Alianar was trying to find his way to Lynd's room without having to disturb the other occupants of the journeyman's hallway. It wasn't as if he wouldn't see her in lessons, but he did want to introduce Lynd to Alianarsk so that the wher would know, in the future, that he could trust her and, hopefully, her wher. Lynd's wher had hatched a day or so before his, or that's what he thought he'd heard when he was in the bath, so that meant she was off of egg duty and would already have settled in with her wher partner. Asuming she hadn't gotten an aggressive wher, Alianar should be able to show up at her rooms without being attacked.

"You need to be on your best behavior," he told Alianarsk, looking down at the almost knee-high Blue wher trotting at his side. "This is another wher and wherhandler pair. Lynd is my friend, and I think she can be yours too."

Alianarsk let out a few clicks. "Svrr."

Alianar glanced down, but it sounded like a noise of agreement to him.

Good Alianarsk, the wher promised. Good Alianar human?

"Yes. I'm sure she'll like you right enough," he promised in return. "Good human."

He'd come to the end of the hall and he stopped and turned around before crossing into the next corridor. He'd missed it somewhere. He sighed. I don't think we're going to find her this way, though.

Thankfully for Alianar he would not be fated to wander the are aimlessly for very long. Lynd had decided that it would be best to start socializing Lyndsk to both other people and other Whers as soon as possible, given her slightly possessive nature she had further decided that it was probably best to these introductions outside of their dwelling where Lyndsk had already laid claim to several items which might cause some issues should someone the green not know attempt to touch or take them. In order to do this evening walks had become the order of the night.

Lyndsk had quickly become fond of these walks and greeted each adventure with a series of excited chirps and clicks that warned anyone who might be approaching that they were coming. The green seemed to enjoy vocalizing their entire journey to some degree and Lynd was quickly learning to differentiate the Wher's various sounds from on another. Which made her look down quickly when a particularly delighted chirp issued from her green.

Lyndsk had found what looked to be a scrap of cloth. 'Mine' The green stated victoriously and Lynd sighed "No..someone else left that there. Not everything you find is yours" Lynd explained patiently, squatting down in the middle of the hallway to try and extract the bit of cloth without making the green disagreeble. Thankfully Lyndsk wasn't too attacked to her new find - or perhps she was suddenly distracted by the arrival of a blue and his handler up the hallway but Lynd was able to get the cloth and put it elsewhere until Lyndsk forgot.

Rising she glanced down the hallway, smiling as she recognized the handler "Alianar!" She called out to him. She hadn't gotten the chance to see him since Lyndsk had hatched and so hadn't known he'd gotten a blue until just now.

"Vrsk?" Lyndsk chirped questioningly as she eyed the blue and his handler and Lynd laid hand on her head reassuringly " Don't worry they're friends" She reassured the little green.

Alianarsk had heard the sound of voices-- wher and human-- and turned. Krr hrrm? His eyes latched on the cloth the human was holding. Tiny human covering. Immediately, he was intrigued and focused on that cloth, though his eyes moved on to strange curious Green wher. Human covering. Human covering.

Alianar turned, the shout grabbing his attention in a way the murmur of voices hadn't. He grinned and waved back.

"Lynd, hello! And hello to you, too," he added, looking down at Lyndsk. His gaze when it met Lynd's again was pleased. "Congratulations. I'd heard yours had hatched already. We came to visit. This is Alianarsk."

Alianar looked down at his Blue, who appeared distracted, and rested a hand on his head. "Say hello, Alianarsk."

The wher looked up, then looked back at the human, though the cloth was far from forgotten. "Vrrrrr. Sskss." His eyes redirected to Lyndsk and he tilted his head with a click at her. "Vrk."

This one had the human covering before. He would have to get it when she wasn't looking or she might try to take it too. Small wher. Small strange Green wher. Small strange Green wher's human making sounds. Talking. He looked up again, eyes whirling green with interest at the new human's different sounds.

Lynd nodded "A few days ago..we've been taking these walks so she'll get used to being near others. Figured it never to early to start socializing" Lynd had heard the stories of ill tempered whers attacking people for small reasons and while to be sure it had something to do with the Wher's personality she believed it also might have something to do with how it was raised. Lyndsk seemed fairly good tempered..so she didn't think it would be hard to keep the green friendly.

