Lezlye walked down the hall towards where Shedrawn said she was supposed to meet him to get the egg he was offering her. She was really excited, she had been so disappointed she had not been able to go out and find one on the beach like so many others had been able to. She heard all about it in the kitchens, after the fact. She bounced on the balls of her feet as she looked from side to side at an intersection, she had to remember which way to go. She smiled and turned to correct way and skipped down the hall again. The skipping stopped just outside the room. She stood straighter, and brushed her dress smooth before reaching out and knocking on the wall and called a soft,
"Hello? Shedrawn?"

Running just a little late, Tabathi made her way to where Shedrawn had told her to meet him and another. She'd never been to his place before and was a little slow in finding it. But she didn't give up and finally, after asking a couple people, found the right place. And, as she had expected, was the last one to arrive. No matter. She was here now, right? Grinning to the other two, Tabi entered and felt her grin widen. She was still tickled that Shedrawn had asked if she had wanted one. Gale wasn't very excited over this, but the green would get over it. Tabi had made sure to leave the flitter back home while she came here.
"I'm sorry ta be runnin' a little late." She spoke in a quiet voice, looking first towards Shedrawn and then the other girl. "Had ta ask someone and make sure I was comin' the right way."

"Come on in Lezlye, they have started to rock!" Shedrawn's eyes were filled with an inner light as he watched the eggs rock gently. He reached out very slowly and stroked the shell of the red blotched egg, then the bronze and purple egg. He had come to care for the eggs deeply in his time with them and couldn't wait to see what hatched.
Shedrawn looked up again at Tabathi's entrance. "Not to worry, you are in time." he reassured her. "It is rather hard to find hey?" he had took wrong turns too when he was tired.
Anyang and Isdrayon hummed louder and swayed.

(sorry life's sorta eaten me)
Lezlye came into the room quickly and moved to Shedrawn's side to gaze down at the eggs in wonder.
"Wow."
she said softly looking at the little eggs rocking a little, she turned so she could see who else was coming for the last egg and smiled a little and waved,
"Look they're rocking."
she said pointing to the eggs
"They are gonna hatch soon."
she was all but bouncing in place on the floor. She was so excited that she had been invited to get a flit egg. She was all but doing a dance she was in such a good mood. She wanted to reach out and stroke one of the eggs like Shedrawn had done. But she didn't know which one was for her, and well she didn't touch what wasn't hers

Her grin grew after hearing Lezlye say they were rocking. Apparently her timing was just right! Tabi gave Shedrawn a quick smile before moving to stand next to the two and peer at the eggs. Shells they really were rocking! Tabi stared in awe at them, the eggs quite lovely on the outside. "I don't think anyone ever gets past how amazing it is to see a hatching of any kind." She spoke softly, like she didn't want to disturb the rocking eggs from cracking.
"Just a little. But that's only 'cause I'm not as familiar with my way around here as I could be." Tabi responded back to Shedrawn's question. "How long have they been rocking?" She asked, eyes gentle as she glanced between the three eggs. How long had it taken Gale to hatch once her own egg had begun to hatch? It had been a while since Tabi had witnessed a flitter hatching and she couldn't remember. But she felt it had been fairly quick once the rocking started.

They havent bee rocking for very long. Does everyone have their meat bowls ready? Okay remember to stuff their faces but only just short of bursting." Shedrawn grinned at the assembled. " Good luck everyone, lets have no one go between today." Just has he said this the blotched red egg cracked and a green firelizard fell onto the sands. Her wings were drenched in egg goo and she flopped and creeled loudly. She knew who hers was and she peeped at Shedrawn immediately after she finished her creel. Shedrawn obligingly handed the flit a gob of meat. The gold egg had begun to vibrate and hairline cracks riddled the shell and yet it held for the moment.

Lezlye beemed at both older male and female a silly little grin on her face. The smile was erased when Shedrawn told them what to do, now she was in focused mode. She watched intently as the red blotchy one started to crack. She jumped a little when the little green fell from the egg and looked between the two adults, then back to the green in awe. She'd just seen a birth! She watched as Shedrawn fed the lizard a chunck of meat and nodded to herself a little. Okay so she knew how to feed one, Shedrawn hadn't had his finger bitten off or anything. Now she just had to wait.
The young girls gaze returned to the remaining eggs watching as the golden egg started to vibrate and cracks appeared, but it looked like the little one was having second thoughts about coming from its egg, for the shell held.
"Com'on"
she coaxed softly
"Com'on you can do it."

Tabathi smiled. Excellent! They had only just started rocking which meant she probably had timed this even better than she'd thought. Moving up closer to Shedrawn and Lezlye, her gaze fell to the red blotched egg as Shedrawn continued to speak. "Aye, I've got mine." Tabi murmured, transfixed with the eggs. Did one ever tire of actually seeing a hatching of any sort? She certainly never did! Be it flitter or wher. Dragons were something she'd never seen hatch before. And probably never would.
A small intake of breath was her first response when the blotched red egg cracked. A darling little green tumbled out and Tabi felt that mental 'dawwww' go through her mind. "Such a cutie." She said softly as Shedrawn fed the little green.
The gold-bronze-ish egg started to crack, hairline marks racing along the shell. But it didn't hatch yet. Next to her, Lezlye spoke encouragement to the flitter inside.

While the bronze egg was thinking the purple one had decided it was time to meet the world. A huge crack appeared down the middle and a sharp noise denoted the imminent hatching. The bronze egg must have heard this as its shell began heaving and splitting again. In the end the new blue and green hatched at the same time and hissed at each other loudly. The blue flapped wet wings and crooned at the people while ignoring the sister that had already impressed. The newly hatched green swept around and waved her tail at her brother before flouncing off a short ways. (Goodness me I am sorry this took so long!)
