Name: Kiera Malkhar
Age: 18

Appearance: 5'3"; 135lbs; Straight, ash-blonde, shoulder-length hair; green eyes; Wears peasant garb; cloth shirt and deer-leather pants. Carries a sturdy letterbag, in which she keeps various oddities and neccessaties alike.
Personality: Kiera is upbeat and caring. She isn't one to look for a fight, but will step in when she see's injustice or cruelty. She is often too trusting and eager to forgive those who've wronged her.
Back Story: Kiera was born in Madeen no less than five years after the commonwealth declared it's independence as a nation. Kiera's father was an able bodies woodsman, and acting foreman to much of the towns initial building. Her mother, was a loving house-wife with the freetime for dabbling in stage-show magic; spells with little effect other than what visual impact they made, but still channeling true magic for it's practice.

Kiera grew up as any child in Madeen had; responsiblity at home, grew into responsibility to school, and then finally responsibility for themselves. Kiera was no different, she had plenty of freetime for games and friends but she was taught how to tend to life at home, as well as a secret intrest in her father's trade. She grew up into a respectable citizen with a nuturing mind and a heart for adventure.

She learned of her odd abilities at a young age, meeting Asha for the first time when she was only six years old. The Eidolon frightened her and she knew it was so. Asha explained her place as a summoner, but suggested Kiera not call on her again until older, "until your will to fight has been born". Kiera heeded the advice and took it upon herself to be sure her skill stayed a secret. Kiera called on Ashe the second time at twelve. Only a few weeks from her birthday, most of the nation had been blanketed in a dense snowfall. Overzealous exploration by Kiera led her into the featureless wastes and swallowed her trail. She moved into the night, but the cold soon took her strength, and she stood at death's door wishing for a release, and finally an escape; Ashe was an angel of mercy that night, using a natural warmth both physical and emotional, to shelter her from the cold and guide her home.

{Appearance}: Asha appears in the form of a black-winged, auburn haired girl. Her eyes are covered by an old, worn, and sweat soaked cloth wrapped tightly over her eyes. She wears a simple, and modest gown that is equally aged as the cloth over her eye, and covered in several patches of scorched fabric. Though she appears young [about 14], she is incredibly wise and has served many summoners throughout her existance.

{Gambit}: She is calm and tactical but hides a sadistic efficiency to her gifts. Her posture acts as a warning system; a statuesque posture and attitude carries until threatened, when she will first remove her headband to reveal burning orbs for eyes. Simply a warning, her calm attitude persists until attacked, when she finally releases her power, erupting into flame, and purging what need purged. When shifting from Passive > Ready > Aggressive, Asha's movement speed increases. Though she can fly, she doesn't utilize the ability in combat.

Name: Sayuri Koizumi
Age: 15
Birthday: July 1st
Appearance: She has a thin, almost scrawny body frame. Definitely not an active person in physical activity. Dark chestnut brown hair that falls a couple inches above her shoulders frame a heart shaped face. She has very pale skin and soft amber eyes. You can mostly find her in her school uniform or if she's at home, in her work uniform.
Personality: Sayuri is the shy introverted type of person who tends to naturally evade socializing at school. She's a docile and gentle character who doesn't mind getting pushed into the background. Though, when she does get frustrated, it can cause her to make irrational choices and reasoning. She doesn't really have a high opinion of herself, which makes her very self-conscious and insecure about her appearance and actions.
Back Story: Born and raised in the bustling town of Esta Ro Sol. She was an only child in her family, seeing that her parents were too old to have another. Her family owned a small motel because of the high tourism population. She lead her life like any other child would. It was mediocre. But she was content with it. She went to school everyday, never getting top grades, but not necessarily a bad student either. When she wasn't at school, she was at the motel working with her parents. It turned out to be quite a successful business with the never-ending flow of tourists. So much so that they expanded their motel, and even started hiring employees since the family could no longer handle the workload on their own. There was one employee in particular that worked the front desk with her often. His name was Itsuki, a boy a couple years older than herself. At first their personalities clashed, they were practically like Yin and Yang. But over time, they grew..well fond of each other in their own way.

