Hobbies: ♘ Horseback Riding
Having grown up on a ranch, Vera has always been around horses. It's only natural that she loves to go horseback riding. When she was younger, she used to enter Equestrian competitions. Now she just does it for fun and tries to find the time to go riding every morning.

♘ Gun Range
Since Vera is daddy's little girl, her father had to make sure that she had a way to protect herself from overly touchy boys. From the moment she was old enough to hold a gun steady he would take her to the gun range to practice her shooting. She is quite good now and still goes every weekend with her father. Vera finds that holding a gun and firing is very comforting to her because she's always done it with her father.

♘ Shopping
To say that shopping is a hobby for Vera would be an understatement. She goes shopping at least once a week and that one time can last for hours. Vera is incredibly spoiled by her father and he buys her whatever she wants since he has the money to. Luckily, she isn't so spoiled as to go out and buy everything she wants. While she is addicted to shopping, she does her best to limit herself to only 10 items per shopping trip. So far, Vera has been able to stick to her limit but that can only last for so long.

♘ Caring for Animals
Vera has always loved being around animals and she volunteers at the local animal shelter. Her best work is with horses since she was raised around them but she loves to care for all types of animals. She also likes to help any strays that she finds, usually it's stray cats and she feeds them and makes sure they get their shots.

Virtues: ♘ Independent
Vera may be spoiled by her father but she is an independent spirit. She only relies on her father's money for shopping trips. On the ranch, she works her butt off to prove that she isn't just living with her parents to have the easy life. Vera is up at the crack of dawn and sometimes before that to start chores, though she goes riding before starting her chores. If she doesn't have school then she is either out with her dad or tending to the horses, cleaning the house, and other things.

♘ Protective
Once Vera cares for someone or an animal, she becomes fiercely protective of them. It's probably because her mother passed away when she was little and she became the only girl on the ranch. As she got older, she slipped into the role of caretaker for her father and older brother. The ex's should know of Vera's protective side for she was most likely the one who drove them off the ranch.

♘ Sweetheart
Deep down, Vera is actually a sweetheart. She is caring and does her best to be kind to everyone she meets. While her cocky side may hide this aspect of her, she honestly isn't trying to be mean. This sweet side shows the most when she is working with animals.

Flaws: ♘ Cocky
Vera can be very cocky at times. This may be her independent side but sometimes she's just too confident in herself. She has a tendency to call out the ranch hands to race her, thinking that she is better than them. Of course, those that have worked for her father long enough know not to take her on since it'd be a waste of their time. Perhaps her father spoiled her too much because she also likes to say things about being prettier than other girls, though she never says it to their face. Still, people who listen will most likely be put off by this side of her.

♘ Tease
Vera loves to flirt but her flirting leads to nowhere. She has a tendency to lead guys on. Vera doesn't need or want a man at the moment. She is only looking to have a fun time but the man she is giving her attention to may not be thinking the same thing. She's definitely had some embarrassing moments when a boy would come by and demand that she tell him she loves him because she was flirting with him. Vera knows it's wrong but she just loves being a tease way too much. In her mind she knows she should stop but she doesn't.

♘ Dreamer
If Vera is not working, it isn't odd to find her sitting down staring off at nothing in particular. She has big dreams about life, dreams that may or may not be able to come true. The problem with this is that sometimes she is living too much in her fantasy world and not enough in the real world. Her wandering mind was the cause of her failing a couple classes in high school.

Hair: She has thick, voluminous brown #946827 hair that is straight but curls at the end. Her hair is long and goes all the way down to the middle of her back.

Clothes: She typically wears a long, dark blue trench coat that hits her knees and she usually has it open. Most often she can be found in tank tops, daisy duke jean shorts, low-heeled leather cowboy boots, and a cowboy hat to match her boots.
