 Rinji had traveled for some time now alone, both his parents and siblings had left to parts unknown to make a life for themselves. Well not his mother, goddess of herbs, she mostly stayed in her lands; Sano'Therme. Though the hot springs were a relaxing place Rinji found he enjoyed traveling every once in a while to get away from the dense air of the spring. Thinking of his mother made him think of his other siblings; he wondered what they were up to now. I mean they were still a bit young like him so they mustn’t have traveled that far. He closed his eyes as he enjoyed the stray breeze that suddenly had come his way.
He was thank ful that the day looked promising, the sun was shining and the cool breeze felt wonderfu-*sneeze* Okay so maybe his body wasn't used to the coolness quite yet. He was used to a more muggy atmosphere.

Though she had been living in the Ela'wadiyi for a long enough time for most to feel completely integrated into a new home, Caely still tended to linger on her own along the edges of their territory. Not being the sort to want to bother her other clan members or those of other clans, anything she did, tended to be solitary in nature. Having Wai around made the days less lonely, but the blonde lion wasn't always around to keep her company.
Days like today, unfortunately, when the weather was beautiful for taking a long stroll along the border. At least she could enjoy it on her own though, a bouncing stride carrying her happily through the tall grass or mostly oblivious. The sudden sneeze causing her to start rather abruptly. Jumping and twisting towards the source of the sound as her ears swiveled frantically. W-who is it? W-w-w... who's there?!

Rinji had currently stopped by some water for a drink and to lay under a tree to shade himself off. Then a sudden noise made him blink. A voice? Female? He tilted his head and listened closer. "Um, I am Rinji. Who's there?" The voice sounded a wee bit frightened and he moved around to try to spy who was around the area. "s'ok I won't harm you! Just wandering around the land."
Ah, there she was. He found himself eyeing her down for a moment. She sure was a pretty female, all sorts of splotches on her fur. "Hello, how are you?" He spoke warmly. "I like the feather!"

Hesitantly poking her head up out of the grass from where she lay with her belly low to the ground nervously, Caely blinked at the grey male. Well now, he wasn't so scary! He hadn't even grown into his mane yet! Feeling a bit sheepish about the entire situation the shy, little Ela carefully picked herself up off the ground, ducking her head to hide cheeks heating with embarrassment. How silly she must have looked to him. R-rinji? My name's C-C-Caelyndei.
Stammering, the painted lioness was a bit surprised by the rogue's friendly personality. Gazing lifting towards him with a small smile as she inched closer. T-Thank you.. it was a gift. What's brought you s-so close to the Ela'wadiyi stranger?

He tilted his head and smiled gently. This female reminded him of one of his sisters. Shy little thing he found himself wandering closer. "Yup thats my name don't wear it out~" He said jokingly. " It's nice to meet you Caelyndei." He spoke her name slowly hoping it said correctly. Ela'wadiyi? Huh. That's new never heard of that before. "Oh, I didn't know I was so close to the boarderlands. You can call me Rinji if you want as apose to stranger." He chuckled and sat for a moment for some more chatting.
" Well, I was just out for some exploring as well as some swimming. I wanted to leave my mother's lands for a little while, sometimes a male just needs to be a free spirit." He puffed up his scrawny chest in what he thought was charming. "I've never heard of this... Ela'wadiyi before, sounds like a mouthful. What are you up too?"

Y-you too. Truthfully, Caely didn't meet many rogues now that she had a pride territory to keep to and tons of new pride members to meet. As the adolescent sat she tried to share his calm energy, settling back on her haunches as her tail was tucked around the outline of her shape and across her paws. It's o-okay... I don't think anyone will mind. We're not a violent pride!
Reassuring the rogue with a gentle smile as her head canted with interest. If there was a place to swim near by maybe she should have asked for directions. Certainly Wai would be pleased to find a place like that! Sometimes she wondered if he didn't miss the ocean he seemed so attached to. Y-y... your mom's lands? Where do you hail from?
Honestly curious about the stray's origins, particularly given the interesting markings that curled along his sides. They were somewhat similar to the tattoos that her Ela brothers and sisters wore. Really? I.. I guess that's not a big surprise. We're also kind of a quiet pride.. and I was just.. just going for a walk.. until I met you of course.

Nodding his head. He liked that. Violence was pointless surving nothing but pain and sorrow to those involved. " Well, my mother Valetudo`Sero lives off the land near rogue called-" He sneezed again and shivered somewhat before shaking it off. "Sorry, its not called achoo but Sano'Therme. The pride that is dedicated to the healing arts, both teaching and practicing. Thier creed is 'Harm none' so no one is turned away, well almost no one. This cread prevents the healers from intentionaly killing another living creature so there is two other sections to the pride besides healing; crafting and hunting, this will be explaind in more detail later. It is located in a hot spring area . Oh! My mother is also the goddess of the herb lore, so that would make me part 'god' I guess you can say."
He moved his front paw to his mane and lazily scratched an itch. " Yeah, I don't get out much... I just came out here to bath and have a look around before I head off back home. One day I hope to find my place within a pride, if I don't choose to stay within my mothers homeland."

