Tis the golden age of pirates, during a time when a man could sail the seven seas freely, the Queen's Navy could not yet contain the full force of those whose hearts belonged to the ocean. They roamed the seas, seeking treasure and plundering ports and other ships, together they formed the Brethren of the Coast, an allegiance of pirates that swore to remain allied during times of hardships. Two pirate crews never crossed swords unless it was over who gets the bounty of the treasure that they had uncovered.
Every pirate's dream is to uncover the fabled Atlantian treasure; the Pieces of Eight. Rumors have it that an infamous captain has a acquired a map over the Uncharted Territories, that would lead him and his crew to the Pieces of Eight. Rumors also have it that said captain has recently lost his crew, and is now recruiting a new one throughout the various coastal towns across the seven seas.
Will you join this rundown captain on a search for the treasure of a lifetime? Or are ye a bloody landlubber and a coward?ProfilesOOC

 In this tale, you are all scurvy pirates, and will be joining a pirate crew in the beginning of your story. The name of your vessel is the infamous and feared Emerald Siren, the terror of most coastal towns in the area. Feared even more is her ruthless captain, Cap'n Dead Eye Tucker, a cruel man who is said to have killed the entire previous crew in order to become captain himself. This ship and her crew have been said to leave none alive after a plunder. One is left to wonder where the stories come from. Or if the rumors surrounding this fearsome ship and her cold-blooded crew hold any substance to them at all.
As many of you know, a ship is always referred to as 'she' and never 'it'.
The positions of the ship will vary, with your character helping out with various things. Sometimes, the crow's nest, sometimes the kitchen, sometimes swabbing the deck and so on. You can yourself be in charge of what your character is doing at the moment on the boat.
The position of Captain is already filled, as well as the cook of the ship.
The position of First Mate will be decided during the course of the roleplay and will be handed to a roleplayer that sticks out and does exceptionally well.
LOCATIONS
The roleplay is set in a Carribean-like setting, during the early 18th century.
Port Dayglow
A port controlled by the Queen's Fleet. Pirates usually stray away from this place out of fear of being caught. The numerous, influential, wealthy people make this a very desired spot for pirates to rob one day, for now, it serves as a constant stream of information. If one can manage to get in unseen to acquire it.
Isla de Madre
A large island community and a popular trading spot, home to some of the most notorious con-men known throughout history. Once a pirate has acquired his booty and precious shinies, he will usually come to Isla de Madre to trade is shinies for supplies and weapons. Isla de Madre is famous for its boat-buildiers, if your ship is in need of repairs or you're scouting for a new one, Isla de Madre can supply you with all your needs in boats. Isla de Madre is a part of the agreement of the Brethren of the Coast, you may not under any circumstances plunder this port, lest you are prepared for every pirate in the sea declaring open season on your head.
Toluca
The port of sin. A harbour that will forever remain free from the Queen's influences, mostly because no one wishes to touch Toluca, even with a ten-foot pole. Toluca harbours the most drunks, pleasure girls and corrupted traders in the known sea. It is said that no place on earth can make a pirate feel more at home. Feel free to come here and engage in your darkest desires.
Uncharted Territories
Just off the map, where the known sea stops, is where you'll find the Uncharted Territories. It is said to be home to some of the largest treasures ever to be lost, and it is every pirate's dream to sail the Uncharted Territories to find them. The only problem is in the name, they are uncharted. Inside await perils unfathomable, and you would need a map to navigate the maze of dangers if you don't want to end up shipwrecked at the mercy of sea creatures.
Rumors have it that Cap'n Dead Eye Tucker has somehow managed to get one of the few maps over the Uncharted Territories.
Dead Man's Chest
So aptly named for the maze of sharp rocks that line the outside of the Uncharted Territories. It has claimed many ships, and the restless spirits now haunt the area. It has been said that just the sight of the ships will drive a man insane.
Siren's Bay
A wive's tale and popular ghost story to tell on a ship. It is said that somewhere in the Uncharted Territories, there is a bay that is home to the Sirens. Beautiful women with the upper body of a woman, and the lower body of a fish. Their voices can set any man in a trance, lure him out in to the water where they devour the poor fool.
Atlantis
Once a powerful city of legends, it is said that the people of Atlantis grew too knowledgable and too powerful. Enough so that their gods of old struck down the prosperous city to the bottom of the ocean and banned it's inhabitants from ever visiting the surface again. The memory of Atlantis remains in the numerous treasures scattered around the seas. Atlantian treasure is among the most valuable of items and catch a hefty sum on the markets.

 If you would like to play something other than a pirate, you are welcome to fill this skeleton out with information for something else, such as part of the Queen's Fleet or a regular fisherman etc. Please title your PM "No scurvy landlubber."Please note, you are not allowed to play a character with any kind of supernatural powers... yet. The equipment you use should be according to the time period and locations. Think Pirates of the Caribbean. This means things like rapiers, knives, muskets, cannons and single-shot pistols. Your character is allowed to have, say, a foreign dagger from the east, but you will need to give a logical reason as for why your character owns this weapon. I would prefer if you refrained from things like katanas and other japanese weapons, pirates did not commonly use this, as they were the weapon of the honorable samurai, not a dishonest, robbing pirate. Please stay away from magical swords and stick with the classical cutlass instead. [color=POSTINGCOLOUR]