A couple years ago on a day like any other, Her father and Itsuki had run out for an errand while Sayuri stayed to keep watch of the motel. Both her father and Itsuki had been killed by a criminal making their escape. When she had heard the news, it had been devastating for her. She confined herself to her room, without sleep or food for days. It was then her grief had allowed her to gather enough power to summon an Esper, who came to her in the form of Itsuki and comforted the confused girl that night. She hasn't seen the Esper since and calls it a hallucination.

Appearing around Seventeen to Eighteen, Itsuki has unkempt light umber hair and copper toned eyes with softened features, making his face appear kind. He is tall, slim athletic build. Clothing can vary, but is usually very neat and tidy.

{Gambit}: Optimistic and almost always found with a smile on his face, Itsuki is very non-aggressive, usually found on the defensive side of the fight. He is very protective of his comrades around him, seeing as even his healing spell would cause pain to them. Even on the battlefield, he has a very calm manner, and always thinks before going about anything. He often tries to take advantage of the opponent by seeming more confident than he really is, making sarcastic and taunting remarks. It's almost a personality trait that bled into him from the real Itsuki, who was always very smug and confident.

Name: Lutje {Lu-zhae}, though he goes by Jute.
Age: 18
Birthday: April 22

Appearance: 6'; 160 lbs; Tanned skin; Short, auburn hair; pale, light blue eyes with brown-black specks; Wears Modified Ceric robes; He wears a white poncho over a darkred long-sleeved shirt trimmed with gold, white cleric pants also trimmed with gold, and light brown boots. A silver dagger is attached to his left hip, and a holy tome containing relics resides on his right. He carries a bag over his should carrying a few books he enjoys, and other oddities.

Personality: Lutje is a quiet, simple young man. He doesn't talk often, simply because the average person doesn't talk about what he's interested in. He is an advocate for his morals however, and despite being a Cleric, will fight to protect himself. He enjoys reading over any other form of entertainment.

Back Story: Lutje was raised in an Ecclestian Church as a child. Being a child of the clergy, he has no last name or parents. With no family outside of the church, he focused on his studies, excelling in the basics of Holy Magic at an early age. As he studied his magic, he soon began to branch out into other fields, covering banishing, blessing, and healing all simultaneously. By age eighteen, he was skilled enough to run the healing part of the church himself.

Instead, he left his hometown and became a traveling doctor, healing the sick and injured as he passed through towns. He currently resides in Esta Ro Sol, working on a unique case that has him taking a great deal of time.

{HomeTown}: Ecclesia, a small church town inside of Alexandria's border. The town is incredibly small. The church is the center of the town's activity. It is a oasis in regards to healing prowess in Alexandria.

{Skills}: Lutje, being a Cleric, utilizes Holy Magic both in and outside of combat. His utilization of divine power aids him in protecting, aiding, and healing his allies.
.{S.a: } Heal: Lutje can heal his targets wounds, or harm the undead and demons. The spells gravity changes depending on distance.
.{S.b: } Protect: Lutje creates a protective barrier around his target, or himself. It can sustain a certain damage for until falling.
.{S.c: } Dispell: A common cleric skill; capable of expelling most diseases and curses. It can also remove magic bonds, and also works to debuff the enemy.
.{S.d: } Holy Arrow: Lutje summons a bow of light and fires an arrow from it. A useful technique for fighting the undead, demons, or any other sort of dark power.
.{S.e: } Resurrection: If the conditions are right, Lutje can resurrect someone who has died. It is a time consuming process, and it requires extensive preparations.

