This place... Yes, something was going to happen here. Something rather fun. Watching the high and mighty 'upper class' coming and going was usually not Thief's idea of fun, but the guests of honor would be here soon enough...
Chisato was dressed to the nines. Her midnight blue gown hugged all the right curves, and had embellishments to lead the eye to those perfect curvy spots. She had waited for Nathan to pick her up, or for the car Nathan had sent. Of course when it arrived, she delayed, even though she was ready. No reason to seem eager. To be fashionably late, was it? She toyed with a lock of wavy blue hair before letting it fall back to her shoulders. That should be long enough. She sauntered out the front door to the waiting car.

This is what Nathan enjoyed most. Not the car ride of course. It was the creation of the perfect evening. From putting together the stunning black suit with the high polish shoes and the silver tie that matched his eyes perfectly. Down to the well cleaned limo interior with it's small stocked minifridge (With non-alcoholic versions of popular high class drinks). Nathan felt more in control during this time. he set up the dinner reservations. He determined the time the car would pull up to the girls home. He determined what he would wear and how he would greet her. HE controlled her evening and it was well within his power to make it as wonderful a night as any other.
When the limo pulled up to the address Chisato had given him, Nathan stepped out and stood attentively at the door. He knew the girl was well aware he was present, so he decided to stand vigilant at the Limo's door. His purple hair had been slicked back into a old style of a visiting beau, a single earring winked in his right ear, and in his left hand he held a single blue rose backed by a white peacock feather wrapped in a sheet of faint pink translucent paper. The diamond necklace that he had purchased for her was carefully tucked into the center of the rose so it glimmered as perfectly as one placed upon a pillow, the chain of which wrapped around the dethorned stem decoratively.
Clearly Chisato had intended to make him wait. When she emerged she looked perfectly put together. Stunning really, certainly not a sign of a girl who was running late. Still, he smiled and pulled the door open of the limo. "My goodness." He murmured at her approach. 'You look positively radiant tonight Chisato." Nathan offered the single rose bouquet to her when she was within arm's reach of him.

When Nathan handed her the flower, she gave a politely shy smile, lowering her eyes. "Thank you, Nathan." She hooded her eyes slightly, but smiled with practiced humility. With the car door open, she eased herself inside, mindful of all the folds of her gown, the heels of her shoes, every strand of hair. When he joined her she smiled. "You look quite dashing tonight." She said, toying with the dainty rose in her hands. "Would it be too bold of me to say I am looking forward to our evening?"
Geeze, where were they? Thief was a busy woman, and these mere children had the audacity to make her wait for them. Oh, she had so much else she should be doing! She was almost pouting, though not that the valet seemed to mind her waiting around for anyone. He'd been oogling her goods for some time now.

Nathan slid into the seat beside Chisato. Were she any other, he probably would have sat across from her, but they were quiet the equals. he felt comfortable enough to sit beside her during their drive. "Do you? I hope the evening does not fail to live up to your hopeful expectations then." Nathan spoke with practiced candidness. He glanced out the window as they sped along, his sense of confidence merely growing as they approached the large upscale restaurant. He could already see the brilliant white lights glinting off the golden accents of the decorations.
Nathan had purposefully chosen to make their reservations at the busiest time of night. Why? To better show off as they strode past the line of waiting individuals. He had paid well to ensure they would be escorted to a nice private table. He had every intention of ensure that he treated Chisato to the evening she deserved. As the limo drew up to the front of the restaurant and the valet stepped forwards to open the door, Nathan glanced over his shoulder to see if Chisato had bothered to place the necklace on that he had purchased her yet.

She smiled as Nathan sat beside her. "If you don't live up to my expectations, you'll just. have to make it up to me. Or else you will never live it down, I promise you that." She said it almost as a threat. But as they arrived, she was sure she would not be disappointed. During the ride, she had freed the diamond from the rose, but she passed it to Nathan as the door opened. "Perhaps you should place it on my neck when I'm seated." If he was bringing her here, he was showing off. If he was showing off, he should do it all the way.
Oh! There they were. The over stuffed peacock and his clucking hen had arrived. How dare they keep her waiting though. Thief watched as Nathan escorted Chisato from the limo and headed inside. Thief acted quite the part as though she perfectly belonged there, following them, even after they were being escorted to their table.

Oh what a challenge. Nathan's lips curled upwards in amusement at the gently spoken threat. He knew this date would be excellent, so there would be nothing for him to worry about 'not living down' come tomorrow. Nathan saw her hand reach out, and holding his gloved hand towards it, he blinked a little at the sight of the necklace placed within it. Looking at it in minor confusion, Chisato soon cleared up the reason behind her action. Ah...well then... "I think that would be a very lovely idea." He agreed as he followed her out of the limo.
Nathan's mind was more set on his next steps at this point. He offered his elbow to Chisato, to properly escort her inside. He was unaware of the skulking Thief following the pair of them inside. He could see the Hostess at the entrance podium before they even entered the restaurant. Smiling he paused only long enough to lightly murmur his name to her for their seating.

Chisato loved startled and frantic way the hostess and waiters acted to show them to their table. Oh, Nathan had them jumping to make this perfect? Well, this was going to be an entertaining evening. She shooed the waiter away when he tried to seat her, and instead turned her eyes to Nathan. He was her date, she expected him to treat her like a princess tonight.
It was almost a shame that no one had even tried to stop her. She sort of wanted to cause a scene to ruin this oh so perfect evening. Well, there was still time. When the little hen was seated, Thief simply made her way to the other chair and sat herself down, much to the confounded expression of the waiter.

