If you feel like you need to be answering a question on here, this is one: If you could cosplay as anyone, who would you be?

For the NDK this year, I'm going to be Sakura from Tsubasa..if I can come up with the costume. I really want to make her little princess outfit she wears in the first manga, I think it's really cute. But if I don't go as her, I'm going to finish my CCS movie 2 outfit for Sakura -^-^- as well as Tifa but thats nothing to do with Tsubasa.

There's a Sakura con? I knew it was a popular name, but I had no idea it was that popular. And yeah, I was thinking of going as Tsubasa Sakura this year too. Origional huh... sweatdrop
Hm... with a staff that complicated it might be hard... With the staff part I agree with Kasikio that you need a nice long pole and foam. Although I've seen people do some amazing things with paper mache, and for the matalic look, you could use metalic spray paint. The main trick is to just think creative. Good luck! I cosplayed as Sora from Kingdom Hearts once. (Keyblade and all.) It was really fun. I have the keyblade mounted on my wall now. It looks just like Sora's! Maybe i'll post a picture of it...

Sakura Con is an anime convention in Washington State (If you know this, then, okay.. I'm just giving you a headups). It's so much fun, I've attended it myself twice already. This year will be my thrid. heart

Mmmhmm. Syaoran from Tsubasa would be easy to make, I have a pair of pants that I brought some two years ago from Target that would easily fit the bill. The shirt you could possibly do the same thing with. His staff would be another story though, it'd be easy to make the rod part of it with an old broom handle, that is sanded down and painted to look the part. Pieces of lightweight wood could be jigsawed out into the design on the end of his staff, then slid into the right place later on.

Sakura from Tsubasa... Mmmm. Gotta ponder on that a little. Her top would be easily done, if you have a pattern of an Aladdin Princess Jasmine top, then it can be played with until you get what you want. Heck, you lot are all gives me ideas for Adelaide's Con this year! I'm going to have to look back at ref pics later on and get back to you on it though... I'm a little brain dead!

Last years Animania in Sydney, Australia, I went as Li Syaoran from CCS. And.. The costume came out pretty gosh darnit nifty. If you want, I can take some pictures and post them on this board.

Googling most of Sakura's outfits would be the best way to go though, if you are after her CCS designs. I've seen plenty out there. ^^ Good luck!