Appearance:
Jagger is never seen without his double draw string leather pouch, equipped with various items, and the butchers' pouch strapped securely around his waist containing miscellaneous knives. A second belt is strapped around his waist, and it holds a longsword which was given to him by his foster father, who said, that it belonged to his true born father, and that the sword had been called, Soulbane.
Personality: Free-spirited, reckless, and adventurous, Jagger knows no bounds. But because of that, he is easily susceptible to manipulation, and gimmicks, because he isn't very well versed in affairs of logic, or intellect (and as such, he cannot read.) Regardless, he is as loyal as any could be, as honest, and as brave, but often times, his overzealous ambitions proves that he is better off alone. He doesn't care what he has to do to get what he wants, even if it means going against everyone to do so. He has no honor, and because of it, is not bound to any strict code of conduct, he lives for himself, and does what he wants, when ever he wants to, regardless of who says otherwise.
Back Story: Jagger's youth, is a story he prefers to keep closely hidden. He is the illegitimate son of King Mahrah, but he knows little about the man, save for that one simple detail. He never knew his mother either, save for her voice, because she fell very ill while he was still a baby. When she died, his father, the king, had instructed him to be left in the care of a trusted friend, an old butcher, where he began to learn the trade as an apprentice. Oddly enough, his foster father passed away when he turned sixteen, and for the next year, he spent it freely; taking up odd jobs, or exploring the large city to his hearts delight. No sooner then his first week of freedom, Jagger found himself in a dilemma. A wandering brigand of thieves had been hiding in the forestry, the very same forest he set forth to explore in hopes of hunting down a boar, but no sooner then he found himself lost, the thieves had found him. Out of no where, a wild stallion fell from the heavens and trampled the lot of thieves but no sooner then it had appeared, however, the stallion flew off without a word. Ever since, he told himself he had simply imagined the entire scenario.

{Gambit}: Virtually useless in battle, Anderath is best left for quick escapes, diversions, or swiftly reaching the wounded. He cannot speak because he is a beast, and often times, it can be a challenge to understand his plans in dire situations. He works well under stressful situations, can be a bit lazy, or haughty, as his respect is hard to be earned. But, there is one oddity to Anderath, the moment that his summoner, Jagger, finds the will for battle he will be summoned only once, to the boys side, and will stay beside his side faithfully until the quest ends and there after, can be summoned upon will.

Name: Lysos Saiak
Age: 19
Birthday: January 15
Appearance: Lysos usually wears the long cloaks commonplace at court. In battle he prefers leather armor for its light weight. He generally carries two shortswords with him no matter the occasion.
Personality: One would think that someone like Lysos would be obnoxious and stuck up, but in this case, that's not even remotely true. Lysos has come to accept that he hasn't exactly been an upstanding citizen after his father died, and won't pretend otherwise. Being the second youngest head of a noble household, Lysos tends to act more vindictive than he actually is when council is in session. Though he might not show it, Lysos feels out of place in court, and, as such, is unusually friendly to the sons of the nobility and commoners. He tends to be derisive and sassy, which works in some places but clearly hasn't earned Abigale's favor.

Back Story: Lysos was born as the first and only son of Saiak Bey, a respected Urban noble in Alexandria. Saiak Bey was the most recent head of a household on the steep rise. His grandfather, exiled from Esta Ro Sol for setting up investor fraud came to Alexandria as an upper middle class Merchant and earned a fortune through more dark business models. It was Saiak Bey's father who was raised to peerage and accepted into the nobility. Saiak Bey was a strict father, training his son at an early age to write and speak fluently, work with the new form of mathematics called 'Al Jabr', and, of course, fight unfairly. The man had a plan to make the family greater after his death, a death which came too soon.

When Lysos was 15, his father passed away. Having been convinced he had to be more brilliant than any of his ancestors, Lysos refused the many offers to be accepted into different noble households. Unlike any of his predecessors, Lysos had a well kept secret on his side; his avatar Dassan, who he had passed by his father as a 'good friend'. Dassan noticed Lysos at a young age, but didn't make a pact until Saiak Bey was growing less reasonable. The avatar not only felt comfortable talking with Lysos, but jumped at the chance to form a lucrative partnership and live the life of the mortal nobility, something he was always curious about. His father's death left Lysos, now the new Saiak Bey with plenty of financial problems, partly solved by his own abilities as an administrator (and thief), and partly by Dassan's. When Lysos needed slaves, Dassan 'reconfigured' cutpurses, where Lysos needed to discover secrets, Dassan traced. In exchange, Lysos would allow the Avatar all the luxuries desired and full access to the court as his shieldbearer.