Damn straight they needed to jump. Nathan had visited the day before and insisted on personally meeting every individual that was going to be present when he arrived with his date. he had paid each a nice little incentive to ensure they were treated well, and first. Of course, the promise of a big tip had not hurt their enthusiasm either. Nathan was filled with a great degree of pride as he walked Chisato to their table. He had made such a fuss the night before it would not have surprised him to know that so many others were going un-noticed right now. The woman following them in particular.
Nathan stepped around to pull out Chisato's chair after she shooed the eager waiter away. Smiling, he pushed her in, and was in the process of flashing the diamond necklace for the gathered party to see before placing it around Chisato's neck. It was then that Thief sat herself, and Nathan's brows knit. Who was that...gaudy female sitting in his chair? His silver gaze snapped to the waiter, who looked as horrified as could be. "Excuse me. This is a Private seating." Nathan rather coldly clipped at the intruding female.

"Exactly." Came the reply from this strange woman. "So rather than gawking leave the menus, get us some drinks and be off with you." She was addressing the staff who all seemed a little... surprise, to say the least. They glanced at each other nervously. "You're not being paid to stand there, so shoo. Be gone. You're dismissed." She waved her fingers in a 'go away' motion at those who were standing there, staring at the scene.
"Nathan." Chisato's tone was implying that living down this date would not be easy as the staff jumped and left at Thief's words. They were being paid good money, and even though they didn't know what was going on, they did as told.
"There now, that's better. A privet meeting just for us. Don't just stand there boy, pull up a chair."

Nathan watched as his carefully orchestrated evening was brushed away with a flick of this intruders hand. Nathan had enough control of himself to keep his blood from rising to his face. The last thing he wanted was to look splotchy and flustered, it would take away from the image of a calm and composed young man that he wished to be seen as. Of course, hearing that note in Chisato's voice hardly helped in the least. Nathan's glaring eyes fell on the woman whom was clearly attempting to ruin his evening.
Was she honestly telling him to sit!? "This is my table, that is my chair. Now, unless you fancy a embarrassing ejection from the premises, I would highly recommend you remove yourself this instant." If there was anything Nathan had learned from watching his mother speak to others, it was certainly how to talk down to them...such was his confidence in the coldness of his tone and glare of course.

"Ah, so desperate to cling to control aren't you? It's so unbecoming of you, boy. The more you fight for control right now, the more embarrassing you losing is going to be. So sit down and listen and your little evening here will be better than you imagined." She hardly waited for Nathan to fetch himself a chair before continuing. "You two are so suited for each other it sort of makes me sick." She was completely blunt. "You both want control and power. And you, boy are trying to create the illusion of control so badly, it's amusing in that sad, kicked puppy sort of way."
"Just who do you think you are?" Chisato's tone was indignant.
"Oh stop clucking you little hen."

She didn't even bat an eye. Nathan did not feel any sort of confusion at the lack of response. he merely felt that he needed to change tactics a bit. Such a tone and glare never would have worked on someone like Chisato after all. So that clearly meant this woman was used to dealing with people like him, a equal in the power of presence and control.
It was infuriating.
Nathan stubbornly crossed his arms over his chest as he remained standing behind and a little to one side of Chisato. Like hell would he sit like a herded little child cornered and defeated. "I would rather stand." He snapped in a clipped tone. He was not going to accept this woman talking down to him, ordering him, and usurping his cleverly designed evening. At least she was not embarrassing only him though. Calling Chisato a little hen shared some of the insult of this evening, so at least it would not be his alone to bare. Rather then a 'Nathan Failed' evening it could be a shared evening of outrage over the annoying woman interfering.

"Where did the waiter go? I will not sit here and be insulted like this."
"Cluck cluck cluck. That's what you sound like when you talk, so I suggest you shut up and just listen. You see I'm in a rather unfortunate spot at the moment, and have little choice but to ask you for assistance. Not without reward of course. See, I've lost a rather precious object recently, and I rather need it back. In return for your assistance..." She slowly opened a hand, showing a decorative key, and an elegant, though simple bracelet. "...I offer you power and control your little minds can't comprehend."

Nathan was silent, only so that he could grant enough time to pass for Chisato to become properly enraged by the woman. If he ended this all too soon then the failure of the evening woulds till rest heavily on his shoulders. Though, between them both he preferred being insulted by terms of kicked puppy then Hen. That had to ruffle Chisato's feathers, ironically enough.
"I do not see what concern your troubles are to us. We have a very full evening ahead of us." Nathan replied to the woman's clearly horrible sales pitch. As if she could possibly offer either of them anything they could not obtain on their own. He glanced out of the corner of his eye at Chisato, the beginning of a mocking smile started to curl his lips as he prepared to brush the woman off.
At least until she revealed the two objects to them. Now, the bracelet had no appeal to him at all. As far as Nathan's jewelry sense went, the single earring in his ear was it. he did not even wear rings or a wrist watch. The key seemed rather odd though. Old fashioned but clearly expensive. He momentarily forgot about keeping up his presence as he leaned forwards a bit to eye the key. "Curious...is that some sort of antique then?"

"It's special, if that's what you mean." antique was a hard thing to define. These kids were, well, kids. So old to them was probably over 20. Antique could be 30? "Seems I have your attention now." She picked the key out of her hand and held it up, then held he bracelet in her other hand, dangling them for the kids.
Chisato's eyes fixed on the bracelet a moment. It wasn't expensive looking, and wasn't from a jeweler she recognized. She tried to seem uninterested though. "How can these trinkets do anything for us?" But she was staring at the items.
Kids were so transparent. Even when they tried to seem mature and grown up, they were just kids. "You can each have one of these. And in return, you just have to find something for me. It really is a good deal for you. Just find one tinsy little thing for me, and you can get your wildest dreams fulfilled." Or something at least...
