It frustrated Asclepius to feel stuck with a problem. She was used to having some sort of direction, even for difficult tasks; she was used to learning things that built upon what she already knew, taking her in steps towards a solution. Her lofty ambition, to try to somehow cure corruption, was definitely alien territory for her.
She was also used to frustration at problems further fueling her efforts, but for tonight, all the senshi could think of to do was pace the roof of a building and kick at the loose gravel there.
The Senshi of Medicine had some mushrooms from her home asteroid, but had no idea what sorts of chemicals to isolate or look for that might possibly help her. She had no patients to study because she had not yet been able to capture a Negaverse agent, and even if she had one, again, she was not sure what at all she was looking for, exactly. And the idea of experimenting on a live victim turned her stomach - there would be a time for testing whatever concoction she came up with, but of course Asclepius was far from that point right now. Tearing apart another person in the name of study would get her nowhere but to hell.
With a sigh, the girl crossed her arms and stepped to the edge of the roof, letting her toes come just to the edge. She looked out at what she could see of the city from her vantage point, then downwards. It suddenly struck her as strange, that she now thought so little of looking down perhaps twenty-five or thirty feet to the street below. Asclepius had, in a lot of ways, settled in to this whole senshi thing, and more easily than she had expected on the day when she and Sailor Iris had fought the giant mosquitoes.
Of course, that meant that her drive to move forward as she always had came easily to her in her seifuku, as well - she had allies, and the trust of her guardian, and more experience, and felt comfortable enough to be more or less herself now. Driven, ambitious, always needing to work at something ... and cranky when she was not making progress.
Roof grit showered down off the edge of the building as Asclepius turned away to walk to the opposite side again, chewing her lip as she continued to ponder how to proceed. Capture a youma? See if an officer of the Negaverse would consent to a blood test? Isolate whatever made the mushrooms glow, just for curiosity's sake and something to do?

The Dark Mirror Court was still a raw, open wound at this point, and it would likely be forever for the grim faced guardian cat. But still, this soon, she found herself to be quite the fatalist.
She found herself sitting on the molding ledge of a high building, usually not a huge feat for a cat, but she was sitting on this ledge as a human, hugging her legs and staring up into the stars, maybe, quietly, wishing she would come face to face with a member of the 'Usurper's Court' or, better yet, the Negaverse, to save her the humiliation.
Yes, she was feeling that sorry for herself.
But something interrupted this little moment of morbid introspect, as she found the top of her head dusted in falling grit and gravel, which shocked her into feline form, and she realized she had somehow come to share space with a senshi without even realizing it.
"Hello?" She asked, not bothering to shift out of her shadowy little crevasse and meet her new neighbor. "And what star are you named for?"

Asclepius gasped in surprise as she reached the opposite edge of the building and found her toes nearly in someone's hair, and recoiled instinctively.
God, trips to her home asteroid still made her jumpy. Or something. Probably more persistent knowledge that there were people out at night who could and would kill her with magic if they really wanted to.
But this stranger did not seem like an enemy. Asclepius stepped to the edge and looked over again, and saw a fluffy cat. By her voice not *********, but she knew by now that there were more than a few of them wandering around Destiny City.
"I'm Sailor Asclepius," she replied, then awkwardly added, "Sorry if I scared you or got you dirty." Then, "What's your name?"

Zirconia nodded at the introduction and got to grooming her freshly dirtied coat before replying with her introduction.
"Zirconia of the... well the now defunct Black Moon Court, I guess..." She muttered bitterly. There was no chest puffing out or the near silly amounts of pride like usual. Far as she knew there was no semblance of the court left, just the remnants of Ares and Gaia in their corrupted forms and that was nothing to take pride in.

Asclepius crouched on the edge of the roof, taking care to keep her knees together (the curse of short skirts). "Black Moon Court?" she repeated; Zirconia did not sound pleased about whoever they were, and, though the Senshi of Medicine was curious, she ultimately decided not to ask for further details about them.
"Nice to meet you, Zirconia," she settled on, after a pause. "I guess, let me know if there's anything I can do to help?"