"I wasn't sure if your had hatched or not but he's a lovely blue" She told him with a smile to Alianarsk "Hello Alianarsk" Of course her attention to the blue did not go unnoticed by Lyndsk who butted her head into Lynds knee as though to remind her where her attention ought to lie. 'Oh hush, you know I love you best' Lynd mentally told the little beast which seemed to sooth her well enough because she turned her attention to the blue and gave him what sounded to Lynd like a welcoming chirp while Lynd introduced her to Alianar "This is Lyndsk"

He hadn't thought about socializing him with more than just Lynd and maybe one of the other new journeymen wherhandlers if he came across them. It would be a great idea to start him off now, though, so that Alianar could be sure Alianarsk wouldn't balk later on when he had to be around other people and whers for lessons and his future career in mining. Alianarsk, being so newly born, hadn't really had the chance to socialize like that yet, since Alianar took the first day after his hatching to spend time with his new partner alone. He would have to take him around gradually to places that were more and more crowded in the wherhandling areas so that Alianarsk could get used to being around others. If nothing else, he could see how much work it would take to get Alianarsk acclimated to large crowds.

Alianarsk arched his little neck slightly at the compliment, eying Lynd with favor. He knew a compliment when he heard one, even if his grasp of Pernese was still growing.

"Mrrrr."

Alianar glanced over at the content rumble and grinned, setting a hand briefly back on the wher's head. "Thanks." He grinned at Lyndsk. "We got very lucky, getting such strong bonds with our whers." He looked down at Lyndsk, giving her his undivided attention. "It's nice to meet you, Lyndsk."

Alianarsk, unbothered by Alianar's polite attention to the others, looked back at small Green Lyndsk when she chirped at him, his eyes whirling a bit more quickly with curiosity, but still a pleasant shade of green. Lyndsk human friend good. Lyndsk good, too? He wouldn't bet his safety on moving closer just yet, but he continued to observe her behavior from next to Alianar. If Lyndsk did something, his handler would back him up.

Lynd smiled as the blue seemed to take to her compliment well enough - flattery rarely seemed to fail with man or beast it seemed like. Of course she really did mean it, Alianarsk did look to be a good and sturdy beast and his coloring was bright and pretty to boot. Of course she didn't know much bout his personality yet but he seemed to be even tempered enough - at the very least he wasn't snarling at Lyndsk which was good enough for her.

"We did" She agreed "Of course I didn't expect anything less, and surely the blooding helped" She was sure that Alianar had blooded his wher as well. It was silly not to do so and they'd talked about it briefly before hand.

Lyndsk seemed equally pleased by the attention Alianar gave her and churred at him pleasantly in response. 'Person good' She relayed to Lynd 'Blue maybe good' She went on further eyeing the other Wher.

"Did you want to take them out for a bit?" She asked Alianar "it should be dark enough by now that they won't be bothered"

"Well, with mining, what else could we do? You're right, though, the blooding likely helped and I'd love to take them out." He smiled down at Alianarsk. "What do you say? Want to see outside?"

Alianarsk's attention redirected itself to his handler, though the human covering was still in the back of his mind. Outside? It took him a moment to process Alianar's offered images, and then the excitement swamped the handler, though Alianarsk managed not to do more than lash his tail slightly. Yes. Outside.

Alianar grinned and looked up at Lyndsk. "I think we're clear." He gestured past the older girl. "Shall we?"

Lynd nodded at the truth in his words, in order to help keep the Whers friendly with others it was important that they have a strong bond - it simply wouldn't do to help dig a miner out of a cave in only to have the poor man savaged by a Wher a few moments later due to some slight he likely didn't even know he had made.

Lyndsk - having already been promised the prospect of going outside couldn't help but dance a bit in place at the mention of it again. 'Outside!' She demanded of Lynd and chuckling slightly Lynd started down the way they had been going before they had gotten distracted. "Come along then Lyndsk" She told the little green who trotted quickly after her leaving the blue and his handler to follow.

Once they got to the opening Lynd could see that it was indeed dark enough that the hatchlings shouldn't be bothered and chirping with excitement Lyndsk barreled past, stopping to sniff at things as she went with curiosity. "Let them get rid of some of thier energy before we have to go to lessons" She told Alianar, Lynd didn't want to think of the mischief a bored and energetic Wher could get into.