Veletudo'Sero... Repeating the name in an almost quizzical fashion she was trying to keep up with the speed of the young male's conversational pace. He seemed to bounce around quite a bit. From his mother's whereabouts to the pride she assumed he.. or maybe his mother, or both even? had hailed from. To the practices of said pride and the lions in it. To where they were located! It wasn't a place that sounded particularly familiar, but then Caelyndei had never been one to wander to close to the pride lands that surrounded her back when she had been growing up as a rogue.
Trying to gather her wits as a dumbfounded expression accumulated upon a tiny, white maw that remained slack jawed with awe. That last statement, well, not literally his last statement, but the one that stood out to Caely the most caused the lioness to shrink with surprise. The son of a goddess?! Now, she had heard stories about Gods and Goddesses lurking about in the mortal realm, but honestly, who ever thought them to be anything but fanciful stories? Tales for cubs to enjoy as she often used the ones she knew during story time while trying to get the little ones she shepherded during the day to quiet down for a nap. W-w-w-w-waaait! W-wait one minute! Y-y-y---your mom.. sh-she... she's a goddess?

"Uh," He paused somewhat surprised by her shock as he rarely met anyone but family. He wasn't use to the reaction he got from stating what he just said. He did understand that her role was important to the mortal realm but still... mom was mom you know. "Yes, she is and I have to be leaving soon to get back to her as I promised to help with her herbs." He shied away nervously not wanting to be pounced on verbally or physcially. He wasn't one to cause violence.
He tentively offered the directions to the water. " I saw you were interested earlier about the watering hole. I know the way if you want me to saw you before I head home. It's not far from this area we are currently in. You just," He used his paw to point to the right near a bundle of trees mangled together. "Head in that direction and follow the rainbow like rocks littered on the ground. If you don't see them then just follow the dirt path that was made by multiple animals tracks over the years. That will lead you too it. Oh! It also has a mini waterfall... its really relaxing in there."

Wow. The son of a goddess.That probably meant he was a seer like Skan Kanati, her pride's leader and the only other seer Caely had had the pleasure of meeting. Curiosity made her consider asking about such a rare talent, but an uncertainty as to whether it would have been polite, especially since he suddenly appeared rather uneasy by her awe, made her rethink the idea. I-I'm sorry.. I didn't mean to make you feel uncomfortable! It's just.. it's just that I've never met the offspring of a god or goddess before.. I.. I kinda always thought.. well... t-that that stuff was just fairy tales..
Gazing towards the distant trees Rinji pointed towards, she tried to commit the directions to memory so that she could bring Wai there later. It would have been nice to have been shown the way, being a visual learner, but Caely wasn't about to ask with how jumpy he appeared. Offering an apologetic smile, T-thank you Rinji. I think I'll be able to find it... I wouldn't want to keep you from your m-mother.
Heaven only knew what she could have expected if she got on a goddess' bad side for causing her son to be tardy. Even if her domain was herb lore, Caelyndei was reluctant to try the patience of an immortal. It was really nice to meet you. D-do take care of yourself.. it sounds like you might be catching a cold.
She was of course referring to the fact that Rinji kept sneezing! The whole reason they'd stumbled upon each other in the first place!

" Well, I don't feel different from others but then again... how would I know?" He shrugged his shoulder thoughtfully not offended. "No problem Caelyndei and it was nice to meet you too. Goodluck on finding the watering whole and it was nice chatting for a bit." He laughed at the cold comment. " Oh, I hope not but I think its just the change of atmosphere from the hotsprings. Its more muggy there and I am used to those kinda conditions."
He bowed, "May your traveling be safe. Bye and I hope to meet you again in the future~" He gave one last smile and with a wave of his tail he walked away back towards the hotsprings to help his mother.

M-maybe.. I would really like it if we did! Good bye Rinji! Beaming at the teen shyly Caely managed a ginger nod of departure to her new acquaintance before picking herself up onto all fours. A careful shake and once over later--to be sure that she was gathered--the painted lioness was watching her slate colored friend jogging off towards the horizon, back to where ever it was he had come from. She hoped he made it there safely as her own thoughts turned to Waikiki. Happily springing along as she turned back towards the inner terrain of the Ela lands and began to make her way home to her den.
What interesting day it had been! And even though her stroll had been interrupted it had certainly left her with an interesting story to tell her pride mates and the lion her heart bubbled for. Meeting the son of a goddess seemed truly unremarkable, but it had happened! Hopefully they believed her!
