I thought your years in High School were supposed to be the best friggin' years of your life. But, I'm not feeling that way. No where close to that. I'm only 3 weeks into my Freshmen year, and I hate it. I can find very little that I like about this school.
Not to mention that I'm still crushing on the same guy I've liked for three straight years.
High school makes me want to hide in a hole. Is there any way to make this year more positive?

Get Involved.
I felt the same way when I started high school; I was depressed over the sudden change and fluxuation of personalities {including myself}. But I'm now a junior, and I realized that Geting Involved is the quickest way to smile again.
You can join band, or ASB {Leadership}, maybe Drama class/club? A sports team, or volunteering. By joining in on some activity, you're going to meet others who share common interests, and they'll support you with any issues~
I hope this helps, but you can always pm me if you want to talk (:

Cherry Ki It is~ But why can't you take it, if you don't mind me asking? I can't take it because Marching Band is an elective. My schedule is already set as it is. Of course, I'm content with choir right now. (Even if my class is filled with a group of people with a short attention span.)

You could audition for a play or join a community service club. It all depends on your interests.
Oh, and getting involved helps a whooooooole bunch with shyness.
Try out for a musical or something since you're content with choir.