"AN' BRIN' ME ANOTHER DRAINK, YER LAZY BROAD!"
CRASH
The empty bottle of rum was just barely avoided by the startled barmaid who scurried out of the room as fast as she could, terror written all over her face and wanting to get as far away from the drunken duo as she could.
Edward settled down, swearing loudly about the sudden lack of drinks. The fellow next to the angry, drunk porcupine was awakened from his sleepy drunken stupor by the loud crash. The fellow, a tall wolf, that, judging by his hat might be the captain of a ship. Either that, or he was just wearing the hat for reasons unknown. The wolf swore loudly, trying to make his friend settle down, but the redheaded porcupine would have none of it, and kept swearing in a slur that may or may not have been english.
"Damn it Seth, we've been sittin' 'ere for 'ours. Naw one's gonna sign up for yisser damn cru, so jist gie up. Naw wan wants treasure anyway. Why are we in Toluca lookin' for a cru anyway? We shud be 'ere jist drinkin'. Or gettin' somethin' 'eadin' wi' a gran' lady. Or loosin' de last av our nicker on cards. Dis is a waste av time," he mumbled, leaning his head against the table, unaware that he was rambling. He prodded the small piece of paper they had to sign up names on, a list that was empty so far.
They were, together, the only two remaining crew members of the infamous ship, the Emerald Siren, and they were together, trying to recruit a new crew to find more treasure. Their latest excavation were taking them to the Uncharted Territories, and it required more than a captain and a cook to sail the ship. All of the town of Toluca knew they were there, after all, this was the feared Cap'n Dead Eye Tucker that had come ashore, looking for a new crew.
"Oi want more ter draink," Edward complained, whining as he spoke.

A door swung open at the far end of the bar, making a bit of a bump on the wall. A grey hedgehog with pirate clothing walked into the place and right to porcupine and sighed as he knew that the guy was drunk already. "Sorry captain all those you recommended did not want to join up, saying that your ship is a death sentence. And no one at the docks wanted to join in either, saying the same thing." The hedgehog sighed as he took a seat across from his captain.

Aile walked into the bar and heard what the grey hedgehog said."Well how about me then since I have nothing else to do around here anyway.So if your looking for people to join ya then I will.Names Aile the hedgehog." Aile said as she smirked.
Vashira followed Aile to the bar.Since she was not going to let her go off and have fun.While she is left here bored as hell."Looks like she is going to join a crew.So will I." Vashira muttered.
A dragon walked in the bar with one thing on her mind to join a crew."Lets see I'm sure that there is someone looking for people to join a crew." Kasumi said as she walked around looking for who ever looking for to join there crew.

Ol' Dead Eye was sitting across from the Irish, tapping his finger impatiently against the table while listening to the porcupine ramble on about the lack of crew members. It was either the alcohol getting to to his head, or the situation itself that was getting the captain highly irritated. Most likely the alcohol though. He snarled, and smacked one of the empty bottles off the table onto the ground, causing it to fall with an echo-like thump rather than a shatter.
Soon enough, a familiar gray hedgehog greeted him and the cook, and sat across the cap't at their table in the bar. He deperately wanted to find more crew members to start this journey on the Emerald Siren, and was desperate to find the treasures, but had no idea where to begin.
Without a second thought, three random Mobians made their way into the bar, and announced their wanting to join the crew. Seth, being already drunk from the few bottles he had, just sat there with a grimace expression on his face. "Welcom' ABOARD you shiverin' sea shrimp!" He scowled, and slammed a fist to the table. It was loud enough to get everyone's attention in the bar.

"Not so loud damn yer, Oi canny 'ear meself tink!" Edward growled, pointing threateningly at Seth with the hook that had replaced his hand. He glanced at the newcomers. Psh. They wouldn't last a day on the Siren. They looked too jumpy to sail the Uncharted Territories. But since Seth seemed to want them on the crew, he supposed that he wanted it as well.
Lighting up his pipe, he turned his attention to the deck boy, so aptly named Weirdo with a disheveled expression. He breathed out a cloud of foul-smelling white smoke. "Fella, git me more rum," he mumbled at the grey hedgehog. "Shouldn't yer be on de ship, peelin' spuds or somethin'? Why ye 'ere while oi'm drank?" He stood up suddenly and grabbed a hold of Seth's collar. "By Bejasus, Ah've got it, cap'n! We nade more rum! More rum means more pirates, an' more pirates means more cru members!"
It went without saying that Edward was drunk. Very drunk. And when he was drunk, he had a hard time stringing two cohesive thoughts together.

"Why you'd think wer in 'ere in the first PLACE?" The captain snarled, as the overly drunk porcupine held onto his jacket collar. He wasn't very fond of others touching him, let alone the scarred up cook of the Siren. "What bett'r place would ya get a CREW then if there wasn't no rum around?!" He shook Edward off and brushed his jacket down sloppily, the charm around his neck dangling back and fourth from the sudden movement. " ...Prickled pelican that's wha you are." He drunkishly mumbled and his tail swayed back and fourth impatiently while eyeing the new recruits standing before him.

"Damn it.How about you just shut up Aile.There was no way in hell I was going to let you go off and have all the fun.Since it would get boring around here even more without you to bug." Vashira said as she smirked.
"Geez.Well I'm Kasumi.I'll try to do the best that I can." Kasumi said as she rolled her eyes.

Edward muttered something. He thought his plan was smart. So smart. He might even commit mutiny in order to make his plan work. With or without the captain. It was just that smart. He turned to the newcomers with an unfocused, drunk gaze. "Don't yer tink me plan is smart? De captain is dense ter not tink 'tis smart. Cos 'tis smart. Don't yer agree dat we nade more rum?" he slurred, pointing his hook hand at the new members of the crew with a gleeful smile. "Me name's Edward by de way. Ye'd better becum me best lads cos oi'm gonna be cookin' yisser grub for de comin' journey. Understand?"
"Nigh, yer ladies 'ill 'av ter brin' me more rum if we're gonna start aff on de roi foot," he stated in a very matter-of-factly way.
