both twins just hope he'd be willing to include them both.

You didn't need instincts to know these two were up to no good. Inwardly he flinched but with faux bravado and confidence he stood his ground. A really weird turn of events led him here. If it weren't for those signs he wouldn't.. Wait, what were those glyphs for? And what really went on here? Curiosity triumphed creepy, slinky fear.
"What kind of fun do you mean? What exactly do you do here?" he asked in a voice he hope was nonchalantly.

The twins give each other a smile. "Magic is.." Wane starts, "..what we do." Wax finishes. Wane walks right up to the Stag, leaning in close to give him a gentle n** on his neck. "I'm sure we could find.." "..some way to entertain you." They reply. Wax comes up on Fiend's other side, giving him a nuzzle as well.fluorescein What is personal space? XD
