I'm sorry if this posted in the wrong spot.

Two weeks ago I went to Matsuri Con in Columbus Ohio. Jennifer Hale was one of their guests. 3nodding

At the panel I was able to attend, I sat the closest to her! When she came into the room, I was the first to clap and I made my little sqwee(!!!)- happy face! She said that I looked adorable! blaugh

She introduced herself and asked if anybody had any questions about voice acting, the stuff she was in, etc. (It was a QandA panel) Nobody could talk because we were all so amazed! Eventually somebody asked a question and everybody had questions after that! Honestly, I missed the first few questions because the only thing running through my head was, " Commander Shepard is two feet in front of me. Commander Shepard is two feet in front of me!!!!!!!"

I asked how ME3 was coming along voice acting wise and she said that she recorded a really exciting scene and a really sad scene a few days prior to coming to the con. Somebody else asked if she could tell us the end and she giggled and said, nope!

Somebody asked if she prefered to play (as in playing the actual game) renagade or paragon and she said that she tries to play neutral because it's the hardest to do. Acting wise, it's easier and funner for her to record the renagade lines.

Somebody asked if she was keeping up with the whole femshep drama that was going on. She seemed puzzeled at first until I said, "blondshep." Then she was like, "Oh yeah..." She then said that she was really excited that a female main character was finally going to be featured and that she thought that the art team did a good job on all of the designs. She wished that the character design had more flaws, though. ( And all us girls in the placed cheered!)

Somebody asked who her favorite romance option was and she admitted that she hates recording the romance lines because they make her feel awkward! She said that she has to go to her happy place and tell herself, "Okay Jennifer, it's not you saying it, it's Shepard and Shepard happens to care about this person very much...oh God...Here I go..." I'll never be able to do a femshep romance the same way again because now I'll always imagion Jennifer curled up the the corner of the recording booth cradeling her head in her hands! rofl

Somebody asked if she ever used some of her voices to freak people out when she walks down the street. She said no, but her accent tends to change depinding on where she is. She also told us that once she went into Gamestop and the cashier was very rude to her. A stand of games that she had been in was litterly right behind her and she thought to herself, "I could end you in one sentence, boy..." rofl

She's been in a TON of stuff besides ME! Did you know that she was three different people in the Powerpuff Girls? That was my favorite show when I was little! She was also Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty for some of the new Disney Princess stuff. She also accedently let slip that she finished recording for a new Blizzard game! And something for Lucas Arts!

The panel ended with somebody asking if she could say, "My name is Commander Shepard and this is my favorite store in the Citadel." We all laughed and she was like "Lord help me" through her giggles! rofl She said it and we all clapped and cheered!

I then got her autograph.




I think she's going to be doing cons for a while, so you should check and see if she might be coming to one in your area. 3nodding

Oh my gosh, that is absolutely AMAZING! Like the others, I am UBER jealous! I hope to at least go to a con she is a guest at one day~! <3
