Rikard Colby had been right in his assessment that Cordelia Carden had yet to go spend time at any of the Disney parks. She had left Lucien and Rik to dealing with Demetri and his over-excitement while she'd settled into her own room. Once all of her things had been neatly arranged in drawers and settled where she wanted them to be she'd changed into her swimsuit to head down to the pool, making herself comfortable beneath an umbrella for the rest of the day until dinner.
Dinner, of course, she had given in on and joined the boys at one of the dining establishments attached to their resort, but the next day followed much the same pattern. Once the boys were gone (at least according to the array of text messages and obnoxious facebook updates from Demetri, at least three of which included pictures of her and the others from the night before) she snagged a light breakfast and a bottle of water, heading back down to the pool to catch some of the morning sun.

He'd made it to the resort easily enough and had so far even managed to not let on that he was only a door down from his 'friends' who'd left him behind. He would have to surprise Rikard eventually and he'd almost decided that was going to be his chore for the day when he'd noticed Cordelia was being left alone.
He was still mad at Rikard for not introducing him to her too. It had to be a sign.
He'd eaten breakfast on his balcony and realized that Cordy had gone down to the pool after everyone else seemed to have gone their own directions. Once he'd eaten he pulled on a pair of board shorts and headed down to the pool himself.
At least there was a good reason to actually talk to her, since he doubted Rik had ever mentioned him. There was a group of old men practically drooling as they watched her. Rolling his eyes (amatures) he headed over toward where she was laying.
"Don't want to disturb you but just as a warning you're being oggled by someone's grandfather."

"... You don't want to disturb me, but you're doing so anyways?" Her brow quirked slightly before she slowly opened one eye to peer at the source of the voice, bringing one slender hand up to shield a bit of the sun that would've made it considerably more difficult to make out who, or what, she was talking to.
"I'll consider myself warned... Now, if you'll excuse me? I'm trying to enjoy my vacation." She closed her eye once more as she lowered her hand, shifting her body slowly on the reclining lounge chair to adjust her position ever so slightly.

"Most people don't like being oggled. Thought i'd be nice." He dropped himself down on one of the lounge chairs beside hers. The amazing up side to his sunglasses is he could lay just the right way and see the perfect profile of her body.
Rik was -so- going to get it for hiding this.
She didn't seem like she was all that friendly either, which was a negative, but he could get her to warm up to him. He'd just ahve to give her some time to enjoy the morning sun and hope she asked him questions

She waited a moment or two before shifting again, reaching for her bottle of water so that she could take a slow sip while glancing around. Whoever had been addressing her had been right in point out the attention, but it was at least something that she had gotten used to; or, rather, better at ignoring. Eyes were one thing, everyone looked she was certain, but most of them stayed away from her.
The one who had spoken, though, he'd just... Flopped down right beside her. He had invaded her space and that was one of the last things she'd wanted to deal with.
Cordelia stood slowly after capping her bottle, rolling her shoulders to stretch before setting her sunglasses down so that she could slide into the pool for a quick dip before heading back inside.

He watched her swimming for a bit, wondering how in the world her swimsuit was staying on, before stretching. He flicked a piece of hair out of his face before sitting up, obviously watching her, before actually getting up off the lounge chair.
"since you dont want to be friendly ... tell Rik i'm peeved with him when you see him."
He tucked his feet back into his flip flops before heading toward the gate to the pool

It was more of a quick dip than actual swimming; getting her hair wet and rinsing some of the sweat that had been prickling on her skin off of her body. Her swimsuit seemed to be holding up just fine, much to the dismay of several of the men who'd been watching her (the rather cute lifeguard included).
Her brow furrowed, though, as she brushed hair out of her face, eying the young man who'd addressed her once more. They'd only been her two days and Rik had already gotten himself in trouble? "... What did he do, beat you in a game at the arcade last night? Listen, we're just on vacation trying to enjoy ourselves. Best to just drop it and deal."

"No. He's been too busy with his purple-haired boytoy to actually bother with me so far. Which i should be mad about but i'm letting it slide for the moment."
He paused with his hand on the gate. "Though i guess i could just go bother Demetri. Not that i'd be beating him at anything in the arcade." The blond would be there most likely. If not he'd be on that areosmith rollercoaster (whatever it was called) driving everyone there mad.

"That 'boytoy' has a name... And he's not a 'boytoy'. And what are you anyway, some sort of creepy stalker? I don't remember anyone inviting a creepy stalker around, especially not one that wouldn't know that Dem hates being called Demetri." Her arms crossed over her chest, making it seem slightly more pronounced as she stood there, glaring at the auburn-haired boy.
"Just who do you think you are anyways?"

"Lysander." He grinned as he leaned on the gate and watched her. "And your'e right. Technally i'm the boytoy and Lucien is a dream. Something like that at least, tragic." he sighed dramatically.
"He's never told me i'm not allowed to call him that. I'm friends with both of them not some creepy stalker. If anyone's a stalker it's Demy, who really should learn not to plaster his hourly locations on twitter."

"He tells everyone they're not allowed to call him that." She snorted as she uncrossed her arms so that she could pull herself out of the pool, heading over to snag her towel so that she coul begin the process of patting herself dry enough to head back inside.
"No one's ever brought up your name before... And as far as I know we weren't expecting anyone else. I'd say that, updates excluded, makes you the one who stalked someone down here, be it Rik or Demetri... And will you leave my cousin out of your conversations."

He shrugged. "I don't usually call him that. Easier to actually say his real name some times though and it isn't as if he's here to tell me not to." though he liked calling Demy that just to see him pout about it. It was way too fun.
"I'm hurt Rik's never mentioned me. Wounded really." He would have to ask if Rik was ashamed of him or something. He didn't get why he'd have never even been mentioned, they were suppose to be better friends than that he'd thought.

"You say that like Rikard and I talk on a daily basis." She snorted softly as she wrapped her towel around her middle, picking up the rest of her things before heading for the gate. "I also don't always pay attention to everything Dem says. I'd be out of my mind if I tried to process half the things that come out of his mouth, let alone all of them."
Nudging the gate open she stepped slowly around. "Lysander, was it? If Dem invited you last minute your best bet is to try and track him down yourself... I'm really not in the mood for company."

"You look like you could use the company though." He looked at her, actually meeting her eyes rather than letting his eyes wander somewhere else. "Honestly."
He was used to being able to pick up on things and she looked like she was just trying to avoid company so she could beat herself up about something.
"Sorry for the bad introdouction. Let me take you out to lunch. Don't have to talk to me but you look like you could use someone doing something nice for you for once. Please?"

Cordelia gave the young man her best scrutinizing gaze, pushed right back into her 'suspicious of everyone, mean girl' corner that she had taken to residing in once more since the news of her friends passing, not entirely sure she wanted to risk giving him that chance to get close to her, or get to know her... Especially not if he was friends with Rik.
Eventually she looked away, seeming disinterested as she snorted softly before glancing back at him quickly. "Twenty minutes. I'm going to go back to my room and change and I'll meet you somewhere in twenty minutes..."
