But when I set up my tank, it told me when it was going to glow, it said between 12:30 and 12:40pm. However, I never saw it glow?! Does it tell you the glow time in your own time zone, or theirs? And I assume you can see your own tank glow?

you can't see your own tank glow. what'll happen is your posts will have a yellow/gold button next to the edit button that's say Glowing/0 players. the number'll change when people play. The time when it's glowing, the time stated is based on your GMT. let me know if you have any more questions <3

I never saw that button appear o.o; I decided to bump in that time period, the 2nd time it glowed, and one person posted that they booty grabbed, but I didn't see any signs of people using my tank D; I'm well confused lol.

the best thing to do is in that time frame gaia says you'll glow is to camp out in your thread, on your first page. just refresh your thread every 30-60 seconds. when you're glowing, you'll see this:
then just bump your heart out. you need to continuously bump the whole time you are glowing to get the most people to your tank. also, you may not glow right away. you can start glowing at any point in that 10 minute time frame.
remember to visit your aquarium once a day, get your overseer gift and feed the fish. make a point to play one or two tanks a day and bump a few other threads.
if you never glow in that ten minute time frame, your timezone in your account settings is wrong. you have to go in there and fix it. it's based on your GMT, not gaia's.

I camped out on my front page when the glow was due and it didn't come up at all, that glowing button sad