They never really formed a trusting bond until Princess Abigale found Lysos to be utterly annoying, mainly because she knew exactly who Dassan was, and had a rough idea of how Lysos managed to avoid financial ruin. It got to the point where Abigale convinced King Marah to send Lysos to investigate crime in the town of Gassar. In the package was the transfer of Gassar Palace to Lysos's accounts. It seemed like an honor, but on the downside, Lysos would be unable to return to court for a year. Neither Abigale nor Lysos knew just how bad the situation had become. Lysos and Dassan nearly died on a number of occasions. They never had a dramatic and deep conversation, but they knew by that point that they worked well together. When Lysos returned to court, he was convinced Abigale was trying to kill him. He would have started to enjoy Aulute's efforts to rid court of that witch if the regent was less of a d**k.

Name: Daphne “Nightshade” Irluna
Age: 25
Birthday: Unknown
Appearance: Daphne is 5’9, and weighs 139 lb. Her hair is a silver-white color, and has the appearance of being as short as a boy’s, until one noticed the thick white braid that neatly coils down her back, out of the way, and usually covered by a wide belt strapped on her back. She has a tattoo that covers her entire right arm. She is most commonly seen wearing thigh-high boots, belts encircling them, strapped with pistols, throwing knives and poison needles, as well as a leather top and bottom. The belt that is strapped on her back carries an assortment of objects, including a katana, and a quiver filled with poison-tipped arrows. She wears a long black cloak to cover it all.
Personality: Daphne is cold, heartless, and doesn’t care about anything or anyone. Her main focus in life is money. She will do anything, kill anything, if it meant she got paid. She is considered one of the best assassins in the country, and her fame precedes her. She is haughty and rude, and isn’t one to “talk things out.” She doesn’t think twice about murder, either. She doesn’t know the person, so she doesn’t care.
Back Story: Daphne was born in Serrucia to a family well-off. They weren’t nobles, but they weren’t poor. However, she was born as a freak of nature, an albino. Her hair was pure white, her skin paler than normal. Her parents were disgusted by it, but tried their best to ignore it. Finally, they couldn’t stand the ridicule they received because of her, and sent her away to live in the mountainous forest bordering Serrucia. She was 14.

For three years Daphne fended on her own, trying to survive in the wild, until she was picked up by a man passing by. This man taught her to fight, to kill, all the while nurturing her growing hatred for those who put her in this position. To her, it wasn’t only her parents, but the whole world. It was whatever supernatural phenomena caused humans to exist at all. She would have her revenge. Soon her emotions faded behind a mask of coldness. When Daphne was 17, confident that she had learned all she could from the man, she killed him. She went on to sharpen her skills, becoming a killing machine that all would fear.

As the years went by, she became known as “Nightshade,” a deadly assassin who never lost a single target. Rumors spread that she was a ghost, with pale skin, white hair, and red eyes. No one actually knew what Nightshade looked like, because those who did generally were the ones who died by her hand. The ones who hired her rarely ever saw her face, adding more to the mystery of who Nightshade was.

Name: Farran P. Vahan
Age: 17
Birthday: January 6th
Appearance: Farran is a slender, athletically built young man. He has white hair, paling pink eyes, and a fair-white complexion. He inherited the pale skin and eye color fade from his mother, and the brown eyes from his father. The two parents' genes didn't mix well and soon, his eyes will be a pale pinkish-red along with his already fair white skin.

Personality: Farran is a quiet, kind young man with a passionate heart. He would fight for anyone, or any cause, that he truly cares about. His strong personality has been a key factor that has kept him from being labeled as a total Albino.

Back Story: An strange looking young man raised in the working class of Alexandria. His parents run a very popular inn near the walls of the city. His father was originally a lowly thief off the streets of Alexandria and he taught his son in the ways of thievery, along with the use of the dagger. His mother was an alchemist, or a "witch", and she taught him some of her crafting skills.

