I was in a game, actually about on par with a zerg macro, and I did a big scary push with a large stalker archon force at a zerg. I was afraid of getting immortals because of NP and +armored with FG. When I attacked with the stalker archon, I was pretty much wiped because of the fungal. I couldn't blink micro, and the damage was massive to my stalkers. Should I have just bit the bullet and mixed in immortals with the stalker/archon mix? I couldn't just drop my stalkers for mass immortal, since he had some mutas earlier, and the last thing I needed was mutas to destroy my immortal force.

I was thinkin HT with storm, but I'm not too sure about that either, since HT are slow, I have to wait for energy to even storm, and even then, they can just NP them anyways. Same with colossus, NP. I'm just really afraid of the NP when I fight zerg, but it seems I have to choose some high cost unit to counter this roach infestor play. Any zerg players that can chime in on what has stomped them? Or at least give them a run for their money with roach infestor play?

fungal affects invisible units too.

HT is your answer, but the answer is not necessarily Psistorm. granted, if you can gather energy for that then great, go ahead. right out of the warpgate, though, they start with enough energy to Feedback, and that's probably your best bet at a lategame solution. the best way to kill a Zerg of course, is earlygame.

fake him out with the stalkers so you can lure the infestors out, then feedback them with some high templars that are off to the side/behind grass, and then swarm with zealots and have the stalkers push forward with them.

I'm not too sure I should invest more into chargelots or stalkers when fighting roach, or should I get a good combo? I always figured stalkers were the better choice, since they have +armored, they lack the health of zealots though.

(Also, if the zerg is paying attention he can fg the Dark Templars, or if he already has overseers, it's almost a waste)

a few collosi out of the range of the infestors for good measure with a several immortals and then a mix of stalkers and chargelots in the front. But the most important part is to keep the stalkers and immortals spread out.

You can always merge them inte Archons ,they do good damage vs bio .

Yeah, the post was when I was a scrub V_V.

Immortals with chargelot/stalker/sentry loves roaches. Immortals are such good units, and if he gets mutas, just transition to blink stalker/archon while keeping the immortals you had alive.