His mother was a kind woman, who did not want to partake in the horrid habits of her brethren, so she left the lands of the witches and travelled to the outskirts of what the kingdom. Years away from her sisters changed her into a beautiful pale skinned human, a stark contrast to the sickly skin of her sisters, and she ventured to Alexandria where she met Farran's father. The two fell in love, and opened an inn.

The boy was raised like any other child of Alexandria. Although his peculiar skin color raised a few eyebrows, his tendency to stay outside dismissed the thought of Albino-ism in some and raised even more questions in others. However, being in the working class, the family hardly had to deal with the problem at all.

.{S.f: } Battle Link: One of the many abilities created by the combination of the cunning of his father and the abilities of his mother. Farran is able to emotionally and spiritually connect with an ally. Allowing for superior battle strategies and joint fighting. Usually manifests itself through one attacking the front, while the other attacks the rear. If one is looking for it and spiritually inclined, one can see the spiritual line between the two. It is more or less a last resort, as it creates an emotional link between the two.

{Appearance}: At a first glance, one might mistake Tau as a desert dwelling savage; almost naked, save for the fur briefs, knee high sandals of straps and leather, and a lion skin that he wears at all times. The hood of a large beast, draping from his head to the backs of his knees, may appear to be a trophy of a past hunt, yet the fur shines with a divine aura like no other lion indigenous to the desert. The form he takes, in the eyes of mortals, is that of a man; heavily muscled, olive skinned, and standing at a proud height of seven feet. By human standards, Tau is attractive with his high cheekbones, wide set jaw, fiercely leonine eyes of amber, and flaxen mane of wavy hair--hidden beneath the hood of his lion skin. Upon his hands, his fingernails are elongated and hard like diamonds, easily giving him away as a beast avatar to any observant summoner. Tau's true form, however, is in fact the skin of the lion he wears upon his back. When Tau transforms, the fur envelops his large frame and he becomes a lion with a large golden mane and shining sandy brown fur riddled with shimmering flecks of gold. Very few have seen the vast desert lion, yet there have been whisperings of it for the past two hundred years.

{Gambit}: In battle, Tau can summon two blades; the sword of daybreak and the sword of nightfall. The swords are vast and curved blades, as long and wide as a large human's arm, one white and the other black. He has an enchantation to summon and dispel each blades. Tau is also capable of joining the swords at the pommel, creating a longer dual bladed weapon. Aside from his speed, power, three deathblows (listed below), and prowess with his summoned blades, Tau is also capable of shifting into his true form during battle.

.{S.a: } Translating to 'Exile Night', Nocte Exilium is set into motion when Tau utters the enchantation and invokes an inky veil of binding darkness with his black sword. When Tau's prey is caught in the web of darkness, the power of daybreak is channeled into his white sword as he dashes through the black veil as its sole beacon and harbinger of death--delivering the final slash and banishing the darkness.
.{S.b: } Warfare, Dawn and Dusk; the translation of this deadly enchantation. When Tau utters the words, and combines his weapon, the battlefield becomes engulfed in an illusion of the blackest, most beautiful, night where the moon hangs in the night sky with a heavy hue of scarlet. He leaps high into the sky, appearing to disappear into the red moon, coming down swiftly to drive the ebony blade into his prey. As he descends, dawn banishes the wicked night and Tau subsequently delivers a powerful burning slash after dropping down and delivering the first slash. As a result, the move finishes with an explosion of great force and blinding light as Tau juggles his prey in the air with the glowing end of each blade. In human form, this is Tau's most powerful deathblow.
.{S.c: } Devolvat in Leo Furor means to unleash the fury of a lion. When Tau shifts into his true form, he is able to purge the energy he has built up from wielding his blades during the battle. As a result, he is capable of firing a devastating double helix of black and white from his large maw. The beam itself is testament to the union of light and chaos, as well as how one cannot exist without the other.
